Window replaced on Friday (4pm) due to being vandalised at the vets and it had shattered again by Saturday (10am). Company refused any idea that it could be their responsibility despite the fact that prior to this the window had been fine for 8 years. Having to pay excess again!

Switchboard operator was friendly easy to talk to, took every thing in hand so I had nothing to worry about. Windscreen fitter (Kevin) phoned to say what time he would be at my home, and he was there at the time he said, he was also friendly, easy to talk to and thorough in the job he did. I am very impressed in the service I received.

I was happy with the standard of service throughout the process of replacing my damaged windscreen, from the initial contact to the fitting of the new screen. The fitter was professional, informative and a pleasure to deal with. Excellent.

Leeds Hub. Staff cheerful, polite and helpful. Attended to promptly and kept informed all the time I was there. A new windscreen was fitted extremely efficiently with no mess or inconvenience. An extremely good job all round and time scales kept. "Thank You" to Technician - Shaun Longdon - an excellent ambassador for Auto Windscreens.

They are my insurers preferred option, i found their booking procedures satisfactory and they notified me the day before with my appointment time,as they said they would. I was greeted by a fitter on arrival, I asked could I see the new screen,he said "why" well I replied "because I've paid for it and I wish to make sure it's a vehicle manufacturer windscreen", normal I would have thought for someone having a screen fitted to a relitivly newish car, but obviously not. I then said "where would you like me to park my car for you to work on, would you like me to park it in here where you have the new screen" he said "no you're not allowed because you're not insured to move the car on our property" well I thought I think you will find I am , I've just driven it here and I have a full policy. Anyway fair enough I didn't want to make a fuss, so I said how are you going to get the car in here he replied " I'll drive it in" I thought I don't want to be awkward but I asked "are you insured to drive my car " my loved and cherished car. I thought a reasonable request. He said " of "course we are" this reply was then echoed by a colleague walking past whose tone of voice towards me made me feel awkward and a nuisance. So I just said don't talk to me like that I'm a customer I'm just asking reasonable questions. Anyway the work was carried out satisfactory in the end , so that's good!! But I don't understand where has good old fashioned politeness gone, you would have thought I was some youth turning up at some club with all this alpha male ego stuff floating around.

I was directed to Auto Windscreens via my insurer. The booking system was efficient and I was given an appointment on the day I wanted. On arrival at the Martlesham (Ipswich) depot I was greeted by a friendly employee who verified that the windscreen held in stock was of the correct type. We agreed a time for collection and my wife and I walked to the nearby retail park for some shopping. We returned at the time agreed and the work was completed and the car ready. Fantastic service!

I needed to replace the rear windscreen of my Rover 75 after I discovered that one of the heating element connectors had become brittle, detached and that it could not be repaired. Unfortunately, after his searches, Martin, the manager at AW, Stacey Bushes in Milton Keynes, discovered that the type required, i.e. with TV and sat.nav connectors, is no longer available for my Connoissuer SE specification saloon. However, he offered to provide a 'fit only' service if I could find a matching replacement. In due course, I managed to find a replacement screen on ebay and after requesting more detailed photos from the seller, Martin helped me to confirm that it was indeed the right one for my vehicle. The replacement screen was fitted by Keith the day after I called the workshop but he did not fit the chrome trim as several of the fixing clips were either missing or snapped. These will be fitted once I receive some replacements: also found on ebay. I have been most impressed by Martin and his team for the service and assistance provided for what must have been a relatively small job and the fact that Keith, in particular, did not install the trim, cover up the damaged clips and so giving me the opportunity to make good.

A guy called Les came out what brilliant and chatty guy did a brilliantly job well pleased I would recommend u go to Auto windscreen rather than auto glass as my rear view mirror kept dropping off after my car windscreen was replaced from auto glass and I went back in twice to sort it eventually had to give to local garage as it came back off after a week. This ntime the screen cracked auto windscreen told me what the problem was as the metal clips weren't pushed back when fitting the mirror that's why it kept coming off thanks once again highly recommended

I have cancelled the service and they have agreed to issue a refund for the deposit. 10 days later and after a multiple phone calls I still have not received the money back. I was now told that it may take up to 15 working days. I got home today and instead of the refund I got invoice for cancellation fee. Not only they have taken my money but now demand more money. Avoid at all cost and don't pay them any money upfront!

Windscreen damaged last Tuesday. Connected via my insurance company and booked in for Thursday. Received e-mail and texts confirming booking & received a text on Thursday to say fitter was on his way. He arrived about 15 minutes later and fitted the new screen in around 45 minutes. No fuss or bother; all very smooth and straightforward. I am in Staffs and the fitter was Scott.
