I have been an Amazon customer for many years. everything was great, without any problems. But the last couple of months have been kind of terrible. After each order, my account is checked. I have to send additional data. I don’t have enough of this data. I need to send new ones, terrible service.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service Experience: I purchased the Tork Universal TJ0922A Jumbo Bath Tissue from Amazon, and unfortunately, my experience with the return process has been nothing short of a nightmare. I initially requested a return and refund on Aug 14, 2023, but when attempting to return the item, I was shocked to discover that Canada Post would charge an exorbitant $90 for the return, surpassing the original cost of the item itself. Upon contacting Amazon, I was assured they would investigate the issue and determine why the item wasn't eligible for free return. Unfortunately, in September, my return was denied. Frustrated, I reached out to customer service, and after speaking to a representative, I was promised a credit back as a gift card. However, to my dismay, I never received the gift card, and my money was never refunded. In my pursuit of a resolution, I contacted Michelle Lee, purportedly a manager at Amazon. To my disbelief, she not only displayed a complete lack of empathy but also told me to "go to hell" and explicitly stated that she doesn't care about what customer service had promised me. Shockingly, she then proceeded to abruptly hang up the phone. This entire experience has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. Not only did I end up paying more for the return than the actual item, but the unprofessional behavior from a manager at Amazon is completely unacceptable. I expected better customer service from such a reputable company. I caution potential buyers to be wary of the return process and hope that Amazon addresses these issues to maintain their credibility.

I had ordered a computer that did not work when it arrived. I sent it back and it was recieved by Amazon November 6 2023, it is now January 5 2024, I have yet to receive the refund, and I have incurred 2 months of interest charges, totaling over $120, that Amazon said they will not reimburse me for even though they admitted that the delay in the refund was due to a "glitch" on their end. The customer service rep kept saying there is nothing he or anyone there can do and that I should contact the credit card company. I own a small business and if myself or one of my employees causes a customer to be out of pocket above and beyond the cost of the item due to something we have done I am covering that expense it's only fair and good customer service. If I didn't need to use Amazon for business I would boycott and avoid them all together. It's a shame when a company takes advantage of customers Beca see they have a monopoly.

I found that parts listed as compatible with your item often don't fit. Mostly these are from China. This wastes your time. When a item shows up on Google, search again on Amazon because there are multiple sellers with different prices. At least on eBay you can select the lowest price. Lastly, leaving your package at your door when you are home is stupid. Ring the doorbell. Jeff Bezos is the problem.

The delivery people must all have broken fingers because they NEVER ring the doorbell. I love in an apartment complex and they just leave it at the reception area (which is not secure) or between the 2 doors (which is definitely less secure than the reception area). I have complained about this several time and I am always told that they will leave a message for the delivery department but it continues to happen. They obviously don’t care about their customers.

My account was hacked on Mon. Dec. 18, 2023 and I told them about the call I rec. and that the person called from THEIR customer service number and he had accessed all my confidential info in my account including my credit cards. They ignored the part about the scammer calling from the Amazon customer service # and told me not to use my acct. for 2 days and not to touch the items that appeared in my cart as they were looking into it. I waited 4 days then checked my account and the items were still in my cart and when I called them again I was put through to a female who kept telling me that there was noting in my cart. I asked her TWICE to confirm that I was speaking to Amazon Canada and she said yes. After 23min on the phone with this person, she finally said "oh I know what the problem is, this is Amazon.com not .ca." Are you ^%%$ kidding me!!! I was then transferred to .ca and left on hold for 20min only to get an individual who said he did not have experience with this sort of stuff and eventually said that he was forwarding my file to their fraud dept. which I remarked that it was supposed to already be there as of the Mon. when I originally called. I also asked him to place a hold on my Prime subscription as it was due the next day and I had no credit cards because I had to cancel them and he said he would take care of it. That same day I rec. an email from amazon Prime stating that I had no credit card on file and 2 more following that stating that there were problems with my card so thank you for that customer service. I called them again today (Dec. 30/23) after getting another email from Prime and I could hardly understand the woman as she kept cutting out and as she was claiming to fix the issue(s) she just hung up on me. What the hell is wrong with Amazon? This has been such a disgusting experience and after 2 weeks I still have NOT rec. any correspondence from them about dealing with the HACK and violation of my personal information. Perhaps they should also consider putting the number to customer service on the site instead of people having to google it. Is it a friggin secret???

Scammed into paying for Amazon prime. I canceled my trial membership and Amazon still decided to make me pay for a second month. Garbage company I will not ever sign up for Prime free trial again. When I spoke to customer service they say it's through Google pay and can't do anything...what a scam!!!!! Don't shop Amazon!!!!

Reason for Prime shopping with Amazon Canada was because shipping was expeditious and returns were simple and free. Have been a frequent customer for the past several years and was subjectively, happy with my purchases and hassle free returns. Recently, they have started to charge return shipping fees and delivery service was well below par. Frequent scheduled deliveries could not be accomplished due driver unable find address or claims not being able to access building that required access codes already provided in delivery instructions. Very unprofessional! Live Chat with AI is impossible and there is no option for chat with human customer services. Did not receive any call back even when requested!

Today the Amazon courier left my item soaking wet in the rain, when 3 steps away, it would have been left out of the rain and dry! Why? Because they obviously couldn't care less!!!! Another day they left my items on the bottom step (of 7!). What's next? Leave it on the lawn? In the driveway? At the curb? Or stolen??? No knock on the door, no ring of the bell. And worse, AMAZON.CA condone this!, posting the line "at or near the front door or porch"? What? No REPUTABLE companies would dare to call that a "delivery service". Don't order anything you can't afford to have damaged or stolen!! I'm done with their carelessness and lowball effort in handling items I have paid for, that I expect to be treated with respect and care. I am taking my future business elsewhere. The rating AMAZON.CA deserves for their "delivery service" is an absolute NEGATIVE!

major bait & switch from the early days. in the early days, they sold name brand goods at warehouse prices. now it's almost all cheap, off-brand, inferior, dollar-store quality junk sold at regular retail outlet prices. The handful of name brand quality items still available are usually substantially more expensive than at retail stores. and with every big-box store offering online shopping now, amazon.ca no longer offers anything unique or worthwhile with their services.

So far I’m fairly happy with Amazon.ca, but recently their delivery drivers have been sub-par, and I can’t leave direct (i.e. private) feedback unless I get the app. Previous deliveries have been on time and seamless, but the last 2-3 weeks, drivers leave packages at the garage door without texting about it. Just now, a neighbor sent a group text to say an amazon truck was blocking 4 garages. I went down to see if was my package & tell him the front doors were on the street. He ignored me, said he was delivering to “1-9”, & just handed me the package without knowing if I was the recipient, since there’s no number on the garage. So some packages go missing because they’re getting handed off to the wrong people. I would have given this feedback privately if Amazon.ca had made it easy in my account.

So it is 1st Dec 2023 and this order leaves in the morning from an Amazon facility 30 mins away from my home and does not get delivered the whole day. By the way I am on the east side of Toronto and the weather was nowhere close to severe. Looks like Amazon will close down services when it actually gets worse in Jan to March. If they cannot deliver by estimated time why do they even provide a delivery date. Atleast one will not waste time ordering for urgent items.

HORRIBLE customer service!!! Tried calling to get help and the lady wouldn’t let me speak and when I asked her name she just hung up on me. All I wanted was help with an item that has in accurate information. This is not a company I would want to spend my money at that have employees who treat you this way. GARBAGE
