“We were lied to when we checked in. We paid for our seats in advance as did our travelling companions. At check in they asked us to change our seats to accommodate a mother and child. So of course we agreed. But when we checked the seating, it was a young couple in our seats - not a mother and daughter at all. So we were bumped from our paid for seats so a man and his adult daughter could have them! That is wrong! And we were lied to! That is totally wrong! This may well be our last time using Air Transat!”
“airtransat is pathetic, they put different economy options and when you are using it for the first time, you don't know the different options you have and God forbid you have to make a change to your travel plans, then they will STEAL all the money from you. We made a booking for Mar 2nd 2025 in Sep 2025 and out of $3300, they returned $900 when we even informed over 30 days before. Shame on you airtransat for stealing people's money. If you are using this platform, then remember to choose the flex option because these people are pathetic, they will do anything and everything to STEAL YOUR MONEY. BEWARE! Find some other airlines, don't use AIRTRANSAT. thiefs.”
“Let me preface by saying...I am NOT a complainer, nor am I someone who leaves negative reviews. I am generally VERY positive and give the benefit of the doubt for businesses. But this experience was just horrible, and I strongly caution anyone that's planning to book with AirTransat to do your research first.
We booked a flight about a month ago. We were told we needed to call the airline to add our infant to the flight...and so we tried. For 3 weeks, we called just about every day. We waiting on hold for 8 hours or more, often to just have the call dropped after being on hold for so long. Believe it or not...today we got a call back..2 hours after our flight LEFT!!! Could you imagine? Shame on your Airtransat.”
“No DM cause I want everyone to know about this. I called several times to rebooked my flight and I haven’t got an answer. I am not happy with Air Transat and I promise you that I will never book with them again. We were treated with so much disrespect, even the agent called 6 policemen on us. Not sure why he would do that. We got to the airport on time and it was only 3 of us at the help desk. The agent lady decided to walk away after refusing to us. Felt discriminated against. The white gentleman got help while we waited and nothing for us. Very racist people including the Calgary police”
