My wife and I ordered two fire pit grates and two pizza stones for two of our children and spouses. The grates were awesome: high quality and exactly as described. Absoluely spectacular! Both pizza stones unfortunately arrived broken (probably the fault of the delivery service, I'm guessing). That was disappointing, but that's not the full story. I called Ash & Ember customer service, spoke with a very helpful young lady, in in short order received a full refund. Count my wife and me as VERY HAPPY Ash & Ember customers. Things don't always go perfectly in life, but when issues arise (such as with the pizza stones), the true character of a person or company comes to the forefront. And in the case of Ash & Ember, they did a wonderful job addressing the issue.

Ash and Ember honored thier package insurance and my delivery was missing when I went to get it. A large BOX over 58 pounds was gone. They promptly sent another one that I have not opened yet. But they werre very professional and understanding. I suggest any latge or heavy items have a special door to door delivery with a signature, so that the shipping company in this case FEDEX does it correctly.

I placed an order and realized I had ordered the wrong one just a few minutes afterwards. Send an email tried to change my order. You guys said it already shipped. No way you’re that fast. I can make this one work, but I really wanted the other one. it was my fault that you guys did not try to help solve the problem. I haven’t opened the box yet probably gonna order something different from someone else.

A confused company with inept representatives [Marion for one} that offers discounts and then when you try to order says they did not offer the discount. Difficult to know whether these people are stupid, inept, or just plain scammers.

The fire pit works really well, the only complaint is the wire mesh lid doesnt fit well. It's not round like the fire pit. it kinda works but isnt great at all!

The campfire grill is better than expected. I own a steel fabricating business so I know good craftsmanship. The welds are great, the pieces fit together as they should. I haven’t had a chance to use it but I’m sure it will work perfectly as I planned.

I called to check on the status of the bench that I had ordered because the order was passed due and I hadn't received any delivery update status, and the receptionist answered with another name other than Ash and Ember. That was disconcerting because I thought that I might have been scammed ! Periodic updates about delivery would have been appreciated, especially since I paid extra for delivery service, otherwise I would have given 5 stars beause the bench is gorgeous, beautifully constructed with high quality teak.
