Absolutely terrible company my pension was supposed to be in my bank account on the 1st of November 2024. They keep telling my 7-10 days it will be in your account it’s December the 11th still nothing! Now I’ve had more lies, the money needs to be re calculated! What a load of rubbish nonsense! Just give me my money! Not possibly but Definitely the worst company I’ve had the displeasure of dealing with. Stay well away people! Absolutely shocking I’m so angry! Customer service is a joke ! To stay away people I have warned you

Terrible experience…. Not one to write a negative review as I don’t like doing it but the food was terrible and the staff were rude . The sydney food scene is so competitive, I suggest these people take good hard look at how they run things

Terrible, terrible customer service, belittling agents is something I’ve read and it’s not wrong, trying to sort cover and the agent was asking very personal questions with zero relevance, absolutely disgusting company. Avoid!

Try to cancel my house insurance and the stupid answer system takes you round and round in circles. I hate this company. I have already cancelled my direct debit so I don't care any more and will not waste another minute of my time with this company..

We made an official written complaint about Aviva about a number of issues. One of the complaints referred to damage caused to a roof made by a Surveyor that Aviva sent out to us. The Complaints Dept simply refused to answer our complaints. Disgraceful company. The Claims Dept are very untrustworthy. This was all extremely stressful, which included phonecalls to Aviva for 18 consecutive work days. Do not use this company. Onwards to the Ombudsman.

We put a claim in for a kitchen roof that leaked owing to the record amount of rainfall in Sept 2024. Originally they agreed there was enough rainfall to call it a 'wet storm' and put the claim to the next stage. They then sent a Surveyor out and on his arrival he said the claim will not be put through, this was before he even inspected the roof. He said there was not enough wind! Then, without permission and asking him not to, he climbed on the roof, and then caused more damage. Then said it was all wear and tear. We were on the phone 18 consecutive work days, for hours and hours each day, to be told different reasons for declining the claim. Over 25 hours of calls. They also admitted no liability for the extra damage caused by someone they sent out. The Managers at Claims failed call backs for over a week and when they eventually did call they denied everything, saying somethings didn't actually happen despite us having witnesses. This is the home of a rece tly widowed, very elderly, vulnerable and disabled person. The Claims Dept showed absolutely no compassion or care whatsoever. After we made an official complaint about it all, the Claims Complaint team almost blamed us for wasting their time! The entire thing was a quite horrific experience, and extremely stressful, day after day. I have to say that Customer Services were very nice, and Mangers in that Dept called it "unacceptable" and "unbelievable". Unfortunately they have no say in the Claims Dept.! Do not insure with this company as they will try anything to decline a claim if it involves any sort of roof leak. We also believe they are untrustworthy

Strongly advise not to buy Bonds for your kids from Aviva. Trying to cash them is taking months despite hundreds of calls, emails etc. Delay after delay due to their clerical mess ups.

Got a quote for new insurance and put my old address on by mistake which was my mums address they asked me to send in document which was log book bank statement and driving licence all with the same address which I did then aviva refused to insure me saying I was a risk. Can't even ring them it's all online yet insurance prices are sky high. Going down hill aviva you used to be top class very disappointed

Shocking customer service. Been trying for almost 8 weeks to close a Bond account but still to no avail. Spoke to about 20 different people spent hours on calls, no reply to emails not even a reply from the complaints department they don't even open the emails. Worse customer service iv ever received from Aviva and will never recommend them.

Travel insurance from nationwide absolute rubbish. They used to use UK insurance who were great and helpful. Now they use aviva who are totally rubbish . Call centre just trying to be difficult at every turn. Am thinking of canceling my bank account I'm so annoyed. Will never use aviva for anything now

I applied for a claim to cancel my holiday, but only for half the cost (just the flight) due to medical reasons. I was asked to provide a letter from my GP, which I did, yet my claim was still rejected. The reason given was that the GP should have explicitly stated I was "not fit for travel," even though the letter detailed my illness and its cause. If a doctor confirms the illness, there should be no need for further confirmation regarding fitness to travel. I paid for the GP letter, but my case was still denied. This is extremely disappointing and feels unfair coming from Nationwide Travel Insurance. I have been paying monthly fees for years without making a claim, and now, when I need assistance, my claim is being rejected. Additionally, as Nationwide uses Aviva as a third-party insurer, it seems they are not handling claims fairly. I'm very unhappy with the way this has been managed.

Weeks of waiting and not a very nice person dealing with the issue and very patronising and impolite... Today it's the 42 days since I made the claim. Awful experience.

Aviva cannot be trusted. They create their own review websites and do shady deals with website hosts to display 5/5 reviews. Go to any other unrelated review website and, for some strange reason, the reviews are very poor. You'd think this would be illegal, but no.

Awful experience, if a car drives on wrong side of road into you, but is with same insurance company, they settle it as a 50/50 fault, and they will refuse to look at black box, police reports, first on response, they admitted they won’t look into it even tho the drive admitted fault Extremely unhappy with this insurance company
