Read a lot of negative reviews and was very worried about letting them replace the windscreen of my nearly new car. Since my insurer did not allow me any other choice i had to use Auto windscreen. What a pleasure, the day I booked, i got a text confirming the date, the day before the date of replacement I got a text confirming the 2 hr slot. The man 'Luis' his name was, gave me a ring confirming that he would be coming in 15 mins on the day of replacement. Absolute professional service, polite, replaced screen in about 2 hrs, cleaned the screen and the car dashboard, took all the rubbish away, gave a receipt for lifelong warranty of Windscreen. Could not have asked for anything better. I would certainly recommend them to any of my friends.

Rear window of my son's van was smashed on a Wednesday. This is the company our insurers use so we had no choice in the matter. The van is used for work and it could not be used with a broken window as tools need to be carried. I spent nearly 3 days with a phone attached to my head trying to get a repair arranged. Finally got an appointment arranged on the Saturday for the following Tuesday. A total of 6 working days lost. A complaint was raised and the magnificent sum of £20 was offered in compensation.

My phone call to Auto Windscreens was answered promptly 2 days ago and an appointment was made for a replacement windscreen to be installed in my car at my home address today. Steve from Inverness arrived at 10.00 a.m. this morning as arranged and 3/4 hour later I have a new windscreen for my car. I am totally satisfied with the exceptional and professional service that I have received and I will recommend Auto Windscreen to other people.

absolutely bad service didn't replace my windscreen properly when it is raining the water is coming inside my interior and destroying everything called about 5 times they say the same over again not satisfied with the service.need to do something or going to take this matter further

5 months after a completey disastrous service with no shows and 4 attempts to fit my windscreen without a rattle ( still rattling) my windscreen rim is been held on by black tape until fixed.....do not use this company ....use auto glass..

Booked for a replacement windscreen 4th May 2016 and told that it would be 31st May at the earliest. They told me that i would receive a text the day before from 2:30pm and a phone call on the day, when they are on their way to me. I had neither of these. The guy came inspected my car as usual. And it was only until he took the new pane of glass out of his van to tell me that they had ordered the wrong pane of glass for my car. He then suggested to re book an appointment as he couldn't do anything and it wasn't his fault. I felt disgusted by how the guy wasn't going to and resolve this themselves and his attitude wasn't great either. After a settled debate he packed up and left. I got straight on the phone to their call centre and told them what happened that i wasn't happy. All they could do is apologise (which to me isn't good enough). They re booked for the 20th june but i requested to have first refusal if a cancellation came up. They phoned me the next day to say they could do the job for the 9th, which i accepted, but i didn't want the same guy who came because the lack of good customer service. Well today is 9th June. I had not received a text to estimate when the job was being done. I phoned the call centre once again to establish what time the work will be carried out. The woman said it would be between 2-4pm and that i would have a phone call when they are on their way. Only at 4.03pm did the same guy turn up but didn't get of the van for a further 5 minutes. He knocked on and had a stupid grin on his face. Asked for my keys and told me that the job lot would be done in 45 minutes. During the work being carried out, the guy was on the phone several times, some of those calls were personal as i overheard. The job didn't get finished until 5.15pm . I wasn't happy and thought the guy was cocky. I will not be using this service and will not recommend to anyone either. Very poor service and will complaining to head office about this issue.

Absolutely shocking service, wouldn't use this company at all , only useing through insurance cover , let me down 4 times now by not turning up , two days off work , sat around all day and never got in touch with me to tell me they wasn't coming, put a complaint in and told me that it would definitely be completed on the scheduled date , never turned up , what a shower ,still waiting for some kind of service from them after nearly two months and still not got my work done yet , would give them no stars if I could.

Fantastic service. The engineers turned up at the allotted time and worked quickly and very efficiently. They were very polite and well mannered and explained the 'aftercare' process extremely well. I have used Autowindscreens in the past and it is good to know that their service continues to deliver such high quality.

The whole experience was so easy from arranging the appointment time to the two employees, Paul and Dougie where excellent, they chatted away while fitting the screen. I can thoroughly recommended the belfast depot for service and craftsmanship.

This is the most ridiculous company i've ever had to deal with, customer service is disgraceful and timings are even worse. I would never use this company in a million years if it wasn't for my insurance company. I had a serious leak in my car after they had changed the windscreen, water was pouring in all over my carpet. They refused to take responsibility even though I never had any problems before they touched my car, it turned out they hadn't put the seals back on properly and there was a clear hole for water to come through. I would not recommend anyone to use this company.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Hastings direct referred me to this company as my rear windscreen was smashed. I made the claim at 8:30pm and was told I would receive a call at 9am following day to book an appointment. Nobody called me. At 1pm I called and after being on hold for 30mins I was told they can't book me in for at least 4 days! I requested a refund immediately. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Chris from the Leicester depot came over and replaced the windscreen on my Honda Integra Type R. He arrived on time with the genuine oem windscreen. Very happy with the work, Gave good advice and took his time doing a good job. Thanks Chris!

Paid Excess, £75, as Lloyds Car Insurance auto forwards calls to them, but you DO NOT have to use them. They said someone would call me to make an appointment. 5 days went past before they bothered to call, too late, already got Lloyds to instruct Auto Glass to do the job, had to pay £75 excess to Auto Glass and can not get Auto Windscreen to refund. You do nothing but HOLD HOLD HOLD HOLD for their phones. Looks like they cannot cope, so don't use, ask your insurance company if you can go elsewhere. Checkout Auto Windscreen facebook feedback, full of complaints!!!

our windscreen had a crack and so we rang our insurance company SAGA and paid our excess £75 and booked a replacement windscreen, we were told that the earliest date was 3 weeks!! not happy we accepted. The day before the appointment my wife received 2 text messages the first saying the name of the fitter and what time to expect him, the second was to say a different fitter and a different time, anyway we were expecting a fitter on the day. The day arrived and a phone call from the fitter to say we were his fifth job and he would be with us in the afternoon. The afternoon arrived no fitter though, then a phone call from SAGA saying he will not be coming and another appointment for the following week!!! Why the fitter could not ring and appologise himself rather than hide behind our insurer is just another reason to avoid Auto Windscreens and SAGA need to review their approved repairers

Technician Dave, efficient and personable, rang to advise time of arrival, He was at my home at the time expected and did a first class job. Happy to recommend Auto Windscreens.
