“Avoid this firm. They bring a whole new meaning to "customer service". It has taken over 3 months and numerous emails before I got an answer to my complaint. I would rather sleep on the floor than have anything to do with this bunch of incompetent idiots. Trading standards should really be taking a long hard look at them. I would strongly recommend you spend your hard earned cash elsewhere.”

“The customer service from Brenda at bensons beds East Kilbride was excellent, helpful and friendly with no pressure. My new bed has just been delivered by Stuart and John and I cannot speak highly enough of them. So pleasant and friendly ( not to mention efficient, they had my new bed and headboard assembled in no time!) all in all a happy experience. These employees are a credit to the company.”

“I recently bought a bed from Bensons and then read these reviews and almost cancelled the order. I have to say i am so pleased i didn't. The bed arrived on time with no fuss. The delivery guys were fantastic and no complaints. The bed we ordered arrived exactly as we ordered. Whether Bensons have changed or listened, i have had a wonderful experience. Thanks”

“My parents (in their late 70's) spent quite a lot of money on a new bed. Within 5 months the mattress had sunk in the centre. Only my mother sleeps in that bed and she is quite slightly built and around 5ft 2 in height. The 'expert' appeared and duly sent a letter accusing my mum of causing the damage. Absolutely impossible! I have written to them on two occasions on their behalf. We still have had no reply to either letter despite providing phone numbers and email addresses. I suppose next steps will be the ombudsman and finally a lawyer.”

“On arriving at the Workington store we were greeted by Helen. She was very attentive without being over bearing. Her knowledge was very comprehensive about each mattress I should try. I was left to browse and try each mattress at leisure, but Helen was there when needed. Excellent customer service from the Workington store! I finally purchased an I Gel mattress.”

“We bought a bed from Bensons in Altrincham the bed we bought was just what we wanted and we got a date for delivery but two days before this date we were told the bed was discontinued .I phoned the shop and spoke to Victoria who took control and got us a shop floor bed from another shop plus extras that was worth £200 . Later Leanne from the Altrincham shop got in touch and gave us £50 back for our trouble. We got our bed on time with £250 of and thats what I call good service Barry .”

“Very good support staff in the Rugby store.Delivery chaps where excellent.There was too much packaging on the bed which was difficult to get rid of.Could you use air bag packaging which would be recyclable and cheaper?”

“They were very friendly on entering to shop. Advice was very good but not pushy. Because of these reasons we brought. We went to another shop to see if we could get a better offer but staff were very pushy, so went back to Bensons”

“this seems to be a very small number of reviews compared to trust pilot who have over 60,000 reviews. I am not saying that Bensons don't make mistakes as every large business makes mistakes. when I had an issue with them (damaged furniture) they took control and resolved it as quick as they could (in this case 4 weeks as from Germany) once everything had been sorted out the gave me some money back and some vouchers.”
