My car, which is under Audi motor plan, has been standing out of action for over 6 months now due to a failed part. Communication from Audi is that the part has been ordered, but that they have no ETA. Over the last 6 months they have communicated ETAs more than 5 times, but every time on the date of the ETA, it moves on. No matter what question I ask them, their rehearsed statement is that they are monitoring the situation, and will give me more information when they have it. This has been going on for months now. I am losing depreciation on my car, insurance costs, storage cost, as well as the cost of the motorplan that I paid for but can't use. I asked whether I can find someone else to try and repair the car, and they stated that if I do and something goes wrong, the motor plan does not cover it. I have escalated it to the office of the MD of Audi South Africa, but they can give me nothing more than the above rehearsed statement. I have asked to escalate the matter further, and they state that it can be escalated no further than them. I am stuck with a broken car, under Audi motor plan, which Audi has not been able to repair for 6 months, and which I can not repair elsewhere. I want a resolution, and I want fair treatment. It is unreal how these large companies can get away with stuff like this.

The design and engineering on an Audi A5 S-Line Black Edition are surprisingly bad. I had a Merc GLA AMG for 5 years before this, which cost half as much as the Audi on monthly contract hire with the same profile. The merc had a few flaws but they were minor and you accepted them because it was a low-cost vehicle and none of them were particularly aggravating. Mercedes also made an effort to try and resolve them, which Audi didn’t. The Audi isn’t a low-cost vehicle, so to have these same flaws (and more), most of which are terrible design flaws, is frankly unacceptable. Here is a short list of its flaws Auto dip headlight system doesn’t work so you will constantly dazzle other drivers on the road Air noise always present from driver’s door even after a visit to the main dealer to resolve it Rear reversing camera is cited in a terrible position so it is always dirty even on dry roads and thus serves no purpose at all Gearbox is very slow to change in auto mode, and when it does it jumps two gears If your expecting performance you’ll will be disappointed, it is not a quick car The tires are very low profile and have a tendency to puncture even from shallow pot holes so beware The tyres also wear badly so you’ll be lucky if you get 10,000 miles out of them The rims are a stupid design which makes them very susceptible to curbing and this likely also contributes to the side wall punctures mentioned above when you hit even shallow pot holes According to the Main dealer this car is also very susceptible to vermin damage, as the main dealer charged nearly £600 for a repair that should have been covered under the warranty

6th week this week with out a 2 year old Audi Q7 recovery process is fantastic and reliable, not much to be said for the lack of excitement with returning the vehicle. Parts are on order from Germany, then another part on order from Germany. Basically they have admitted fault when putting the car back together. "We broke a part when putting back together" (more parts from Germany )incompetence highly skilled Audi mechanic's? Regarding all the other parts ordered surely you would actually locate the issues and order all together 🙄 but to find out they have actually damaged a part on putting back together is diabolical. WE CAN'T WAIT TO GET RID OF THE AUDI NOW. Oh but remember it's out of their control really?.CAFFYNS EASTBOURNE AUDI you have admitted you broke the last part. Absolutely laughable we will never return to this shambles of a place. The car is so great they won't even buy off us 😂 even they know they don't want dogdy mechanics working on it. And even better a large family (hence why 7seats ) they gave us a five seater to go away on our travels. Can't write it

After years of hard work I thought I would treat myself to my dream car. I ordered a brand new A1, on finance. Paying a small fortune only to be let down time and time again. The car broke down 5 months in with less than 2k miles on the clock. It has been in and out of Birmingham Audi, who I must say have THE WORST customer service skills I have ever come across. I was left without a car for 8 days, no sign of a courtesy car and no word from Audi who I called time and time again. The car has been recovered 3 times with the same software issues. I have attempted to resolve this, paying a monthly fee for a car not fit for purpose. There has been no follow up from Audi in regards to rejecting the car. They are very quick to take your money but drag their feet when it comes to providing the service you are paying for. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. POOR AT ALL LEVELS.

We were miss sold our Audi Etron. We paid £8500 deposit and are paying £500. Our car has been sat at Wheatley Hall Road, Doncaster for 3 months now awaiting for us to pay £7712.00 worth if repairs and we have no resolution. Appalling service. We have no car, I catch 2 buses and 2 trains to work and from work while our £59,000 car sits on a forecourt. Audi Finance ask us to report them to the Ombudsman. Shocking service all round.

Marshall Audi Bexley. only spent shy of 55k on a 4000 mile vehicle was supposed to be a god day its a treat right. its not even that hard generally the Audi cars do the talking staff are merely robots to do do the transaction which is where the problems lie. cant be bothered approach push the sale all Beit a slight issue not even hard to deal with they rarely answer the phone ignore you, ignore emails, disrespect you in my opinion and generally don't care. whatever happen to customer service. DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE its a shame that Audi allow these Muppets to brand themselves under there badge I'm sure if they new about there practices they would revoke the selling power. incompetent tossers

Shocking company and inadequate customer service team. Only time I got a reply from customer services was my messing though twitter. They usually reply quite quickly, diverting the query to the technical team which took a few days to reply. I replied to them and then nothing, so back to twitter, back to the technical team and then nothing. That was 9 March now it’s 18 March. Clearly they don’t rate customer services, or are so arrogant they don’t want or need the business.

Audi recovery service said one thing from one person and another from a second person. Brake lights coming on but car is covered by Audi warranty with Audi Recovery Service. Called up and confirmed, yes it's covered but the tax has expired - I had not received the letter to do the tax. First person told me I could process the tax payment and then call back and the car would be covered still. The second person (30 minutes later) said this is no longer true and they've changed their terms and conditions. Upon asking why they've changed their tune within 30 minutes, the second person kept saying "I understand, I've double checked this." The second person used terms like "as far as I'm aware" and "to the best of my knowledge" when talking about what the coverage terms & conditions entail. I asked for actual facts of the T&C regarding the rest of its policy and she continue to say "to the best of my knowledge" - you are a representative of the company talking on the T&C of the policy. I expect you to know the actual terms and conditions - not just to the best of your knowledge. The now want to charge £170 to drive the car 4 miles to the Audi dealership.

I bought a car two years ago and recently my oil needed to be changed. I tried to book it in four different garages. Every garage had said that my car was not registered to the DVLA. When I did some digging I found that my number plate did not match with the registration on the paper work. They had mixed up two letters and nobody had noticed. I rang up the dealership where I bought it (Oldham) and the manager never spoke to me nor rang me back; he was too busy. I went to the shop floor to get my plate changed and again no manager would come to see me and they used a sales person to try and appease me. He called the mistake forgivable and downplayed the inconvenience. The unimaginable possibilities that could have potentially happened if I had ever been in a traffic accident or been pulled over were dismissed and not seen as important. I was so unhappy with this service and lack of acknowledgement of a huge mistake on their behalf.

Approximately, 36 months ago I requested to change my seasonal tyres for the All-season premium, tyres for a Q5 with Audi Reigate. The customer service representative name Stefano, was my point of contact during the visit. I made it clear to him that I will be driving in Europe for business hence why I would like to have the all-season tyres fitted. Upon checking the availability of the tyres, he booked the car for the fitting and gave me the cost which was under £1000 for the 4 tyres. The car was fitted with new tyres and they took my original tyre away for "recycling". I drove off without doubt that the tyres were the right all-season. Recently I was driving in Germany coming to the UK, at a spot check the German police checked the tyres and after they informed me that the tyres weren't winter tyres. I responded by saying Audi sold me these tyres as all-season tyres, therefore they are winter tyres. To support their advice they accompanied me to the highway garage that sold and fitted tyres, showed me the difference between my tyres and all-season tyres. Cut to the main point, Audi sold me fake all-season tyres. when I returned to the UK Audi Reigate to make a complaint, I was told by a customer service advisor that, Stefona wasn't with Audi. Furthermore, she implied that I might have changed the tyres within that 36 months and my complaint wasn't valid enough for her consideration. She kept saying those were Audi company protocols. To add to these insults, I had booked the tyre replacement for the December 23, 2021. Even during a telephone conversation in booking the replacement, mentioned to the customer service named Chelsea Chapman, my tyres are all-season, therefore, would the same tyres because I travel for work to Germany, all-season would be ideal for German legality. Having met the customer service who assumed I was lying that I bought the tyres that were meant to be all-season tyres, I have cancelled my booking today 22/12/2021. How my complaint was handled is unfair immoral and against consumer rights. She even stated that there is no evidence that I bought the tyres. When I asked her to check my visit track records, she found the receipt of the purchase of the trees, but still refused to apologise and withdraw her statement that I was lying about being sold incorrect tyres. I was left helpless and disappointed by the noncompliant displayed by the service provided.

I purchased a brand new Audi Q5 hybrid from Audi Wakefield at the end of November. I’m from Glasgow but Audi Glasgow couldn’t provide the colour I wanted. After I drove it home, I discovered that the fast charge connector in the car wasn’t working. I took it to Audi Glasgow and they offered me a service appointment on 11 January to look at this fault. After a lot of calls to Glasgow, Wakefield and Audi UK, I have a revised appointment on 16 Dec. This is a brand new car which is not working - how bad can after sales service get from a supplier. Apparently it is because the Glasgow and Wakefield are different franchises and they have no relationship with each other. I thought the link was the badge on the front of my car but it would appear not. This is the worst support I have ever experienced.

Awful company. Make up as many lies as possible about the condition you return your vehicles in, and when they evaluate it bully there point across with absolutely no evidence. Claim wheel nuts are missing etc etc but when questioned on these topics they miraculously find them. Don't get anything from this firm and advise everyone to avoid like the plague.
