Great beer selection, good value, free delivery on orders over £50. However, the delivery company was awful, the service was paid for next-day delivery but they failed to deliver 3 times in a row and only succeeded on the 4'th day/'attempt' (Ordered Thursday night, arrived Thursday the following week). I would like to use Beer Hawk again, once they stop using UKMail as their courier.

I placed my order on a Thursday afternoon and chose the Saturday delivery option which cost a bit more but I didn't mind as I wanted for a get together on the Sunday. Once the order was placed I was informed I would be notified once the parcel is on its way. By the following week Tuesday when I still hadn't received my order o rang up to enquire about it and was told that it was with the delivery company waiting to be delivered and that Beer Hawk would follow up with the delivery company on why it hadn't been delivered yet, by the Thursday it still hadn't been delivered so I rang up again to enquire where my delivery was I was then informed it was still in the warehouse and it would be sent out asap. I eventually recieved my delivery on the Friday, and recieved a refund for the postage. I never received any email or phone call explaining or apologising for this late delivery.

Bought for my brother's birthday. One case arrived broken, driver didn't inform anyone. A few emails and a day later discovered broken case was back in depot and no one informed that it was to be replaced. Eventually re- delivered albeit days late. Kinda spoiled the birthday treat when only half a present arrives, got halfhearted apology. Won't be using again, start as you mean to go on.

My first order placed I had a text from you on Thu 30.6 to say delivery would be Friday. Great service I thought although you didn't say who the courier was in the text. Friday came and went no delivery. Tried various courier websites and found it was Uk mail. It stated my delivery was delayed. ETA was mon 4/7. So why text me and tell me Friday? Mon 4/7 came and went no delivery. Tried calling Uk mail 3 times they never answer. Emailed them they finally responded saying they can't talk to me I have to talk to you, Emailed you 4/7 to advise status Parcel tracked out for delivery 5/7 and was delivered. Opened parcel 2 boxes, no packing list inside which wasn't very helpful. Especially as I had ordered 24 bottles and there was only 23 here. Requested refund for missing bottle Not a great experience as a new customer and first order. Will not use you again

I ordered the 30 beer package as an anniversary present for my Husband who is temporarily in the London area. I had lovely e-mails with Beer Hawk coordinating the delivery date, address, etc. I was feeling good about the delivery, but it never showed up. Subsequently, both my Husband and myself had to chase up the beer and delivery several times via phone calls and e-mails. One phone call was an international phone call from Texas to the UK. While the selection of beer is good and my Husband is now enjoying his present, he missed a substantial amount of time in what is a short stay, to be able to enjoy the beer. He may have to leave some behind - although I bet he can find some friends to help him drink it. So, the beer was good, but the customer service and delivery was very lacking!

Beers are great but really disappointing customer service as I had asked for the beers to be delivered on a certain date as they were going to a rented holiday home. Customer services then sent the beers immediately, I contacted them to ask them to get the carrier to hold them and they agreed to do this but it never happened and the beers were delivered several days before I arrived. I have had no contact from customer services since. Terrible service.

I love good quality beer/ale and was excited when I received a gift voucher for fathers dad from my wife. After visiting the website and browsing for a while, one thing was very clear. The supermarkets stock most of what is listed on the website, but much cheaper. I also found the website misleading AND annoying that I could not filter by bottle volume. The beer I purchased was great, but cost me about £2.75 for 330cl bottles. I can buy the same quality from the supermarket, which has a full isle with hundreds of brands, for £1.25 per 500cl bottles. I felt massively disappointed and ripped off. My naked wines membership offer so much better value than this beer hawk one. Will definitely not be coming back unless they do something about the website filtering and prices.

This was intended as a Father's Day present. He's still waiting. Firstly, there was as issue in the company lacking stock for a certain item (I overlooked this, things happen!) Secondly, after declaring my wishes for the unavailable item to be refunded, I had to 'chase up' the delivery schedule as the process was taking an unusually long time. I was assured a delivery for the next day (alarm bells: had my delivery been forgotten?) Thirdly, after paying a larger sum than I would have liked for delivery to Northern Ireland, my beers arrived at my home in London! No problem on my end; the address and payment were correct for delivery to NI. It then took a while for collection for re-delivery to be arranged, as funnily enough, I work during the week and it is not convenient to wait around to correct other people's mistakes. Thankfully, the beers are now apparently en-route to my father but I'm quite disappointed with the service to say the least and only time will tell if the wait has been worth it!

Unfortunately I was let down on delivery. Despite emails and website banners proclaiming delivery for Father's Day, they failed to deliver in time. When I relayed this to BeerHawk they merely passed the blame on to Royal Mail, and made no note of why they left it so long to dispatch my delivery after receiving the order. That said, my dad has said that the beer mix was good, so no issues with the actual product.

Despite specifically asking for delivery to be within office hours it turned up on a Saturday. Response from BeerHawk was that my delivery had been upgraded so it arrived for Father's Day so although this may have been well-meaning it was wrong and the lack of communication caused problems.

My dad was really pleased with his gift, and I was pleased with the service I received from the Beer Hawk team when I called to make a complaint. Overall though really disappointed that the delivery was not made in time for Fathers day despite paying £13 for Saturday delivery.

Ordered a world lager pack as a Father's Day present for my husband, taking note of the 'delivered within 5 working days' claim. 5 working days later, still no parcel and the order tracking link I had received simply said 'delayed'. I received an e-mail saying I would get a second e-mail or text within 24 hours to confirm the delivery slot. I didn't. I called on the Saturday before Father's Day to see what had gone wrong, and the lady I spoke to promised to look into it and ring me back. She didn't. Father's Day came and went with no present for my husband. The package finally came on the Monday, but not within the 1 hour time slot I had been advised of in the morning ! A bit of a disaster all round.

I have had so many issues with the delivery of the beers. I had to wait in for 5 days because UK Mail made errors each day including coming at the wrong time, not coming at all, forgetting to add me to their list of delivery and forgetting to pick up the beers from the depot. The lack of communication was disgraceful and I was lied to throughout the process! And UK mail were incredibly rude to me and starting to ignore me on Twitter! I was told by Beerhawk that I would receive a gesture of goodwill and I'm still waiting for confirmation of this. I think it's disgraceful that customers have to sit in their house for 5 days, waiting for their delivery!!

After being told my beer was on the way on june 6 I received another e-mail on the 10th to say it had been damamaged and as of yet I am still waiting for it ....considering it was due for delivery in 5 working days and I ordered it on the 2nd for my first experience with you I'm not best pleased... Hoping it arrives before father's day as its a present as my dad loves ales and I WAS,excited to be ordering this from you. Any comments gratefully received 07711161619 tracy

The consignment of larger never arrived on the day that it was supposed to. June 7 my sons birthday so it was a run around for us to buy him another present. We had an e-mail the day before informing us the package had been damaged. Regards Ken Pavey

I was given a gift card for my birthday, when I typed in the code to order my beer I was told that the voucher was invalid. After two seperated phone calls, one in which I was told I would receive an Email to let me know what was happening (which I never received), eventually I had to ring through with my order. This is my first experience of Beer Hawk and I was deeply unsatisfied with the overall service.

I had deliberately paid for express delivery to ensure the drinks were delivered before Christmas. Nothing arrived, no note, apart from a text saying would be delivered and weren't. I had to call and chase post Christmas when I was then informed that they had been damaged in transport and returned. No one notified me it was only when I chased that I was updated. I have asked for the express delivery charge to be reimbursed and again nothing. All very disappointing.

First delivery 1 out of 2 boxes I ordered were missing, I had to chase the order for them to tell me case was damaged and will be sent out again. When it was delivered it was the wrong bottles in a damaged wine box (this was a Christmas gift of a case of beer). After contacting they sent the correct case but this one was also slightly damaged! I haven't bothered complaining again just won't use again for orders. You need to get new delivery drivers that take care of your items and deliver the correct things in good condition.
