“I checked the website for availability of the items I purchased and all were available , I went to collected the with 5 mins of arrival , staff were helpful and friendly , asked if I need help in loading the car.”

“I wish I had read these ratings first before I got B & Q to install a part kitchen. They are appalling. I agree with lots said on the 1 star reviews. THEY ARE IRRESPONSIBLE. THEIR BUSINESS STANDARDS ARE VERY POOR. They don't want to know about any problem's, once you have paid for the job & refuse to engage in any discussion re-money. You have to pay all up front .In my case I had to delay when my husband became ill which then meant I had to wait another 5 1/2 months .So it was 11 1/2 months after paying that I get the job done.--except that the sink unit door was the wrong one--that took a further 6 weeks to arrive. I had modified some of the work because of my husbands health but getting them to pay me the money back has been very difficult and stressful. I wrote all the costs down --it was obvious that I had overpaid by a huge amount--I sent a letter stating all this Recorded Delivery asked for a reply in 2 weeks--completely ignored. Up to that no one wanted to know when I said the final bill couldn't be right- most of the staff are (always different) so it was so difficult to communicate and receive any customer service whatsoever as no one deal's with the money at all. After a major tussle I have got £1214 .00 returned which is £200.00 less than I made it --never an apology or statement saying exactly what they are reimbursing.Their bills are lengthy ,pages not totaled (13 pages in last instance many things unidentifiable & very open to misuse & abuse as I realised when I made myself go through it that there were some things I had never had. .In comparison with a friends kitchen done by a reputable company the comparisons were remarkably in the other companies favour. Dont Use B & Q”

“From start to finish B&Q have been amazing!!!! Fran designed the kitchen and has been my rock throughout. The goods arrived when they should have with a call to confirm date and time etc. The Homefit team called me to confirm start dates and details about the fitters the week before the fit began. Wayne, Simon, Daz, Dave and Sam were brilliant, arrived as I was told at 8.30, cleaned up their mess every day and their work ethic was brilliant. I couldn't believe how much work was done the first day, with the plasterer, Sam, not leaving until 6.45pm. By the end of day 2 the carcasses were all in place. End of day 3 all the appliances and the flooring was in. End of day 5 the entire kitchen was done, just a door missing which was fitted the following Tuesday. Yet again, a call to advise when the door would be delivered and the time Daz was coming to install! I cannot express how grateful both myself and my husband, Paul, are for the work they have done. Absolutely brilliant. The kitchen is beautiful, no snagging to mention and the whole experience has gone far smoother than I could have imagined. Even the guys who came to take away all the rubbish were messaging me times etc and were early to take away all the rubbish. I arrived to work today to receive an email from Fran asking how it all went, as she was on holiday throughout the fit, fantastic customer service!!! I have no qualms about recommending B&Q homefit team to anybody who is considering have a new kitchen installed!!! Well done everybody, you have our eternal gratitude for an excellent job. My kitchen is my new "Happy Place"”

“First of all. I'm not IT friendly and it's took loads of effort to post this review. Well worth it for the service i renewed at the Durham branch off Pauline Allan and Kenny. Had loads of trouble sorting out chain to fit my old chain saw. They definitely went more than that extra mile. A big big thank you.”

“Had a lovely visit to the Barrow-in-furness branch where a very helpful lady called Michelle helped us in the Kitchen Showroom department. She did everything she possibly could to help us find what we were looking for and we will certainly go back to B & Q again.”

“Harry in the kitchen department, Colchester. Yesterday we went to B&Q to buy a splash back for our cooker, we weren't sure what we really wanted and needed some advice. Harry was very helpful, polite and an absolute pleasure to be served by- a credit to the store. Thank you Harry”

“I have just had a new kitchen fitted. And to say I am thrilled with the workmanship is an understatement. Our fitter Tony has done an excellent job, he was brilliant from day one, he was so helpful and considerate from the survey right up to completion. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. I hope that Scarborough b&q homefit realise what an asset Tony Kelly is to them.”
