“I was experiencing extreme hearing difficulties and visited Amplifon in Hanley, Stoke On Trent. I was introduced to Barry Perkin who provided an extensive hearing examination. His immediate decision was that my hearing was so impaired that I had only 70% hearing in one ear and 50% in the other. The aids that Barry recommended and suggested I tried for a couple of weeks had an amazing effect on my hearing quality. I was able to join in conversations that had previously been difficult to understand and watch television without the volume being excessively loud. It is now 2 months since I first visited Amplifon and to say I am grateful to them is an understatement. Thank you Barry. JR South Cheshire”

“I have been using Amplifon Hearing for over ten years & go to their centre in Farnborough, Hanpshire. Lydia my audiologist there is wonderful & explains perfectly what she is doing throughout the hearing test. She is so efficient & caring, making sure that every detail is suitable for me whilst examining & testing my hearing. What I love about Amplifon is they never try to sell you something unless you ask about changing your aids & spend as much time as needed to get things right for you. I like the fact that the audiologists have their own centre meaning that you always deal with same person having built up a rapport & understanding of their patients, plus the friendly efficient back up staff at the branch.Thank all of you very much.”

“I accompanied my 87 year old Mum for her assessment and fitting for hearing aids for both ears.We went to the Amplifon shop on High Row in Darlington .She was very impressed with the thorough test and we were both treated with amazing customer care which included consideration of her individual wishes and expectations and excellent explanations. We were never hurried and the follow -up care has been great. You can't see the hearing aids, and they fit neatly behind her ears without causing problems with her spectacles. No hesitation in recommending this company.”

“Earlier this month I went along to the Amplifon store on the Lisburn Road, Belfast for a free hearing test with the intention of getting hearing aids if I required them. I am an ex police officer and had lost some of my hearing as a result of my job. Stephen the consultant in the Lisburn Road Branch ran very thorough tests to assess my hearing capability. These tests revealed that I had moderate hearing loss at certain frequencies. I was offered a free trial of hearing aids over the Christmas period an ideal time to assess the full impact of hearing aids on my hearing in crowds and small gatherings. When the hearing aids were fitted and set for my loss I found them to be excellent amplifiers of sound in clarity with very minimal or no feedback noise. The trial period was one week and I wore the hearing aids each day of the trial except one due to activities I was taking part in. When the trial period ended I was aware that although the hearing aids were excellent products I had been perhaps a bit premature in thinking I needed them. When I had the hearing tests Stephen had told me that Even though I had a loss that I had trained my ears well to cope with that loss and that my need at present may be borderline. This was an honest assessment with no push to sell the hearing aids and as previously stated an offer of a free trial. While I opted not to have the hearing aids at this point in my life I am aware that at some timein the future I will require them and I will have no hesitation in going to Amplifon again as the service and products are excellent and I could not rate them high enough.”

“I have been taking my dad to have his hearing check and hearing aids fitted at the Hanley store, then subsequently the follow up care appointments. We are very happy with the products and the service, everything has been made very easy from the outset. Mr Perkin was very easy to talk for both my dad and myself, my dad is not the easiest of people to deal with at times, most of the time actually, but the whole family is really happy with the outcome here. Well done Mr Perkin!”

“I was greeted by a nice receptionist who offered me a coffee. My hearing tests were explained to me in plain English and was recommended hearing aids which has improved my hearing. I would recommend Amplifon to others as I was treated with courtesy.”

“I visited ampliPhon in wigan the service was second to none everything was ex plained in detail my fitting was well sorted on a weeks trial now so in impressed as for my hearing it as I'mproved tremendously and any problems when I go back in a weeks time they will be addressed and sorted cannot beat that for service thanks to the Gordie lass job well done 5 xxxxx”

“I have been seen by Mr Barry Perkin at the Hanley branch in Stoke On Trent for quite a few years now, he really takes the time to listen to me and will always find the time to help me when required which is great for peace of mind. The hearing aids are great as products in themselves and really do help me an enourmas amount but it's the professional service that Barry and the staff there provide that really sets them apart from practically any team of people I have ever dealt with and I myself used to run a large company with many outlets and staff. Thank you again.”

“I live in the Falkland Islands. I was in Cowley in 2010 for 3 weeks. I popped into Amplifon and had an audio test within an hour. This was on a Friday. The hearing aids were delivered to the branch on the following Tuesday morning. Because of time limits it was not possible to complete the full bedding in period. However I have experienced no problems at all. I contacted Amplifon in Plymouth two years ago and they serviced my aids. When I explained that plans had changed and I wouldn't be there they suggested I post them and they would check them over. I got them back within three weeks co.pledge with spare tubes and domes. A first class service.”

“Went into the Cheltenham branch on Tuesday 22.11.16 to find out about appointments for hearing tests & was given one that afternoon. I saw David who was very good & explained everything in full detail to me during my appointment which took about 1 & a half hours. He found out that i had hearing loss that was worse in my left ear & i am unable to hear high sounds.He fitted a hearing in my ear & could tell the difference with it,then he went over all the types of aids i could have & recommended i did not go for one of the very expensive ones.The one i came away seems to fit nicely & do a very a job,tried it at work foe first day today 24/11/16 & i found i could hear a lot better with it.I have a follow up appointment next week to ensure everything is ok,so i am happy so far.”

“This review is about Peter Barlow at Chichester branch: He's the best audioligist I have encountered, and, due to my particularly tricky hearing loss (auto immune inner ear disease) I have tried quite a few. Some were good and tried hard, others made minimal effort to get the best hearing aid for me. Peter however was the most understanding and also the most 'on the ball' from the technical side of things. He even downloaded an article for me which was very kind of him given that I didn't buy any hearing aids from Amplifon in the end - BUT once I get to the stage of needing hearing aids, (i.e. my hearing is stable) Peter is the practioner I will return to since I trust him completely not just to 'shift product' but to try to get the best possible hearing quality for you.”

“I have had my hearing aids for over 2 years from Epsom Branch and couldn't praise them enough from Oonah the receptionist to Simon the specialist he was very experienced and very knowledgable,He took a great deal of time and patience to reassure me well done.I recently recommended a friend to him and she purchased expensive aids on 29th Feb still waiting for MS vouchers for recommending new sale.Only other issue recently had to return 1aid with a problem and the cost£99aids are just over 2 years old I do think it is a very high cost to pay I know they are then covered for 6 months but if I have problem with other one another£99!!!!”

“Paul J Thanking Caroline Jones at Carmarthen for the professional way in which she gave my earing test and I would most sincerely advise others with earing problems to pay a visit to the Carmarthen shop I was a 100% satisfied with the treatment and the earing aids I purchased THANKS FOR IMPROVING MY EARING”

“Visited the Colwyn bay branch after poor service from Specsavers and Ormerods (Boots). After a 5 minute chat about my issues with the other companies , Mr Williams provided me with a solution . He went on to do a thorough test which included word tests, demonstrated some aids and gave me options of solutions. At no point did he try to sell me anything, I made my own mind up. I have now have my aids for 2 months and am amazed at them and especially the fact I can take phone calls on them. The after service is excellent and friendly. All branches will vary depending on the dispenser but if you are in North Wales, go visit this branch.”

“I can't praise the Chichester shop enough. I was nervous about having my hearing tested but Peter Barlow and his staff quickly put me at ease. Everything was fully explained and no pressure was put on me to buy the most expensive hearing aids, "which I didn,t". After the fitting of my aids I had a couple of slight problems Peter was only to happy to help me. I would recommend Amplithon and in particular the Chichester branch to anybody. Thank you for helping me hear clearly for the first time in years.”

“My father is having a five star services with amplifon. Dad is 82 so getting about is difficult, Greg from amplifon came to the house, tested dads hearing, told dad he would come back 2 weeks later with hearing aid. He arrived on time, fitted the hearing aid, done more tests, shown dad how to change the battery. Coming back on Tuesday next week to make sure everything ok and dad is still happy with purchase. The friendly service, punctuality, and care Greg gave was excellent. Thank you from Anthony Trego”

“I really should have come to this company years ago, I sure would have saved a lot of money! Having worn private aids for nearly 6 years - I still struggled in a lot of situations and was not a happy bunny. Thankfully - I met my Audiologist in Bromley who I have to say, is possibly the most wonderful person I have ever met. Not only did he provide the most thorough test, he did not rush, made me feel completely at ease and did not try to "sell" me a hearing aid. The decision on what to wear was purely made on my test results and previous experiences, and after 6 months, the service has been 1st class and I can hear like a normal human being. Mr Chatinder Randhawa has completely changed my life, I am so grateful I have him as my Audiologist. From one happy customer.”

“I had a problem regarding what I considered was an overcharge on an insurance claim which was NOT dealt with satisfactorily by Head office I went into Wgmore Street branch where I purchased my second and latest pair of hearing aids and was delighted that Mathew Allsopp had returned from his holiday and was able to see him personally Within 2 hrs of our meeting he had resolved the problem to my entire satisfraction I would like to extend my thanks to him and hope that Amplifon will appreciate the wonderful way he dealt with a very irrate client Maureen Zelzer”

“Have always found the staff very helpful and willing listeners. they seem to be able to find the answers to any problem related to the hearing aid itself and they seem to take an interest in my own personal issues relating to the hearing loss. Atmosphere in the shop is calm and quiet.”
