“I had updated my apple tablet to iOS 18.1 have had nothing but trouble with my notifications ever since. Before I installed that my tablet was running great thatโs why I bought Apple products. I had called customer service on 12/18 about not getting notification alerts on my email app on either device. A numerical number or a sound alert. And I do count on those alerts so I donโt have to go into my tablet where before if I missed the sound alert a number would be there. they used a stolen card, with no checking.
I don't own anything Apple and never have. Looking at the transactions it is clearly fraud the way it was done.
I don't use this card online
I reported it to apple within 48hrs of the transaction, got a case number, and was told this is happening a lot, there should be no problem getting a refund.
Yet Apple rejected the claim within 24 hrs, I had to ring them to find out, as they didn't even have the decency to email us.
They would not give a reason, just the case was closed. Bad luck, Kim the manager told me she had no manager in Apple higher than her - LIAR
I then contacted Apple Sydney who were nice, but they advised as it was done online, and they couldn't help.
Its in the hands of the banks, who advised it is clearly fraud. I will contact any other government dept. who will pursue Apple for the fraudulent behaviour.

“I purchased a new iPhone 16 Pro Max, and needless to say $1500 plus, and a brand new phone that I love has had glitches. I had sent a message on my Apple Support with no response today. I called Apple. Which they ran a test on the phone and couldnโt see anything wrong, and of course I financed the phone through. Apple, but in order to get a new phone, I had to have that amount in my bank account, I would purchase the phone out right.. so needless to say Iโm pretty much stuck with the glitchy phone. Iโve never had one bad thing to say Iโve always praised Apple to my friends and always encouraged my android friends to come over to Apple. Today was extremely disappointing to me. This will be my last forever purchase -multi billion dollar company. and I wouldโve mailed this phone back immediately. That was the topic at hand. I would have been at the UPS store as soon as I got the return box with the brand new replacement phone. I have to say my ex-husband purchased a phone for a few hundred dollars, just a simple phone that does everything that it needs to do but yet I spend a small fortune. I have had the most horrific experience with the online / phone Apple support team. 2 months, no resolutions, I still don't have a working apple ID, have a solution for how to transfer my data or how to set up a new apple ID. I've invested over 15hrs of my own time and over 1/2 dozen calls and many emails trying to solve this with no success. Apple locked my Apple ID WITHOUT any warning, or any explanation of what I did wrong, which has resulted in the most extreme inconvenience. No access to the app store, apps shutting down as I can't update, no access to iMessage, voice messages, Apple PAY, iCloud and more. A warning would have saved all of this havoc and saved the reputation of Apple - BE KINDER APPLE. DO BETTER. TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE HUMANS, NOT A PIECE OF PAPER WITH TERMS AND CONDITIONS. I'm a human with a heart and I'VE BEEN TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL. This is the most painful situation where Apple only sees black and white and is not willing to look at case by case and treat customers like humans. This was innocent & not ill intended - I literally don't know what I did. Apple doesn't care enough to educate customers or help. I'm going to lose 2500 contacts, 8000 photos, 500 notes, 100 voice memos +++ more. I've PAID for years of Apple iCloud storage where ALL OF THIS IS BACKED UP TO, which has also been locked, hence why I'll lose everything. No access to talk to anyone with any authority. I now rank Apple as 0/5. I still have no solution. The online / phone has blocked the option of me making a genius bar appointment via phone - so more INCONVENIENCE to me, the customer, as I now need to use my time (approx. 1hr round trip) to book an appointment in person. I'm saddened that a company that treats people this poorly has this much power and monopoly.
