“Great prices, products and presentation. Would definitely use again for sending gifts. Only slight complaint was that they delivered at 7am which seems a bit early to be knocking on someone's door!”

“The service speed and communication was good. I had only ordered a beer glass which sadly came packaged in a MASSIVE box, which i felt was wasteful and not very cost effective. That was the main let down to my order,.”

“A couple of criticisms: 1) Beer Hawk were out of stock of one item, but didn't call to ask if there was something else we'd like instead - as they had our telephone number a call or text would have been appreciated, in order to take advantage of free delivery. 2) No 'phone call nor text received to keep us informed of the delivery - all communication was done by email, and delivery details read too late on the day to be of any use to us. The tracking system did not work. Despite delivery instructions clearly stating that parcels should be left with a neighbour, the package was left at the front of the house! Not impressed with delivery service, which in part is out of the hands of Beer Hawk, but delivery is part of the 'face' of Beer Hawk and reflects upon them as a company. a) Why ask for a telephone number if it's not going to be used? b) Why ask for delivery instructions if they are not going to be followed? Those criticisms aside, the majority of our order safely arrived within 7 working days and was well packaged. We would use Beer Hawk again for our Belgian beer, but would order at least a couple of weeks before it was needed, and we would keep a regular eye on any emails - just in case.”

“Thought I'd try this company one last time after they got my order wrong three times in a row. This time they managed to get my order correct and remembered to actually include the receipt for once! It seems like Christmas was a hard time for them judging by everyone else's reviews and my own experience. Although I cannot deny that they stock great beers with hard to beat prices. To improve the service they need to communicate better with their customers, and inform them if they can't send a certain beer for whatever reason. Instead they just seem to ignore the issue until you contact them (I'm still waiting for a beer from last month). It would be nice if they asked to substitute a beer if they find they didn't have the one you ordered in stock rather than to just leave it completely and proceed to send the package without the missing item. Although going on from this point, the delivery is always quick and gets dispatched the same day or next day, but what is the point if it doesn't contain what you ordered? Previously I pre-ordered the advent calendar in September/October and couldn't fault the service or product. If it wasn't for all the hassle after Christmas I would have given this company a much higher rating, but I was just let down again and again (mainly because of the customer service). In summary I will use the company again until they give me more reasons not too, but would I recommend to a friend? Probably not, as of now. They need to improve or they'll be left behind, theres an awful lot of new upcoming beer websites that'll happily take their business away.”

“Very quick and efficient delivery; some good beers. However I was disappointed that only 29 beers were sent rather than 30 paid for, with no word of explanation from you. I had to ring up and you checked that the missing beer (BH 1097) was indeed out of stock, and that the cost would be credited (which it was). It really should not have been down to me to check this out and report it.”

“I bought a case of fifteen British Beers for my son-in-law's birthday. Beers arrived promptly and were much enjoyed by him. He says he has discovered a couple of new beers and described it as a birthday treat that goes on and on!”

“I've now placed a couple of orders with Beer Hawk and I can recommend the beer and the service when you speak to sales. Howvever both of my orders needed chasing up and the first one took two weeks from date of order to receipt. The guys were nice and =included some freebiesI must confess that I like doing business with Beer Hawk but it has been a tad frustrating at times. Come on Beer Hawk - get your act together,”
