Linda, Thank-you for your comment.We value our customers and their feedback. I have passed your comment on to our product and development team. The "build your own" is in reference to the fact the emergency preparedness pouches are delivered in discreet packaging (a brown box) and the customer could take the pouches and "build your own" emergency kit by dividing up the pouches into various emergency kit options such as, a backpack,72 Hour kit, RV, Camping Trailer etc. to meet your own emergency preparedness needs. “The seasoning in the chili mix is just right, and the Cornbread muffin is heaven! It's more like a corn muffin cake! One serving of Chili and Cornbread filled me up! We do wonder if the makers of the dehydrated beans can double soak them before cooking them and dehydrating them. They do have a gaseous effect on some of the family. (We soak and rinse twice, (first soak and rinse is two to four hours then clean water and soak until morning,) all the dry beans before cooking, even do this to the split peas overnight before making split pea soup. Add some BBQ Hickory seasoning to the split pea's don't need meat then!) Thank you.”

“A notice about the delay in items and why the shipment was delayed would have helped in an email from AF. Partial product delivery is very good. As we said, it was the delay, which we found out by calling the Office's main phone number. Thus lack of communication made us worry. Thus having to wait 2 weeks on the products, i.e. White Bread Pail (fabulous price for the sale, our once in a lifetime find I think,) manufacturing more this we understand. Just be nice if someone told us instead of us calling to find out.”

“What a fantastic company! My order arrived quickly with a hand written Thank You card and a little surprise gift. I was really surprised and impressed. It made me feel like I was welcome and appreciated as a customer. This alone made me want to order from them again. Customer appreciation is virtually a lost value these days, but Augason Farms knows how to do it.”

“I wish the packs I had ordered had come with the variety listed on the website and understand you have the right to change due to what is in stock, but 3 / 4 different items were substituted. That seems excessive. But was still a great deal”

Hi Jessica, Thank-you for taking the time to reach out to us. Based on the situation you described, it appears at some point the vacuum seal protecting the product became compromised. We are more than happy to replace this under our warranty program. If you could please provide the name of the product and your name and address this is shipping to, we will process this replacement once we receive that information. I have sent you a private reply with my email address. The replacement product will ship within 2-3 business days. Then arrive to you 3-5 days after that from UPS. “Everything arrived just as planned. Everything looks well sealed and my family has tried a couple of items as test runs and they are delicious. Very professional as they call to make sure the shipping address is correct since I shipped to a different address than my billing address. I liked that a lot! Excellent company!”
