Order: 30334138 Ordered a door from Anglian Window on the strict assurance that it would be installed within six weeks. After four weeks and still no visit from the surveyor, it was clear Anglin Window were not going to make their promised installation date,. I therefore cancelled the order. I wan informed that as this had passed the seven day cooling off period, I would need to speak to the Area Manager. This was on 23d Aug, Although I have emailed her three times I have not have any response, not even an acknowledgment of email receipt. I have contacted compliant who say they will respond in five days, and nothing yet even thought the five days have passed. I have email and had notification that Anglian Windows will respond with 2 days, but nothing even through the two days have elapse. Told today that complained were still waiting for a response from themselves. Given a number to call - which does not exist Number on their website gives an automated message to go to their website for any information before cutting off Complete joke of a company - clearly only objective is getting your money then completely ignoring you in the hope that you go away.

Windows installed. Noise horrendous from outside. Large gap visible in frame from indoors to outdoors. Very rushed engineer moved glass etc. Said was done. Noise still horrendous. He tried to blame normal road noise. Can hear people talking, whistling, even heard someone on phone and could hear the person on the other end of line!!!! Emailed several times. No response. Only response to say I have no authority as in partners name. We jointly ordered and paid so why? Blatantly sexist. This has been since July. Appalling service. Fitters were amazing. But clearly an issue with production, customer care, management and communication.

Cowboys! They take your money, give a shoddy service with poorly constructed products. Management don’t even know what’s going on and engineers don’t turn up! Avoid if you want to not be stressed and lose money

- Staff were rude, and were verbally abusive to our neighbours with mental health problems. The neighbours were so upset that they have now refused to allow access, meaning that the scaffolding is still in situ. - Verbal guarantees were not met. - Bullying tactics were used on my partner. - Fittings were cancelled with less than a day’s notice, resulting in loss of income. - Sending threatening letters. - Abysmal customer service. I can genuinely say that I’ve never had a worse experience with a company.

we recently moved into a house fitted with Anglian windows. We received a letter advising that as the warranty period was soon coming to an end, we were eligible for an extended warranty, at a cost of course. However, we would need to confirm that there were no defects. I responded be email that i might be interested but would need the defects remedied. In return, after some days, i got an invitation to 'chat'. After accepting the invitation, my first question was why there was no response to my query about the warranty by email. I received an email to say that 'my ticket had been created' (whatever that means). I then got an answer to my original email about never getting an answer to emails, suggesting I email the same address that was not receiving my email. I dont think Ill be bothering with the extended warranty Peter Monaghan

They will rip you off if they can. I was initially quoted £40,000 for about 15 windows and a couple doors... (such a joke) They try to flog you plastic windows - 'blah blah blah, but today I can offer you 50% off, but I need the order to be placed now'. They were so pushy and this really put me off. Never trust a salesman from this company. The salesman kept calling me after weeks and said 'through his channels' he could get it to me cheaper. In the end he quoted about £6k. What a joke. Not only that - Plastic windows should not exist - they are terrible for the environment, look hideous and feel cheap! STOP MAKING PLASTIC WINDOWS AND DOORS!!!

Wrong front door fitted despite our insistence it had to be a like for like replacement Arch window measured incorrectly and still held in with sealant and wood after 10 weeks Window catches loose : windows cleaned by fitters with solvent which they are not supposed to be; general lackadaisical job

Anglian Windows, another corrupt fly by night firm that think they can get away with anything. Oh dear, they have come up against me. What can I say, if you don't want to face endless hours of shitfuckery and dealing with an incompetent, lying crooked firm, then choose a reputable local firm instead of the cowboys employed by the national companies. So we received a phone call congratulating us recent installation of windows. The representative from Anglian was overjoyed that we had our windows fitted last week. After the representative stopped speaking, I told them that we had not had our windows fitted last week. He checked and said we put in the order in 2018. I replied, that is correct, our windows were fitted almost 3 years ago and we have had ongoing problems ever since and the matter is now with the solicitors. The representative checked and said this was a, "massive error and would we accept their sincere apologies". What can I add. These are the problems we have had with Anglian since inception. We have spent hundreds of hours emailing them, phoning them and having meetings with them, all to deal with their "massive errors". We will not be compensated for our time in having to deal with this level of incompetence and poor levels of workmanship, yet these people are being paid to provide this pitiful level of service? Unbelievable! Following an independent surveyors report, the fit provided by Anglian did not even come close to FENSA fitting standards required by law, with the addition, "One of the poorest examples of workmanship I have witnessed". So now the social media campaign will begin, so that others will not have to face such levels of incompetence, lies and thievery, from firms that portray themselves as, "The best in the Industry". Do not have windows installed by Anglian Windows unless you want, and have the ability, to take these crooks to court. Be warned people.

Had windows installed which was the ones i wanted, but were ok, but then the window hinges seized up and wouldn't open, the windows were still under guarantee, but when i phoned said would send someone out at the cost of a £100, will never use them again as were expensive

Absolutely awful experience - eight month delay from buying windows to installation. Contractors had arrogant and lazy attitude, non-existent customer service. Still waiting for them to pick up scaffolding two weeks after the job. AVOID!

What has happened to Anglian Windows????? We have used the company in the past and been satisfied with the work but we are still waiting for remedial work on windows which were fitted in February 2021 and a front door, which was fitted in 2016, to be replaced. Despite photographs being sent on numerous occasions, an agreement the front door needed to be replaced, appointments being promised, nothing has been done. The replacement door was supposed to have been delivered on July 23rd and the door fitted the following week but as you are unable to speak to anyone at Anglian I have no idea what work is going to be carried out at the appointment for NOVEMBER 2021, which was sent yesterday by text message

Wanted quote for composite door. It was more than twice other quotes. Salesman said could look at quote again as working in area!!! I thought this approach went years ago. Other quotes I got were near what I expected. Wont be contacting Anglia again.

DO NOT USE ANGLIAN WINDOWS. Following on from our shoddy install over 2 years ago, we were advised - as also mentioned in the terms and conditions - that if ever any problems were to arise, that as the fit was under warranty, a simple call to the customer service team :) would resolve the situation!!! Coincidentally we actually received a non-related call from the so-called customer service team asking if we were happy with the works and asking if there was anything they could do to help. I happened to mention that one of the window locks had jammed and we couldn't open it. I was then told that a member of the install team would contact us and they would arrange a good time to visit and replace the handle. However, unbeknown to me, they decided to send a replacement handle through the post which arrived today, in chrome colour!!! My handles are white and not chrome. So I tried calling their care team on a 0800 number, I was answered by a recorded message which basically told me their office hours were 0900-1700 and then was cut-off. I managed to speak with an online representative, which I had to explain repeatedly only to be told that I was personally expected to fit the handle myself. I then told them that this was under warranty and I would be expecting them to fir the replacements. Again, no was the answer and so they decided to send me a short video (11 seconds) to show me how the jammed lock can be opened. I also told them that the handle colour was incorrect and was subsequently told they don't make white handles no more only chrome finish (seriously). Please, please, please stay away from Anglia at all costs.

This company is an absolute joke. Leaving me and my partner in financial detriment and distress with nothing to show for it. Total cowboys, disgusting customer service, no empathy. Blaming everything on covid - no contact in 8 months. They haven’t fulfilled their contract with us for the date arranged and due to their mistake we are taking the fall for it and having to pay money we don’t have. Absolutely terrible Joke! Do not do anything with this company

DO NOT USE DO NOT USE, PLEASE FIND SOMEONE ELSE AND SPARE YOURSELF A LOT OF FRUSTRATION. I had windows and doors replaced in a 4 bedroom house which I have as an investment property that I rent out. They were unable to distinguish between having an correspondence address and an installation address and sent crucial paperwork to the installation address meaning I didn't receive it. Occasionally they did write to me at my home address but couldn't do this consistently. They didn't turn up when they said they would. The fitter was rude and intimidating, he made me sign to say I was happy with the entire installation after them fitting just one window. I was advised the installation would take 2 days, however the fitters didn't complete it within the 2 days and didn't communicate to me or the tenants that they hadn't finished and would be back the following day. As I don't lilve there I assumed they would phone me or talk to the tenants about any such matters. They turned up the following day (day 3) but no one was there to let them in as we weren't expecting them which meant I was suddenly left with trying to get time off work to drive for an hour to the property to let them in which was very stressful. I was then informed by the area manager that the installation had finished and he chased for payment, thankfully I didn't pay until I went to the property myself to inspect it, they hadn't fitted a letter box, had fitted the right locks and hadn't fitted the patio doors but instead left them in the back garden. At no point were either myself of the tenants advised what was happening. I have wasted hours and hours trying to chase around, make/receive calls and emails to get this sorted. At no point did I get to speak to anyone who seemed to take my complaint seriously or care that I was trying to resolve the issues and get the work finished. I was repeatedly given false information. Due to not having a letterbox for more than 10 days Royal Mail stopped delivering the post, as per their policy, meaning the tenants were forced to go to the sorting office each day in the centre of the city with no parking to collect their post which naturally they were very unhappy about. Now over 2 years later I haven't ever received any form of certificate/warranty and don't have any paperwork detailing what is covered and how to report an issue. Despite chasing this multiple times I've never received it which they say is my fault and they insist they cannot resend it until I pay £22. The lack of communication and lack of customer service was and still remains appalling, PLEASE PLEASE save yourself a lot of wasted time, money and frustration and use someone else!

DO NOT USE ANGLIAN . 5 months in and and now having to take out court action to get a refund on my two patio doors that are faulty and damaged.One fitted damaged,other warped frame ,faulty lock and plastic worn back to bare metal .3 fitters tried to correct as original guy admitted “couldn’t get door to fit properly,best he could do”.leaving us with a door I couldn’t lock so I had to sit up all night in an insecure property.2 manager visits,both agree faulty,then weeks go by ,then an e mail from yet another manager offering yet another attempt at a repair .Fenca won’t help,GGF won’t help as I now want a refund on these faulty windows which the Law states I am entitled to.Have to give them One attempt at a repair,they have had 3 and now much worse .Anglian also saying I denied them entry to my property and have not responded to their e mails. Totally untrue.Have maid dozens of phone calls,Someone will ring me back ,no they don’t.Sent many many e mails,also recorded delivery letters to which THEY do not reply .Have written to watchdog as Anglian are Not Above The Law.Now have the stressful prospect of taking them to court to get my money back for the shocking goods they have fitted in my home by an incompetent fitter . My last word DONT USE ANGLIAN

Avoid Terrible customer service, basically non existent, fitted patio doors 2019 ,wrong doors, cowboy job, they leak, emailed , phoned, sent letters, same excuses everytime, eventually a fitter will come, look, tell me how bad it is, then back to square one, nothing fixed again, they lose everything about it and we start again and again still fighting now

Faulty products and disgraceful customer service (nobody wants to speak to you). We spent the extra money and had Anglian fit our windows in 2015, thought we'd get better quality products and after sales, customer service brilliant for first couple of years. Since then various window locks have failed and been replaced, still within 10 year guarantee period. Recently another window lock has failed, have now been told that our existing window locks are obselete and have received a completely different replacement. We will end up with completely different sizes, colours and types of window locks all round the house as they all fail!. Suggested they replace all the locks for continuity as they're obviously faulty and it would be nice gesture, have been told "only at our expense and don't contact them again about it"!!!. Unbelievable.

I have had to contact them twice to see when windows and door will be fitted.had an email on 15th July to say windows at manufacturer.Anglian advised would get a letter by the end of this week with fitting date.still no letter.So dissatisfied.when the surveyor came he said you will get a call in 2 weeks.i wish companies wouldn't give timescales if they can't deliver.regretting ordering with them now.
