Nightmare experience. Ordered beers on 07/10 and only received them on 29/10 after 3 broken promises of earlier delivery, even though the beers were in stock all the time. Communication from Beer Hawk was sporadic and I dealt with about 4 different staff. Communication from them then halted and the beers were only despatched after I opened a PayPal dispute. The beers received are great however, and they did give me a lot of extra beer tokens but I would much rather have had a hassle free experience. Apparently, they have had warehouse issues and I can see from their older reviews that they have given better service in the past so I will keep an eye on the reviews to see if they improve before I order from them again.

Matthew, appreciate the review and you are right we slipped in our service standards. We have now got past that point and our standards are improving and processes are in place to ensure the same does not happen again. Cheers Stu

Poor customer service and communication, delivery was split into 2 separate deliveries and took over a week to arrive, tracking number provided was not valid. Order was missing items when it finally did arrive, looking over the reviews it seems this is a common problem. Probably the worst online ordering experience I've had. Wouldn't recommend.

Horrendous customer service, poor communication, extremely late delivery with items missing from the order and it appears customer service tell lies. In an email I was told "please accept our most sincere apologies, we have had a delay fulfilling some of our orders due to a warehouse move. It will be dispatched in the next 24hours". It still didn't arrive so I sent a second email and the reply I eventually received said, "the beer we sent out to you has been damaged in transit. This doesn't happen very often, but to make sure that a soggy box is not left on your doorstep, we instruct our couriers to return the damaged box to us, and we send out a replacement straight away." On the phone today when explaining about the missing item in our delivery, I was told all Amazon orders weren't put through until a couple of days ago. 3 different stories for one very late birthday present and no money off vouchers / freebies thrown in for the inconvenience. I will never be ordering from them again!

I have ordered previously from Beer Hawk and had little problem but my latest order has been nothing short of a complete screw up. I made my order on 6th October & as of today 26th October it still haven't received my order nor has it left their warehouse. All I have got in return are excuses with my first two emails getting the exact same response, clearly a curt and paste job. I keep getting assurances it will be delivered soon but I find that hard to believe when it hasn't even left the warehouse. Worst service I have received from an online store.

This purchase was a disaster. Order placed on the 8th of October & finally delivered on the 26th October, 18 days later. Throughout the communication about delayed delivery was poor. I would not order again.

I am so disappointed in this company after apologising for my order (which was a gift) being delayed they confirmed it would be ready for delivery in 24 hours, six days later it was dispatched they don't respond to my emails. It's despicable. I wanted to support local business but when their customer service is so poor I certainly shan't be ordering from them again and urge other people not to order.

I ordered a case of beers for my boyfriends birthday 13th October and it's now the 25th and they are still not delivered. I have tried calling their customer service but their number is just for ordering and not speaking to someone regarding an order. Apparently they call you back although I am still waiting for a call and 2 emails to customer service have been ignored (from 3 days ago) It seems there is no correct administration here where the communicate with each other or customers. I do NOT recommend this company.

I ordered a perfect draft machine with 2 x beer kegs. Machine arrived without the kegs. Phoned to ask why and was told that there were difficulties with the beer keg supply and no date for delivery could be confirmed. Result machine with no beer. Opted to send the machine back and then got bounced between the different published telephone numbers trying to organise this. It was not even possible for the customer service department to explain to me if a returns label for the carrier would be needed. Eventually machine was collected and a credit given but i was left feeling that this was a very poor customer experience all round. Be aware.

Disgusted! Ordered an Advent calendar as an anniversary gift for my husband 6 weeks ago and trusted them to deliver on the specified date as they said. No sign of it or any message to say it will be coming. They took my money fast enough. I have emailed, sent messages through facebook and tried to ring all to no avail. I will be contacting Paypal for a refunbd but if you have any sense, stay well away, they are cowboys, you only need to read the reviews to see that.

Hi Jane, Sorry you are so frustrated with the service. The advent calendars were made available for presale in September as they were so popular last year. The order page does state that delivery will be made in November as does your order confirmation, so sorry if this hasn't been clear enough. Ordered a case and paid for express delivery. They took my money straight away but still no sign of the case and its 10 days later. Customer service is useless. IF (!) you can get hold of them (pretty difficult), they tell you they will send it out the next day so should be with you in 2/3 days and then nothing turns up. They then say the same thing again and again.......save your money, use a different company!

Ordered the perfect draft machine and keg for my husbands birthday present - machine arrived within a week (not within the 3 working days specified) keg still no where to be seen (now been waiting for 3 weeks). Called customer services repeatedly only to be diverted to the the order line as customer services are too busy to answer the calls. Absolutely awful company cant even get a refund as this has to be actioned by the illusive customer "service" department. Avoid!!!

Sorry that you've had a bad experience. We have been really struggling to keep up with demand on some of the keg lines as they've been so popular in particular the Hoegarden kegs. I'm not sure why, but it also sounds like you've had a hard time getting hold of us too. Someone will give you a call today to give you a full update on delivery and we'll also sort out some sort of discount. Apologies again

Placed an order a week ago. Chased via email several times without reply. Fobbed off by call centre each time I phoned. Still waiting for a call back from customer services to refund my money.

Ordered 2 crates only 1 arrived. Chased numerous times everytime im told head office will call you back. Numerous excuses as to why the order has not arrived. Eventually i am told a fresh order has been placed with express delivery. No delivery after a week. Again i have chased and requested a refund. Am told head office can only authorise that, so am still waiting for confirmation. Would never order again, clearly the processes in the company are poor, how can noone provide confirmation of delivery or useful information without the say so of head office.

ordered a perfect draft machine, along with 4 other kegs as well as the one that was bundled with the machine, after 3 weeks and 3 phone calls i am still waiting for two of the kegs, i have been promised a call back on each occasion and have never got one, quite the worst customer service ever

Delivery service is appalling , customer service is even worse!!! I ordered 'pre order ' advent calender for my husband. Was wondering when I was going to get an email update after the order was placedd in September , called unhelpful guy on the line was not willing to help. He kept saying contact'head office' why are you there if you won't help customers??? I'd avoid this company if I were you! Full of disappointment.

Ordered a Perfect Draft machine and a keg 3 weeks ago, the machine arrived promptly. However I am still waiting for the Keg, I was assured multiple times it was 'a few days away' only for it to not arrive. When I would ask again I was simply told once more that it was 'a few days away'. I was told to change the Keg because the one I ordered was out of stock, I requested a different one, which also happened to be out of stock, I was not told this until I had to inquire again as to where my order was, none of the customer service staff seemed to have any idea what was going one each time I phoned. Beerhawk seem to have no intention of compensating me for this mess, or even apologising properly. I will not be using them again, they have ruined what should have been an easy and fun treat for myself and family.

I payed for express delivery. It was for a birthday gift. I was told 3 times it was going to be delivered on 3 different occasions and it never turned up. So I asked for a refund. Then I asked again and again. I emailed, called, tweeted and even put a messageon Facebook. Eventually I got my money back! Will never use Beer Hawk again.
