Bath Empire - now renamed 'Soak' - probably to lose the poor reviews. Massively disappointing - ordered a bath, they delivered the wrong one, after 2 weeks of being messed about they eventually promised to collect the wrong one and deliver the correct one. Delivery company arrived, just to collect the wrong one, no sign of the correct one. 2 further weeks with only replies to say they are looking into it and eventually promised to refund me, its now been 2 weeks I have been waiting for a refund - time for small claims . . . Please dont do it to yourself - all may be well if you get what you want but if something goes wrong and you need to contact their customer services you had better be patient.

I was very happy initially with the products that I received albeit I had to return the bath as it was faulty i.e. 1) the overflow was tarnished and 2) the baths internal measurements differed immensely to the outer rendering it "unfit for purpose" as I am quite tall. I then set about returning the item which was collected on the 20th April. Whilst I am on the matter. The person who collected it did not seem to have any regard to the fragility of the item as he dragged it through the car park at the back of my house to place it in his van! Prior to this I had spoken to the "Aftersales" team who I might add are clearly not Customer trained, do not seem to take the view that the customer is the core focus of the business and are in my opinion quite flippant. I advised the person that I spoke to that the bath was faulty and in any case was too small. I then asked whether I would be able to change the bath for a different bath and was advised that the company would only change it for a like for like bath. Sorry - what happened to the "no quibble guarantee"!! Am I on the same planet as you? The bath was faulty to start with and is also too small. I don't know about you but this in my view poses a problem. Irrespective of any fault it is my RIGHT under the Consumer Credit Act 2015 to demand a refund but clearly not with this company. My advice - DO NOT BY ANYTHING FROM them. After spending 20 minutes on the Aftersales call, they are still advising that they will have to check the bath before I get a refund. Does that sound like a "no quibble guarantee" to you? I rue the day that I decided to order albeit having said that the Sales team were very nice and friendly but I will not be recommending this company under any name be it Bath Empire" or "Soak" as it only seems to have gotten worse since their advertising campaign and they are clearly proving to be victims of their own success!!

Bought many items from bath empire for two bathrooms. Taps, waste plugs, shower screen, basins, shower and heated towel rails. Taps corroded, towel rails rusted, waste plugs corroded. Shower leaks. 3 years on and I feel like we need a new bathroom - it's awful. I would never ever buy from them again, I'd rather pay a little more and have products which last. Our hard luck :(

NEVER BUY FROM BATH EMPIRE - they've just sent me faulty stock, then refused to take this faulty heavy stock away and instead have asked me to dispose of it, and their customer service is practically non-existent! Every experience with them has been painful and appalling! They have just sent me a severely damaged bathroom vanity unit (which was chipped on 3 corners and the drawer runners weren't even screwed in on one side so the draw wouldn't sit in the unit and just fell to the floor). I called and spoke to Marina and Paul to log this complaint on Wednesday and Friday and emailed pictures of faulty item. Customer service didn't process the replacement/collection as I'd requested so I took a day off to wait in for a replacement that didn't turn up. Customer service now refuse to take back their (very heavy) faulty stock and have asked me to dispose of it, which I cannot do as I cannot carry it and don't have a car to take it to the tip! I now have to take another (unpaid) day off work to wait in again for a replacement unit, the quality of which I have no faith in, and work out how to dispose of the huge broken 800mm sink and vanity unit!

I ordered a shower screen from Bath Empire which arrived chipped. I contacted the customer service representative, who argued with me when I asked them to come and pick it up and give me a replacement, that I should dispose of the faulty screen myself. I am a single girl living on the 4th floor of a block of flats. How am I meant to dispose of it?? In the end, after much emailing and arguing, they finally sent me a replacement but I had to pay for a handyman to come and take the old one away in the end and another handyman to fit the new shower screen. I have NEVER come across such appalling customer service; in the end, it would have been cheaper to buy from B&Q or Wickes whose customer service is great. I do not recommend this company under any circumstances - they are rip-off merchants and do not care about the customer.

I ordered some bath mixer shower taps, they arrived dead on time (I paid for next day). My plumber fitted them and they leaked, he tried everything but still leaking. When I had a shower the spray was a very feeble 2inches. I phoned the company and stupidly I thought they were sending new taps OH NO!. An e.mail arrived telling me how to fix them saying they are sending the parts for me to repair. I was speechless. The parts never have arrived. You pay £119.00 for taps and you have to repair them because they are rubbish, it is totally unacceptable. The staff are absolutely unhelpful saying I must have debris in my water. I only had a leaky tap not driftwood in my bath. I have sent them back and bought a set of mixer taps from Wickes, had them installed and everything is fine. It has cost over £200 in charges, it was avery expensive lesson-never use Bath Empire or Luxury for less it will cost you dearly.

Bathroom suite ordered, toilet cistern damaged, bath empire replaced after a struggle with the wrong item. Staff rude and unapologetic. Even thought they agreed that the cistern supplied would not fit toilet. Toilet had to be returned as BE would not help by sending an urgent replacement. Had to give up and buy a toilet elsewhere. Very upset that we paid £45.00 carriage when we still had to go out and buy another toilet and various other missing bits like screws. This charge really should be refunded but talking to their customer service is like verbal tennis. Horrible people.

Just fitted a luxury tray and large shower screen from bath empire. product quality is extremely poor and instructions are diabolical . If you are a plumber beware, the cubicle comes totally unassembled with a mass of badly fitting components which have to be assembled on site using difficult to read instructions which lacks detail. This precess alone adds hours to the job. Once fitted the door on this cubicle would not close and after numerous ettempts to move individual components to try and gain extra clearance Bath empire was contacted when this failed. The response from the supplier was to volunteer to Send a selection of components which they expected to be fitted at my cost to try and rectify the problem. Who do these people think they are. They sell products but have no warranty service expecting installers like me to mess about correcting badly fitting Chinese made product at my expense. Dream on, buy quality from known brands bath empire is a disaster.

DO NOT BUY A PRODUCT FROM BATH EMPIRE! I ordered a bath in September, it is now 19 November and so far I am still waiting for a correct, undamaged bath to be deleivered. I placed my order, paid a ridiculous amount for deleivery, and waited in anticipation for my order. A day late, my bath arrived! Hurray!! On inspection of teh bath I noticed this bath is NOT single ended, nor is it the correct size. I explain this to the delivery driver who looks pretty puzzled, doesnt say much but "oh, are you sure?" I explain yes I am sure, and then ask if he happens to at least have the correct bath panel? "no, there is no bath panel with your order." So after a slightly fustrating conversation I have to dig out my order confirmation and show him that clearly I have ordered a different bath complete with a £50 panel. I am informed at this stage he thinks he has delivered my bath to teh wrong house and the panel must have been missed off the list - he will go find my bath and come back..... How reassuring.... Some time later I receive a phone call, explaining he cannot locate teh bath I have order, he has 'lost it!...and cannot go back to every house so will deleiver a new bath with panel tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and goes, no delivery. I call bath empire where I am advised the bath is now out of stock (this is a WEEK after i ordered teh product.) and will need to wait 2 weeks. By this stage I have had to rearrange the bathroom fitters TWICE and they are getting pretty mad at me. Out of curtersey I do get my £40 delivery fee back. Three weeks later the bath arrives.... or does it? NO. Yet again teh order is wrong. Que another call to Bath Empire - I am promised a call back from the senior team to resolve my issues and arrange delivery of my order. No call..... Delivery arrives whilst I am at work (because I received no call to advise of a time) and they cannot leave the order unsigned for. I have to rearrange collection with teh driver directly. Have Bath Empire even heard of Customer Service?!?!?! The bath and panel DO arrive teh next day - a month late - I ask teh driver to please bring teh bath into my hall or garage to which he proclaims he is not allowed to do, all he can do is drop the bath and pallet on my driveway. I am a female who weighs about 9 stone with back issues so lifting the bath by myself isn't an option and my partner is in finalnd for a week.... Again THANK YOU for your HORRENDOUS SERVICE! So I finally have a bath..... and a bath panel..... which can be fitted! I get teh bath fitter in, pay fitting costs, go to use teh bath and part way through notice water on teh floor - the bath has a fiber glass leak where it has been sealed incorrectly during manufacturing... at this stage I am beyond angry and I am still waiting for bath empire to return my call after lodging a complaint, after I have sent my pictures showing teh leak, and I am still waiting for delivery of a product that works.... TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE the service is terrible, the products if deliveryed correctly are faulty, and late.

Costly mistake using this company! #poorcustomerservice #dontkeeptheirword Initial delivery arrived a day later! Despite having a confirmation from BathEmpire Customer Service that driver was on its way and will take him 20min to arrive @ 16h. In any case the worst started as fittings for the bath were incomplete. ( sealed bag bits missing) They placed an Urgent Order that is taking 8+days to be dlivered correctly. For this reason project delay 1.5 week Spent over 20min on the phone with CS, requested to speak with a Manager several times and the ensure that I will receive a call in 24h..... Manager only contact back when I started posting on property/traders FB groups and Twitter (5days) Reviews on their website are 4-5* , reality on the web you find poor reviews. Hope that this review helps others to reconsider when using this company. Costly mistake using Bathempire!

Terrible company, that's the last time I try and go cheap. 1. They sent me thr wrong size bath panels which had a different product number on them, but refused to correct the mistake and told me "it was meant to be 15cm too long and was designed for me to saw through the acrylic to get my desired length". I told them my desired length was the length of the bath, obviously, but they wouldn't refund it. I bought an acrylic saw from my own pocket and the panel snapped nonetheless. 2. The shower screen was 3 inches too short for the fitting! I have had to glue it to the wall as the bracket is too big and doesn't hold it. Now the screen is fixed ion place and cannot move as supposed to. 3. I refunded some taps and they refunded me £10 less than I paid due to "admin costs"??!?! WHAT? AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Please think of the builder or plumber who has to fit this. We have just had the misfortune to have to fit three bathrooms and a cloak room suite a client bought from them. The quality is either shockingly poor or average. Most British toilets are plumbed in from the left , although most toilet cisterns have both left and right fitting options there's only have a right fitting option so this means changing over the pipe work. Counter top basins should have a flat bottom not there's hence they wobble unless silliconed in heavily. Waste are another issue poor fitting so again our plumber had resort to mass sillicone to stem the gaps caused by poor fitting. I could go for hours listing the problems we have had to overcome. This is what it is overpriced junk. As we say in the trade buy cheap pay twice.

Ordered 1 bath, 1 shower tray, three toilets and three sinks for a new build project as well as three showers and all taps. Our build was delayed so items were unpacked 5 weeks after delivery. Bath was cracked in two corners and one toilet pan was smashed to pieces. Rang aftersales and was advised that damage should have been reported within 14 days and they would not do anything about it even though my total order was over £1200. Rang citizens advice and apparently that clause they put in their terms and conditions is against consumer law and under the sale of goods act we have the right to a full refund for damaged goods. Advised Bath Empire of this by email and guess what "no response" am going to take this further until I get my refund though. Avoid Bath Empire they are appalling. Their customer aftersales even accused us of causing the damage!!!!

We live in Portugal and we are renovating a large house that used to be a boutique hotel. We originally ordered 2 baths from Splash Direct who delivered the baths to our UK shipping company who then shipped the baths down to Portugal with no problem. We would have liked to have done business with Splash Direct again but they have since gone bust and been taken over by another company who have about 4 baths on their website and the rest are out of stock until 31/12/2015. We could not wait that long. We have 2 more bathrooms to finish so we went to Plumbworld, we paid for a bath over the August bank holiday weekend and gave our shipping address as in the UK and I contacted them on the tuesday to say that we wanted the bath sent to Algarve removals who would be shipping it down to Portugal. On tuesday afternoon they wrote back and said that bath was out of stock and that the money we had paid instantly would not be sent back to our bank account until 5-7 working days!!! So then I went onto the BathEmpire website and contacted them to ask if they would be willing to ship to a UK shipping company and after 45 minutes of waiting around on their live chat an answer finally came from the manager, that yes that would be fine we could go ahead with our order for two baths. I went back to my shopping basket and proceeded to order the two baths, but then there was a fault with their website and unbeknownst to me because I never got that far it wouldn't allow me to put in a billing address outside of the UK but i didn't know why, so when it said some problem with the gateway i just said ok to the little box and tried again...little did i know that they had taken not one but two payments from me a total of £1,400 quid!!! But no confirmation of the order and of course they had my money but instead of 2 baths I had paid for 4 baths and but i wouldn't be getting any baths because the order had not been finished. So i contacted their live chat and they said oh no we don't have your money...so i contacted our UK bank and they said yes they do have your money, their system had taken our money but would not let us finish ordering the baths. So now we have £1400 quid sitting in their account waiting for us to finish an order that we cant finish because their website is cocked up!!! On top of that we cant access that money for 12 days!!!!! So we had over £1800.00 quid sitting in other peoples bank accounts and still no baths!! I am totally appalled that companies expect you to pay upfront for an item but when they cant fulfill the order they expect you to wait to get your money back!!!!! Its not like I am asking them to ship to Portugal I am asking them to ship to a UK address, its not like we don't live in a global market where my money is as good as anyone else's in the UK bearing in mind my bank is HSBC and I have been banking with them for over 30 years!!!!
