Rude installers who forged the paperwork on the "sign off" sheet they handed me with my bill, as they were leaving. They ticked everything to say they had gone through it with me, but they went through nothing. Furthermore, they cut through my phone line and didn't even bother to tell me. I put in a complaint and the manager was supposed to phone me back but, of course, he didn't bother. Not only will I never touch this company again, I urge you not to.

Ongoing issues with a conservatory that is in warranty. My conservatory developed a leak, I contacted Anglian on the 27th of October 2020. I was given an appointment for a technician to visit on 02 December 2020. I was told both sides of the gutters had parts that are inefficient causing leaks and need replacing to stop leaks. The next appointment booked was 15th January 2021, the technicians arrived with the wrong parts! The next appointment alleged earliest appointment given to me was the 10th of March 2021! Meanwhile, I sent several emails requesting parts to be correct and assured everything was in order, subsequently, on the 10th of March I was called on the day to be told the appointment will be cancelled due to rain! The appointment was rebooked for the 17th of March 2021, the technicians turned up and again had the incorrect parts. When told this is not the first time this has happened the technician shrugged their shoulders. For the second time the technicians blamed the office, on speaking to the office they advised they can only order parts instructed by the technicians. I made 4 calls on the day requesting a call back without any success. The issue is still ongoing. A complete lack of accountability and serious breakdown of communication to the detriment of its customers. I'm surprised Anglian has survived their inefficiencies. Do not purchase from them, their customer service seems to fail customers at every given opportunity.

They fitted defective windows and doors and were incapable of rectifying them. We will never ever use Anglian again.. the warranty they offer is literally worthless ...

We had a new front door in 2013, The Classic collection range, called the Chichester. It is underneath a large porch area so is not open to the elements. We noticed paint peeling around the lattice window area a couple of years after fitting. I telephoned them and was told that they would send me a touch up stick FOC through the post. This never arrived. My mistake, I never chased them up for it. As we had other projects on the go, the door was left alone. Nearly 8 years on, it looks a complete mess. I telephoned and e-mailed them and was eventually told that I would need to purchase a touch up paint stick for £13.65 plus P&P. I argued to no effect that this should be sent out FOC. No apology was made. They sent through on a PDF file their terms and conditions which state just a 2 year guarantee on the paint. They emblazon 10 years and 15 years on other things but the paint guarantees are hidden away and difficult to find. I certainly won't be using this company again. For a national company, who aren't cheap, the way they have treated me is shameful.

We recently moved to a house which had used Anglian Windows to replace the windows. We noticed that several of the sealed units had misted but did not consider this a problem as the windows were less than 4 years old and according to the guarantee the sealed units were covered by the guarantee until 2032. We enquired about transferring the guarantee into our name and after several phone calls chasing a response we were informed that they required an inspection visit by one of their engineers to ensure that the installation had been maintained in line with their maintenance guide. The cost for this was £250. If the engineer considered that it had, we then had to pay a further £49 per contract of which there were 2 to cover the process of transferring the guarantee. The £250 was not refundable and I replied stating that this extortionate fee was unreasonable as I did not know what the previous owner had or hadn't done but I have no idea what she could have done to prevent the glass from failing in such a short period of time. Ten minutes later I received a reply saying they could not help me further. Be warned - their guarantee is worthless and their Customer Service is atrocious. If they can avoid rectifying their faulty workmanship in any way, rest assured that they will do so.

I do not recommend. Whilst I am happy with the product itself - a new front door - and the employee who came to install was efficient and highly capable, the customer service of this company was atrocious. I ordered the door in mud September and I went with AHI as a local company had told me it would not be done until January and I needed the work done far more quickly as by this stage my door had deteriorated to the pint where I could no longer lock it. Their representative said the normal wait time is 8 weeks but that it may take a little longer due to the pandemic. However he said it should be done by the end of November or shortly after. The greater speed than the local company did seem to me to largely offset their premium prices so I went with it. In fact it was not installed until 16 Feb. I went a long period with no communication giving an indication of when installation would be likely to take place and in fact I only became aware that there would be a substantial delay when I contacted them. It seems to me many companies are using the current situation to absolve themselves of inefficient, incompetence and laziness. I would not use them again and would not recommend others to do so.

As previous customers have pointed out, customer service is not a priority for this company and is in fact non existent. we paid £2020 for a new front door. All was well until it started to fall apart. This Company stalled and prevaricated throughout to such an extent we are now in the process of taking them to the Small Claims Court. No apology from them. Avoid this Company at all costs. No after sales service and only reply to emails when you send them to the CEO : Martin Rutter They promise return phone calls and visits, none of these actually happen. I can`t imagine they actually read these comments or they would change their working practices.

I am appalled at the level of customer service provided by Anglian. Absolutely speechless! Anglian made many promises when trying to obtain my signature for a contract but now the manager I spoke with has no recollection of these promises. Very convenient might I add. Crystal windows warned me at the time (as I enquired with many companies) that Anglian will go back on their word and I was naive enough to assume a company with a reputation like Anglian would do no such thing. How wrong was I?! They have no recollection that they were supposed to fit my old door to an outhouse for me- as good as called me a liar in fact. They agreed to do this as they took 1 YEAR AND 3 MONTHS to fix my faulty door that THEY installed at the wrong size in the first place. They failed to reduce my invoice to the CORRECT amount. My mother is an elderly pensioner who owns the home and Anglian are aware of this yet they are more than happy to lie, scam and cheat their way to a sale. BBC’s rogue traders springs to mind. If it wasn’t for Mario and Conrad (installation team) and their most professional attitude and outstanding work, Anglian would not be in my home right now! Please don’t make the same mistake I did. This company is merely a shadow of what they used to be. Their reputation amounts to a fraction of what it once was. Do your research and avoid this company at all costs. I can only hope my review goes some way to saving yourselves the headache and stress I can no longer save myself or my mother from. I’m even more disappointed that I don’t have the option to give 0 stars. Perhaps negative stars should be offered as an option! If Anglian are honest enough to honour their promise, I will come back and happily update this review...

STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. They remove bad reviews from other sites to keep ratings high. Any complaints you have will be passed to their legal department and you will be treated like an idiot. Many many people are in dispute with the company. Search for Anglian dissatisfied customer page on FACEBOOK as a reference point for REAL REVIEWS.

Poor quality and service. Poorly fitted and designed front door still with drafts after about 6 service visits. Bifold seals pull out when opening and closing. Plus drafts through each seal on the doors. No apparent thermal break condensation on window frames. Not the product expected or customer service for the price paid.

I had a new front door fitted in December 2019 and recently, I've found it doesn't lock. I had requested an engineer with no reply (within 24 hours), then emailed Anglian with no reply. The phone line was also ringing out with no message to inform me of offices being closed. When I managed to get through to someone via a different email address (almost immediately), I was told that ALL offices in Scotland had closed and no one would be able to come out. I told them this was a security and safety issue; they still couldn't help. What did they suggest? I asked them. Nothing, they can't help and definitely don't offer an emergency call out service as stated in the contract. They stated that this was because of the Covid pandemic and I informed them that essential work was to be undertaken where health, safety and security were in jeopardy and having checked the government website, I copy and paste the easily accessible and open information below: Examples of essential work may include: - to carry out utility (including electricity, gas, water, telephone, broadband) safety checks, repairs, maintenance and installations (where those cannot be delayed). - to carry out repairs and maintenance that would otherwise threaten the household’s health and safety. - urgent repairs and maintenance - time critical repairs and maintenance that threaten the household’s health and safety Anglian; get your facts right and provide the customer service that you heavily sold me on. I now cannot leave the house and have to sleep with the door unlocked because your policies are greatly flawed. I am appalled.

I moved into my new property in November 2020. The previous owners had replaced windows and doors with Anglian in 2019. We discovered the composite front door would not close properly hinges faulty. The door had to be forced open and close, scraping the frame each time and getting progressively worse. I tried to place a service call only to be told the guarantee was with the previous owners and I had to pay to transfer in to my name. I did this and after placing service call, getting nowhere, phoning and venting, a manager came out in December, confirmed door and frame needed urgent attention. He could not repair but would get parts and send Engineer. Engineer attended a few weeks later, it was pointless. He did the same, looked at the door said he could not repair, would order parts and be back as urgent. I have not seen or heard from them since. Today I contacted customer service department on live chat to enquire what was happening. Guess what!! I was sent a link to request a service engineer visit. It is like groundhog day. The longer this goes on the more damage is being caused to the door and frame. I have yet again placed a call, what appalling customer service

ABSOLUTE COWBOYS WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! In 2019 Anglian lied to us about their ability to supply bespoke joinery that would match our existing windows. They took thousands of pounds from us, smashed our existing windows and then fitted assembly line frames that looked nothing like what we had ordered. Their hideous, thick frames cut out 40% of the light in our kitchen and we now have to have the lights on all day. We have been fighting them for two years. They even refused to refund the deposit on a living space they openly admitted that they couldn't supply. They told us we had to have an assembly-line conservatory instead. Not what was sold to us by the bully-boy salesman. Whatever you do, do not use this company. Go onto Facebook and find the group 'Anglian Home Improvements Dissatisfied Customers' of over 800 customers who have been cheated out of their money. Anglian trades on a reputation that is completely fake. Their brochures are full of lies. Do not use them under any circumstance.

Weird salesman arrived, everything was an issue or a negative. He definitely wasn't selling us his confidence because just the way he was behaving was off putting. Upon seeing shutters he was ohhh yeah that an issue hmm. Then upon asking for Georgian bar on top he was mmm yeah do u really want that. Also said we don't do sales we give u our one price and thats it we don't barter like years ago. Also said windows aren't what they used to be price wise, I said our builder we were looking at 8-10k he was ohhh no that was tonks ago and proceeded to tell us the guy up the road paid £36k another £24k. So we're already losing interest here. A few days later came back with a quote of £19000 for Windows on a 3 bed semi detached for which we were quoted between £9-12k elsewhere!!! What the hell! Emailed him to say we've had better quotes and he replied back saying okay thanks all the best. Lol yeah mate all the best with ur £19k wacko quote.

DO NOT SIGN UP ON YOUR FIRST CALL WITH ANGLIAN! They will drop 50%! I spoke to Anglian to get a quote to get 5 windows in my property double-glazed and it was a complete and utter waste of my time. A 90 minute consultation with a babbling salesman giving the worst sales pitch of "Your clearly a very intelligent customer" nonsense resulted in a quote for.... £12,000! I got quotes from two other companies as a comparison and that were offering the exact same service for between £5-7k. The salesmanship is truly inappropriate. Being told that the salesman is retired and using his special pension discount to get YOU just YOU such a low price because you're so special? Absolutely disgraceful and they're being reported. This is their sales tactic, offer an insane price (£15k) then suddenly drop thousands as a "special discount" (£12k) while trying to talk up premium quality. Then the salesperson's manager will call you, and then someone else, each time the price will drop. A friend of mine did this over 3 months and his window price came down 50%.

Over priced, incompetent and very poor workmanship. Fitters broke window frame and tried to hide the damage with a bodged repair job. Never got a FENSA certificate until 3years later! Never got an apology. Also, they use contractor window fitters.....the same contractors used by Anglian’s cheaper competitors like safe style UK, ......SO WHY PAY MORE?
