"Despite giving a review that was far from complementary about aspects of the service Anglian provided I have heard nothing from them. At the very least I would have expected a phone call about it, after all they were quick enough to call when I enquired and wanted information from them.
To highlight the basis of my dissatisfaction I have loaded two photographs of the door, before and after.
I made it very clear that I wanted the new door to look like the old i.e. the same colour scheme, not blue and white and near enough the same glass configuration. I was shown a picture of a door that was similar to the original and I was assured by the salesman that was what I was going to get. I am now living with a door that is not what I wanted both in style and surrounded colour.
On the plus side the door was installed to a very high standard with a minimum of fuss."

"The way that we have been treated is despicable. It took them more than 8 months to change 5 windows (2 triple and 3 double glazed) and they still have not managed to get it right. The first time they came to change the windows was on the 30th of January 2024 and there are still issues that Anglian Improvement cannot get right.
Mark Davenport, the manager lacks basic communication skills, he is patronising to the point that he is almost rude. On the 28th of June 2024, an appointment was booked to change a couple of panels which were replaced in January- the landing window (mark inside) and one of the triple glazed window, which had the wrong pattern. My wife took time off from work, but they did not turn up and did not have the basic courtesy to inform us. We had to contact them. On the 9th of August, they arrived but they forgot to order the panel to the landing window.
We thought that by replacing a double to a triple glazed window, we will less noise. On the contrary, we have more noise and now we also have condensation as soon as the temperature hits below 10 degree Celsius. We were sent a link and told that this is normal.
PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY-THEY ARE EXPENSIVE, BUT THE SERVICE IS VERY POOR AND THEY DO NOT WANT TO BE HELD ACCOUTABLE FOR THEIR SHODDY JOB."

"“With an average lifespan of around 30 years, these doors are durable, look like real wood, and won't easily crack or peel.” As quoted by Anglian online! Ours is peeling after 6 years. We were told when we ordered everything came with 10 years guarantee and when I phoned customer services was told guarantee ( sent 5 months after door was installed only) 5 years for door finish. They told me to send photos and would get back to me, haven’t heard anything in weeks! So buyers beware they cannot be trusted"

"Firstly waiting a longer time that we thought for 4 new windows. One we asked if they could fit a bigger window which meant dropping the brick work a couple of brick courses. They said yes and we went ahead and ordered but, we had gone through the Safestyle phone number that we had used last year for our doors. Before I got the date to do the job, I had told the surveyer I wasn’t asked type of window etc which he rectified. The date we got clashed with our bathroom being done so they said 2 weeks later which I wasn’t in agreement with workmen using my brand new bathroom, not on at all. I said cancel it as I didn’t really need it doing just didn’t like our windows. I was told I couldn’t as stuff had been ordered. Prior to this I had just lost my husband and really didn’t care if they are done or not. They decided to come Friday of the bank holiday and said it would take two days, which originally they said three? The front was done first day and the rest ti be done on the Monday including the bigger opening to be done. They were very curtious regarding my loss, Friday went well. Monday not as good, the smaller windows done no problem and then after the knocking out of bricks and the newer bigger window put in, I was shown the end result. I was shocked to say the least, I have been left with a building site as the window surround was not filled in ready to take tiles, nothing, just shoddy opening that looks like a bulldozer had done it. I had appointments the next day regarding my husbands funeral and the phone kept going off in the car, I just ignored it till I got home. I ask had they tried to contact me and a person with no manners just gruffly said yes fir payment! I did pay the bill and took a day to reflect on what to do? I wrote a review on trust pilot, didn’t know at first that they had taken over Safestyle. I ended it by saying customers need to know how their work is going to be finished? Ie now needing builders as I had asked when they contacted me for payment, why was I left with building work needing doing. They just said oh we don’t do that. I got a reply and a link to have my say, which I did and sent photos. I was apologised to and told they would get an engineer out within 2 weeks. I then got a message, addressed to my late husband, which proper upset me as I had dealt with everything. I wrote another review and said it wasn’t good enough. I then got another message back to say someone would come in 2 working days, that was up on the 5th June. To say I am devastated and angry at the same time is an understatement. How can they take monies from people after they have left them in such a state? I have now lost all faith and don’t know which way to turn. I cannot finish my kitchen unless I pay out for builders which I am now down to one pension. Please do not use this company. I would be the first to shout out at good work but, not what I have been left with. Shame on you Anglian shame on you, you should be shut down."
