“Not the smoothest transaction unfortunately! After a week, they still hadn't arrived and I decided to call Beer Hawk! They explained that 2 bottles were out of stock and that's why the order was on hold!! Surly they should have contacted me regarding this issue! I was asked if I'd like a refund or beer tokens! As I am a 1st time customer I had no idea how the tokens are used so settled for a refund! Anyway, I was told that the beer would be with me soon and that I could track it! Sadly the delivery driver was unable to deliver because he couldn't find the me! All that was on the label was my name, the name of the village and postcode (lots of businesses and households use the same post code). I had entered the full address when ordering and given a contact number! I had to contact the courier and arrange to have the packages delivered again. I gave them a contact number, which wasn't given to them by Beer hawk! At last they're here! Not sure if I'll be using Beer Hawk again! On the plus side, the bottles were very securely packed and arrived without any breakages!”

Ryan, Thanks for the feedback and apologies for the issue. We changed our warehouse software and a glitch in the system meant that some orders were sent with incorrect labels. This has now been resolved and will not happen again. Regards Stu

“The craft beer advent calendar was delivered promptly, in time for 1st December and was a big hit with my boyfriend. A fantastic purchase and have recommended to all our friends. Will definitely purchase through you again.”

“Received as a gift. Now on 12th bottle, most of which have been terrible, bitter, over-hopped American pale ales. I hope the selection will improve because the choice, so-far has been very disappointing.”

“Lots of interesting beers that you can't buy in the supermarket. I find some of the pricing a bit erratic, and shipping costs sometimes difficult to stomach, but for special occasions and when you want something a bit different, there is some great beer to try”

“Beers all arrived. Prices are good plus this was the only store to stock a certain beer I was after. The site is very easy to use and the tokens are cool. HOWEVER, the order is said to arrive after 3 work days and only made it 10 days later. I got a text on the day of delivery but was away at the time and requested that shipment will be delayed for a couple more days, I received a message that it will be delayed. And yet when I got back home the boxes were waiting there for 2 days already... apparently the delivery man rang up my neighbors' door, they were not pleased with that..”

“After an easy ordering process, things did get a bit wobbly as the order seemed to be in stasis for a while but after a quick chat with a CS representative, all was sorted and the beer was delivered the following day. Beers are lovely and exactly what was ordered.”

“Absolutely appalling. The advent calendar turned up broken then the second one turned up unusable as all the bottles had fallen out of the holes. The customer service was disgusting. They don't answer the phones, don't reply to emails and then when they offer you a refund they don't actually do it so you then have to chase them up again. Wouldn't recommend or use beer hawk again.”

“The delivery was great and everything boxed well. Inside seems t have slipped down so getting beers out isn't easy. So far two have also been out of date, I did email but have received no response!”

“Not happy at all, I received and paid for 2 products. One extra sent in error and still need to return one and still waiting for a refund. I can't get any response from this company. I have emailed and even telephoned and still can't get anywhere.”

“Ordered two of the advent calendars to be given as gifts with a month spare to allow plenty of time for delivery. Despite chasing many times I had to get google shops involved and they finally turned up with just one day to go before they were due to be opened. However as they were gifts i then couldnt get them to their recipients till the following weekend ruining the present. Which was then ruined even more by finding that both calendars had a number of drinks missing from behind the doors. A great ideal but a bad company - buy from somebody else”

“Ordered the beer hawk advent calendar for my husband and he loves it!! Brilliant variety of beers he hasn't been disappointed I thought he would get over excited and open all the doors at once but no he is being good and waiting!! Haha. The customer service I received was brilliant they were very quick to answer my questions. I will definitely be back so will hubby!!”

“Whilst the product appears good, I ordered a beer case based on the fact that the case would be delivered within 3 days in ordered in plenty of time to give as a birthday present. Having not received my beer ordered I contacted Beer Hawk to find out what was going on and eventually received it some 12 days after placing my order. I was left embarrassed at not having a birthday present to give on the date of the birthday thanks to not sending out in a reasonable time frame. In addition to this one of the beers I ordered was out of stock. Rather than at the very least send me a complimentary replacement you simply removed the bottle from my order. Despite complaining I never received a replyh to my email dated 29th November. Very poor service!”
