“Same opinion/ experience as other reviews really, things arriving extremely creased, £9.00 order and to return so you're left out of pocket just to try something (return cost does not need to cost this I'm sure and most do free returns or cheaper leaving customers with no choice but to conclude its a possibly a scam to get some money out of customers even if they return) ,poor quality at times, returns portal sometimes doesn't work probably so you can't generate a label (possibly deliberately to make you give up and just keep it). Bad service/ experience is not the word.”

“The returns policy is a joke from this company i was within 14 days of receiving my order but their returns portal had locked me out, after advice from a customer service member i returned the goods manually, only to be emailed to say i had been issued a gift card which is not what i was expecting as i was entitled to a refund according to my understanding which is when the headache came. My advice for everyone... your delivery note says 14 days of receipt therefore legally you have 14 days from the day you receive the goods not the date of your order. If you make this clear to them that they are providing different information in different places, you will get your money back. Do not back down, this is key, they will repeatedly tell you of their 14 day policy stated on the website so you give up, however the delivery note sent out with your order on company headed paper states 14 days from receipt which means receiving the goods this is also part of online/distant selling regulations (mine did at the time of end of May this year) keep going and don't back down, you will get a refund as I did. This company is scamming people and cheating you out of money however legally they will have to refund you if you are within 14 days of receiving the goods.”

“It was a pleasant experience when it came to ordering. However, when it came to the delivery side of things I was absolutely disgusted. First of all my delivery went to someone else's house and I wasn't notified by the courier. I was given coordinates for a house that isn't even located on or near my road. When I got in touch with customer services I kindly explained my situation and asked for a refund or for them to dispatch my item again. Unfortunately, when they responded I was told it was out of their hands practically hinting there is nothing they can or want to do about it. I am disappointed that this has happened as I had a lovely experience in the past.”

“Poor fitting clothes all around. I’ve tried to order from here several times and been disappointed each time, plus the return fee is extortionate. £65 down due to a missing item from my last order and customer services were not helpful at all. They made me jump through hoops and then told me I am outside of the return period for the other item in the order even though I was waiting for a response from the customer service team. The clothes aren’t even that good to justify the hassle.You’re better off using AS0S, H&M etc if you want an easy transaction.”

“Absolutely disgusting. I’ve paid delivery, Returns delivery and another £2.50 for not using the returns portal even though it wouldn’t let me. The item I had orders was a piece of tar and looked nothing like the photo advertising it. Avoid Avoid Avoid! Total ripped off!!!!”

“Shocking that you have to pay for return delivery, UK tax and outward delivery (that one I can understand!) And they state this is clear on the website but I did not read that UK tax would not be refunded or that returns werent free. It has cost be nearly £10 to try on and return a dress that was massive and too much material, despite ordering my usual size. Do not touch this online company with a barge pole as other retailers provide free returns and no taxes. I live in the UK so not sure what this is. Avoid!! And please do not respond to this with the usual reply that's it's clearly stated on theor website and returns portal, which u only read when retuning so its not an informed decision, (as is their go-to line for commenting on all the bad reviews) I commented on Insta and they deleted it! Shocking. Clearly taking their customers for absolute fools!! This should be in bold massive writing to let customers know they will spend nearly £10 on nothing if they return an item!! Plenty of other retailers to use so avoid AX rip off Paris!”

“Avoid!!!!. Took me ages to get a refund. They gave me a voucher which I didn’t ask for. It was weeks before I finally got my refund after many emails back and forth and they charge stupid amount for postage.”

“I have had an AX dress bought from new look which looks lovely .Purchased a different one from AX itself .Was dreadfully creased and creases haven’t dropped out after 3 days on a hanger .Now paying £6 to return .WONT buy another”

“Had to chase for a refund. Got PayPal on the case as I am done with this company. Making you pay the best part of £5.00 to return the item is over priced and no mention of this at purchasing. Items aren't the best quality, very thin material and not a quality finish. The material was full of static and stuck to you. Removed app and won't be using them again. Total rip off..”

“Absolute scam artists Absolute scam artists. Placed an order last January. Quality of the clothes is shocking, don’t look like pictures, complete waste of money. Couldn’t return due to having Covid so ended up with a voucher. Spent over a year trying to use the voucher, every time receiving appalling, poor fitting clothes. Absolute scam having to pay £4.95 for returns every time. Basically over £140 straight down the drain. Customer service reps are as helpful as a chocolate tea pot. I suggest you avoid like the plague.”

“If I could leave 0 I would......there is no free return false advertisement. The quality is poor......never would I purchase from the company, I wish I had read reviews first. I'm stuck with a blazer I don't like, no point returning they will take more money from me or I won't receive the refund”

“I would put zero if I could. This is an awful company to deal with for online shopping. I ordered a longline gilet, I checked the sizing online. The item came and it was too small & not the size indicated, they have sizing issues for starters. Then, they charge you for delivery, which matches other online retailers, BUT they charge you for shipping back at quite a cost via the post office AND for shipping another item to replace, should you choose to order another size ( which, of course, I didn't) I have spent almost £10 in shipping and have no item of clothing !!! It's not the way other retailers do it. When I approached customer services, they regurgitate the same message and showed no customer care whatsoever. Please don't buy from them or you just may be well out of pocket like me.”

“Ordered a new coat for my wife for Christmas- arrived damaged (this happens, so no major drama). Ordered her another one so it didn't go out of stock while the other one goes back and its got exactly the same damage! They are then claiming itll take between 14 and 21 days to refund me. AVOID!”
