I am American citizen living in New York area for the last 35 years. I am a big shopping customer in USA For Amazon, whole foods. Always very positive about their services, never complained. I visit every year India during winter seasons. Use a lot Amazon India, during my stay. Two days ago my wife ordered under garments, unfortunately because of confusion,she ordered wrong size. Even before opening the inside package, she realised that it's wrong size. Yesterday evening I contacted customer service , the lady refuses to talk to me in English. I explained the situation of size issue. She flatly said this cannot be returned or exchanged. I wonder, what kind of services Amazon India is doing in India. It's not the money, simple courtesy I expected from a global online commerce giant. This is very shameful to me being an American citizen that an American corporation is doing these types of business doing in India. I am going to write further in various social media on my return to NYC.

Amazon is one of the worst shopping site. Fake they don't pay anything refund after taking the return products. Many times I faced it. Faking customers. Please don't waste your hard earned money. I called 50 times for 299/- refund. They sending fake cheque in some name but no money cleared. Please note they are closing Amazon.

worst service ,ordered a washing machine ,delivery agent was so rude,not delivering the product ,amazon not cancelling the order, escalated three times ,contacted customer care thrice ,no solution ,looks like amount lost ,even i was a prime member,my suggestion is that dont buy prime membership or any products through amazon ,you may lose money

I had ordered from amazon music system and it was delivered but only problem is the delivery person took extra 1000 rs from us even after knowing the cost and did not return back the money and when confronted he denied it saying i had given the correct amount. Not expected this at all really a very bad experience

Lately, Amazon India has been very very very bad. Close to terrible. I didn't say much when the delivery chaps would fling the parcel down ( two of them , not all ) , or leave the gate open and not close it. I wouldn't bother if Amazon prime tv was hopeless. Continued to pay for a year. This year I decided to not continue with prime. And I've had to pay dearly One item that was ordered on the 27 th of October never arrived, cancelling it was an issue. Most reps are terrible. Now and then you'll get a good one. And now another item is late. They claim it'll come on the 19th of Nov, that's almost a month. For this kind of service, think it's best to move to another online service provider. Well Amazon it was fun while it lasted. It's not me, it's you. Avoid Amazon India if you want quick seamless delivery.

Worst services guys don't trust this people, Two incident once I purchased juice jar it was not meeting quality parameter so I placed for return no one called nor the order was picked up. Recently I bought a product which was delivered Nov 2 , got delivered with in 2 to 3 days now when I returned because of the small size, we are on 10th still not picked up . My question his when a product can be delivered with 2 to 3 days. Why can't it get picked with same timeline. When called customer care they are saying it will get picked on 12th Nov. Stop trusting this people and look out with other services who are better.

Experiencing pathetic services from past few months. Items is showing delivered whereas we have not evening received the order. After multiple times calling them, they say we will contact seller and after 5 days we will process refund. For refund also we need to call them n all..They also assure to call back but never ever received the call.

New Type of fraud by Amazon, wrong commitment on mail . Product return on 16th Oct 2022. But return not got . I call on 1-11-2022. and again return initiated by Amazon staff Mr Robin.return should be received till 6th Nov 2022 before 11.59 pm. But still not received. Again I called to customer care they told that refund was not initiated by Amazon. Today your refund stared and you will receive within 3 to 5 working days. Think they people just misguided me since 1 month.

As a Prime customer they gave me pathetic service from Amazon. Fake Estimated date displayed from Amazon app and almost month period to deliver the items. And from the amazon customer executive said that we need to cancel the items and re-order the same items. We all need to repeat the purchase order. Dispointing customer service support from Amazon.

Fellow Indians using Amazon for years may too have realized that its customer support has been rapidly down spiralling in India. Amazon India’s Customer support is becoming more and more agonizing. A company which claims to be Earth’s most customer centric company, now just places the customer in the centre and harasses and abuses them from all directions ! So much so for being Customer Centric now ! From Oct-22 they have disabled replacement/return option as well. You can click on it, go through the usual fill-in of boxes and tick-marks and after submit you shall realize that replacement/return no longer works. Now, it's just a corrupt company with no customer support. They just appreciate your patience & ask you to have some more indefinitely. For the last defective product they delivered, 8 picks were scheduled by Delhivery, 4 times they promised refund if the next pick up fails, talked to 12 of their executives, interacted with 17, twice filed complaints with National Consumer Helpline, and then in Consumer Commission. Amazon India brazenly violates Consumer Protection Act 2019 & Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules 2020 now. Note that 2020 rules make it mandatory for e-marketplace operators to provide for return and refunds.

Poor customer handling. Amazon is an international based dealer but the way they handle customers is pathetic. I’ve been waiting for one of my order for the past 10 days and their delivery boys are so unprofessional that they contact us and say that the address has been mentioned wrong so they will come by tomorrow. But to our dismay they have not reached till the date and this is really disgusting. It was a really urgent order that I placed. Also I’m unable to cancel the order. Same product was ordered by me earlier and due no delivery I had to cancel it. The refund for the previous order has also not been received. Really disappointing and poor application to place orders.

I live in Ahmedabad, Gujarat (pincode: 380058). My experience with Amazon India has been terrible and frustrating in Ahmedabad. Products are never delivered on time and sometimes aren't delivered at all. Getting what I've ordered on time is rare. Delivery agents always mark the order as either 'delivered' or 'rejected at delivery' when no attempt at delivery has been made. Whenever this is brought up with customer service, all executives make the same excuses - "it must have been marked by accident" - and the same empty promises - "it won't happen again" or "this issue has been escalated". And yet the same thing happens time and time again. This has been happening for years but it has become frustratingly frequent in the past month or so. Out of around 20 orders, I've faced this problem with at least 15 of them. Customer service continues to be unhelpful and delivery agents continue to be exasperating. As a prime member, it feels like I'm being cheated. I'm not paying for a membership to get my item a week later than it was promised or never at all. And note this - I have never faced this problem in Mumbai or with Amazon Singapore or Amazon US - ONLY AHMEDABAD. I am yet to find a way of communicating with Amazon that makes them ACTUALLY solve my problem and be responsive instead of giving me excuses and empty promises.

Amazon india is a hoax. They sold us kitchen utensils for 770$, but later we found out this same set costs 160$ on amazon.com. The utensils have not removable stains after the first use but amazon don't accept the return even though only 5 days passed. Never buy on amazon india.
