We have been going to Hunters Quay and Drimsynie for the last 16 years going at least once a year. Last year we went to Hunters Quay four times and have loved it so much we have now bought a caravan there just about five weeks ago and are loving it. The staff at Argyll Holidays are the best and can't do enough for you.

We have been coming to a few of the parks now for over 10 years and have loved it. the prices however are very very high for families especially when you consider the facilities available and the standard of the lodges. They have had the exact same look and feel for years only now with the addition of a hot tub. The prices are actually now more expensive than centre parks which is very disappointing. Even on last minute holidays when the lodges are going to be empty is disappointing to see there is no special offers.

Staff were really lovely an courteous. Really enjoyed my holiday break, with my Husband and Poppy the Toy Poodle, in Hunter's Quay. The Lodge was lovely. We used the Grill Restaurant a couple of times for carry-outs. The only down side was that we couldn't take the dog into the Restaurant so couldn't have a sit down meal there. We could have sat outside with the dog but as it was March it was too cold to do so. Overall an enjoyable holiday was had.

The complex caters less for persons staying in the Hotel, of which you could not obtain Wifi in the rooms. The shower was not consistent. Service in the restaurant and pub area was poor.

Excellent stay in the Golden Eagle VIP lodge in Apr with 10yr child and dog. The location is quite remote which we particularly choose and the lodge itself was excellent; 3 very large double rooms with 2 ensuite complete with plenty fluffy towels and lovely bedding. Clean and modern throughout with great views and lots of places to walk the dog. Made good use of the hot tub which was lovely and hot in the April temperatures. Facilities onsite were good, with enough to keep the kids entertained and provide reasonably priced meals if you don't want to cook in the lodge, we did a bit of each and cooking facilities in the lodge were also good. Quite a few dogs but all on leads and well behaved with responsible owners, which I was particularly pleased to find as my dog is quite nervous but she soon settled and enjoyed her paddles in Loch Goil. We found the staff were particularly friendly to the kids and very laid back. Overall an excellent site for a family holiday.

The caravan we stayed in was fantastic. We have been staying at your site every year for the last 10 years although this has been in your lodges. Unfortunately you increased the price by £70.00 with no justification for this increase. I also find it staggering that swimming is not included in the Holiday price. Instead of staying in our usual lodge in September we will be staying in a Hilton Lodge for less that £300 with swimming included. My only complaint therefore relates to value for money which I do not believe you are offering. I spoke with a family who stayed the weekend of 9th/10th April and there comment was the exact same as mine - you are overpriced for refreshments and swimming should be included. Thanks

Having visited drymsynie holiday park many times over the last 16 years we have always had a fantastic time ,the staff are so friendly accommodation is excellent you can relax if that's what you want or there is plenty of things to do . We are getting ready for our next visit on the 7th May and booked into a hot tub lodge which after a long working week it's the best way to chill have a swim play carpet bowls ,golf so much to do have tried a few different places Argyll holidays provide the best From the Mc Alinden family

Great site for families. Plenty to do for children. Nice swimming pool. Restaurant was okay but quite a long wait.

I have made my complaint to the management and have made my views , it seems we are not their targetted type of guest . Despite paying eight hundred and ninety nine pounds plus twenty pounds for electric for our 3 night break, it was a huge disappointment . We booked a platinum cabin that had known problems with the water pressure( as per the repair man) this resulted in only luke warm or cold water with the very occasional blast of scolding water, we were told by the repair man we needed to only run the tap very slowly so the water had time to heat up.I made a complaint to the management they are not interested.Having travelled extensively in Scotland this is only the second time we have been very disappointed. The word 'platinum' should not be used to describe cabins that have veiws of other near cabins and cars out of evry single window. Book with care on this site, obviously we are not their targetted market.

Hi there, thanks for the review of your stay at Drimsynie Estate. We're sorry to hear about the issues you had - our Platinum Lodges are very popular and we constantly receive high feedback on the quality of these units. Unfortunately you felt this was not the case so we can only apologise, hope you had a nice holiday otherwise.

We stayed in an Osprey lodge during Christmas 2015. It was quite simply the best holiday we have ever had - period. No exceptions. Any the staff we encountered were just as polite and helpful as the last. Can't mention all of them, but no member of the team ever once walked past us without either asking if we were OK or just saying hello. Place kept well. Lots of good entertainment and activities for the whole family to do... even on Christmas day! All this and not even 2 hours from our front door. Would love to return again, just as soon as circumstances allow!

Made to feel very welcome, stayed in the hotel, very cosy. Met friends staying in one of the villas, so impressed we booked a villa for a new year break.

Stayed at Hunters Quay, Dunoon, which is a superb location. Delighted with the caravan we hired. It was spotlessly clean and had lovely views. On site facilities very good. Would definitely recommend.

This was our 2nd time back at Drumsynie after a wonderful stay last year. This year we couldn't hire our same lodge as it had been upgraded to a hot tube lodge and now out-with our price range. Unfortunately a few things negatively affected our family holiday. Firstly no one told us when booking (or on the website) that renovations were happening outside. I think it would have been common curtsy to say to your guests prior to their arrival. Secondly, we had a poor experience at dining with you - we didn't mind the 50 min wait for food but the attitude of the waiting staff was a real disappointment. For us, with young children the activities package didn't suit our needs and the swimming and soft play was over-priced. We wanted to pay and we go with swimming but forced into a pricing meal/swim offer. Paying extra to have wifi in the lodge we also thought was too costly. Unfortunately these things may affect us coming back next year.

Having been going there for a good few years I was extremely disappointed and disgusted with the cleanlyness of the entire park. Very dirty, noisy through to the early hours of the morning, bear bottles lying around, broken glass around hot tub, could barely see out windows so dirty with hand marks, seriously went down hill over the years, we actually left 4 days early from our holiday and will never return or recommend to any again.
