Ordered a carseat was supposed to arrive today tracking said it was on its way waited all day for it then said there was a problem with my order. Quick enough taking payment but not quick enough delivering items on supposed day. Rang to complain seems my order is missing. How can it go missing between being delivered to store. Still awaiting to find out where my order is. Won't be ordering anytime soon again.

Asda Byker , click and collect and Screen Filthy. I was sent a text with order number on “Your George.com order 75418146 is ready to collect from Byker Store,Unit 5 Newcastle Shopping Park store. Please bring valid ID by Thursday September 24, 2020 to collect your 1 parcels.“ Tried inputting the number 3 times, advised unexpected error go to customer services . Young lady and older lady on desk . Young man outside desk , all staff with no masks ??? I am wearing a mask to protect them . Young girl requested help with my collection on tannoy another lady around 40 ish approached with no mask ??? Another few members of staff passed I counted only two with masks on . What on earth is going ? I understand staff don’t have to wear them it’s their choice , so why do I ? No one is protecting me. I will not be returning to this store for cluck and collect . I know I can shop elsewhere locally and staff are wearing masks . If it’s good enough to be mandatory for me , it would be common courtesy to wear them for me. No one checked my ID either . I did show my phone , hope that’s good enough .

Would not even give one star it that bad ordered last wed paid for name's day delivery on sat ordered all school stuff for kids start back on the Mon sat came and only in item turned up was my iron board bone in of school uniform items called up and was total joke they couldn't understand myself I told them that I paid extra to be delivered on sat all of items quick enough to take money when ordering did not receive emails to sat was delayed so when calling up told as early as Mon which was no good the attitude of call center staff they didn't care I should have been told that items wasn't getting delivered on name date angi not the word I live I live in village and can't travel to get uniform in store Asda get a grip and train your weekend staff to have better manners

I ordered items and paid for them to be delivered on a nominated day which was Thursday 6th August. The items i bought where to be used for a funeral on Friday 7th August (someone i haven't seen for months due to covid19. On 6th August (the day i paid to recieve the items) i recieved an email to say my items would NOT be delivered on my nominated day. I phoned Asda George and spoke to someone and i had to ask the man on the phone 6 times could i speak to a manager, finally i got someone but soon found out it wasn't a manager but a Supervisor, i then asked the Supervisor to put me on the phone to a manager. Finally i got a manager on the phone. I was on the phone for over 1 hour and 50 minutes and spoke to 3 people. I didn't get anywhere with them, after all that time on the phone i was told i would get a call at 8am on Friday 7th, i didn't recieve a call so i phoned them myself and spent another 40 minutes on the phone (so altogether nearly 3 hours in 2 days) to be told i would recieve my parcel today (which is too late). I was offered my delivery charge back on the Thursday and the was told the same thing on the Friday so one of the managers actually lied to me. They offered me £10 E-voucher to use online at George but after all i have been through with the calls and the stress and upset this has caused and i felt like they just didn't care what had happened. I will NOT shop at George again if this is how they treat their customers! It is disgusting!!!

Cancel a order and have to wait 3 to 5 days to get money back and the people on the phone dont even care and they dont listen discusting dont get owt from george terrible company

You charged my card e81 and said 7-9 days for delivery to Ireland. Fair enough. 11 days later order still processing? I contact you to find out what is going on and you send me an email cancelling my order and tell me to replace the order if I’m still interested? Awful customer service. Avoid at all costs. $20 out of pocket due to exchange rate changes.

Ordered a fairly large order of baby clothes all white items and when it came it was someone elses order. Well i have rung 3 times waited in 2 days and still no one has come to collect items so in the meantime i cant get a refund, to say im disappointed is an understatement. On one of the occasions i rang i had terrible trouble in getting the operator to understand the problem lay with Asdas warehouse and not the carrier ggggrrrrr

Ordered four items from George Asda. DPDUK has delivered one item only but the other three items that hasn’t arrived was also signed as delivered. I have been on the phone for more than 30 minutes trying to contact customer service but no answer.

Shocking joke of a company. Give you a delivery day/time and then they don’t show up, no email no text etc. Then say they won’t deliver for another week. When you phone and wait 25 mins to get through and cancel your order, no acknowledgement of any sort. And they have switched off customer service email. Total amateurs, had my money for a month and just don’t care at all. Please never buy anything from them, I will happily pay more elsewhere in future. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

When my order arrived the outside packaging was for the correct address, however the items inside were a completely different order number. I am in Dublin and the order that arrived was for the UK. Can't get through on phone, just a recorded message. Can't go to a store as there are none in the Republic. Trying desperately to contact them without success. Stay well away, a complete joke. I now have to try to find a way to get my money back. Their system is showing my order as delivered, but its not my order!

Ordered two multi packs of black tights, but was sent barely black even though invoice receipt stated black tights. I spoke on the phone with customer services and they agreed to re ship two multi packs of black tights but when the second delivery arrived it contained two multi packs of barely black tights and an invoice receipt that stated black tights. I can’t see how it’s possible to blame this mistake on coronavirus or the lockdown but, no doubt if customer services ever respond they will try to use this as an excuse.

Ordered 4 clothing items in April 20. Returned 3 of the items in the same parcel to my local store and received printed return number slip. Was only refunded for 2 items in the parcel. Contacted customer services who said I will be refunded when I return the item. Couldn't get through to the agent that the item had already been returned. 3 weeks later, still no refund so have had to instigate credit card chargeback. Have used a lot in the past but after this, will never order from them again.

I tried to order few clothes online and was told that due to them trying protect colleagues from coronavirus I am unable to order online in the evening and have to do that in the morning ( cos evening online order can infect them with coronavirus). When I came back in the morning half of the stuff I tried to order were already out of stock

You gave me a gift voucher to say sorry and we are all isolating and no one can leave the house and wanted to buy a new frying pan and wanted to buy it and use my gift card but your website says I can not use it online at the moment and the item I want to buy can not be booked for a click and collect order and so while the coronavirus is going round you want to put your medically vulnerable at risk not happy

I want to complain..i returned a order to you which was collected by hermes on the 31st March..it was received and SIGNED FOR on 3rd April..but i had not received a refund..i had been trying to get through to customer services for a week to find out what was happening but was left in a que for ages..so after near a month with no refund i finally got through to customer services who told me yes my return was received..but then returned to hermes as it was not your own courier!? So you accepted my return and signed for it..had it in your returns department but you could not process the return..so you then took the time to send it back to hermes? I have returned with this courier before so what has changed..why accept and sign for my return..wht not refuse it when it was being delivered. I was told to go to hermes to claim...claim wht exactly..they done their job and delivered my return and it was signed for..am i now expected to lose basically £30! I was told that my issue would be raised and wait for a call or a email..days later nothing..ive even tried contacting you on messenger and again nothing..its absolutely poor and ridiculous. I have shopped with George for years and this treatment is disgusting..by the looks of the recent reviews i am not the only one who appears to be being screwed over and basically left to lose money.

gutted with asda service.paid for a mattress half way through march,for delivery about 1st of may.Got an email on 29th april to say order cancelled.No apology or good reason why after all this time.Now we have to use old mattress for a lot longer.Why leave it so long to tell us. Beware buyers, i should have checked there feedback before i paid.Never again

Prepare yourself for the most ridiculous story, Asda original. DO NOT BOOK ASDA DELIVERY! I booked a delivery on the 17th March for a delivery to be made on 6th April 2020. I waited a whole 3 and a half weeks for my order and never received it. Myself and my family members have severe respiratory problems so have had to rely on deliveries during this pandemic. So the story is as follows. On the day of delivery, I received a text at at 19:38 to say my delivery has arrived. I was delighted as my delivery wasn’t due to be made until 9pm-11pm, so myself and 3 family members went outside with bags ready to collect our shopping. He wasn’t there. We circled the block to look for him incase he’d gotten lost but we couldn’t find him. So I called him, he didn’t pick up, and I texted him and he didn’t reply. So I thought it might have been a mistake and that he would deliver within the time frame given. I waited until 11pm and thought it strange that he hadn’t shown up so I checked the online delivery status which says it was delivered. Being so late, customer service was closed so I decided to give the delivery driver another call, but it kept saying user busy which meant he had blocked my number. So I called on withheld number and he answered with “arghhh yes what?!?!” I asked him politely if he was the asda delivery man and he said that his ‘friend’ had borrowed his phone to make the text. So I asked him nicely to contact his friend because my has had very little food and we were relying on the order so that we could eat. He told me he thinks his friend made the delivery and left it in the lobby... we don’t have a lobby. He told me I should call customer service and I explained to him it was closed and if he could help me I would be very grateful. He THEN told me I should send him a text with my name and address and he would go to work on the morning to issue me a refund. IF he wasn’t the delivery driver, WHY would he have that power?!?! So I called customer service this morning and spoke to a woman named Roselyn. She told me she had to investigate before she could decide what to do. She calls me 5 minutes later telling me the delivery guy was a temp and she finds what happened very strange and she would issue me with a refund because Asda cannot offer me another slot. I then asked if I can file an official complaint and she said about what. Honestly, I don’t know if she was listening but I thought it obvious. She told me talking to her is as far as the official complaint goes and she can’t do anything further to help. She was very rude and her tone was very condescending, she isn’t fit for customer service. I told her I suspect something dodgy is going on and her delivery driver might be pinching deliveries to which she told me that would not be the case and that the food would be taken back to Asda and disposed of. I then asked her then would that mean your driver was dishonest? Because he marked the order as delivered, to which she replied they’ll ‘investigate’. I will never ever order from Asda ever again, and I urge you all not to use them, use their competitors, unless you want to wait weeks to have your order disappear.

Told our order would arrive on Friday, never turned up. Have been trying to track our order since Wednesday but apparently they are 'unable to retrieve information about our package' even though it was despatched on Wednesday! Been trying to call the customer service now for an hour and they are apparently very busy, we don't even know who is delivering our package!
