This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Ordered a bed & mattress in January told it would be delivered on March 7th when it was due only base arrived no mattress. I complained immediately and was promised a loan mattress in 5 days this never arrived either. I received text and email confirming delivery both times only for the delivery driver to have to tell us it wasn't on the lorry. I've since spent hours on numerous phone calls as trying to get through to customer service is almost impossible. I've been promised a full refund on the mattress as I cancelled my order but am still waiting for my money even though I was promised it would be paid into my bank yesterday 23/03/22. Stay well away from this company as they are con merchants and liars.

Paid in full for bed etc had to wait 2 months then on the delivery day someone stayed in all day no delivery no phone call or email no correspondence from bensons. When delivery finally arrived no bed. Bensons have gone total radio silence I can not get a response. No bed no money no response I've been sleeping on the floor for three days now. PayPal are involved Nd still no response. Stay well clear of this company think there going under criminal

Benson for beds is a joke! I purchased a igel advanced 2500 back in November 2021 for a delivery date of 1st February but it never arrived so I contacted customer support for them to tell me they was very sorry that it has not arrived and that the mattress, headboard and pullows are ready for delivery just not the base. They then said the bed will arrive on the 23rd March, today is the 23rd of March and the bed has not arrives so I have just got off the phone to customer support for them to tell me the bed will be delivered on the 6th April and there is nothing they can do apart from offer me a good gesture of will when the bed finally arrives. I would avoid bensons and go elsewhere or get used to sleeping on the floor.

Awful company. Ordered a frame and mattress, only a few months later on delivery I was advised there would be no mattress. Bed frame screws don’t fit, my son has no mattress, and despite waiting hours in your phone queue the phone was hung up when I got to number 1. ( I started at number 56)! No one picks up the phone, customer service is poor, no refund offered and il be going to your ombudsmen about mis selling your beds. Absolutely terrible service that has left my son with no bed to sleep on.

No choice but to give one star to be able to write the review. We purchased 1 x Slumberland super king sized divan beds with mattresses in July 2021. The delivery was a bit of a fiasco but we got through it. For the past 6 months we’ve endured terrible sagging in the mattress resulting in myself and hubby having excruciating back pain and awful nights sleep. We have complained but no response. Really wished we’d checked these reviews before paying £2,000 for the bed. Our next step is going to trading standards as they’re clearly selling furniture which is unfit for use.

Just been to the retail park in Bury St Edmunds and witnessed a barrage of abuse from the guy who then proceeded to open up Benson's for Beds. An elderly driver had made a simple mistake by going down a one way road in the car park. The Benson's worker was swearing and shouting at him from his car window in total rage. Really inappropriate and totally out of order.

I would never make the mistake of ordering from Bensons for Beds again. I ordered my bed in July 2021, and received it in the first week of September. One of the drawers on the base was faulty so they ordered a replacement base which finally arrived in November, 11 weeks later. The headboard arrived separately in October and was also faulty, I sent numerous emails which were ignored but finally managed to get a reply in January which said they would replace it and it would be 4 weeks. It finally arrived 8 weeks later, but the delivery driver incorrectly fitted the struts and it does not fit the base! I have also noticed dirty marks on the headboard from where the delivery driver handled it. I have emailed Bensons who have demanded photos, and am awaiting a satisfactory response. It's been 8 months since I first ordered my bed and I am bitterly regretting it!

I do not normally put reviews on but...Do not buy from benson for beds. Long wait for delivery and divan bed broke after 7 days. Bed not fit for purpose and customer service take ages to get back to you and when they do just advise that there is nothing that can be done. Totally unacceptable. Will never buy from them again

Don't touch this company with a barge pole. Delivery at least when told but the bed was dirty in places one area because the delivery men had filthy hands and refused my offer to have them wash. They did send someone to clean the marks off,that they use them all the time and I had to wait should have told me this is not unusual. Told the sales girl I am in my 80th year and need to be able to roll the bed out to access the head to tuck sheets in. The bed came with two bases impossible to roll. The mattress seems just stuffed and is most uncomfortable for £1,800. Overfilled to hide the fact that springs are fewer than needed and so heavy even my son and wife struggle to turn it and they recommend turning often. Overpriced and uncomfortable.

Apsolutly appalling service at their Peterborough Brotherhood store. I have never been spoken to so rudely by a manager (David or Jim, he decided to use 2 different names when dealing with us!). For 3 months now we have been stuck with an incorrect sofa bed, an order put through by the manager himself, he has refused to acknowledge the mistake or offer a adequate resolution.

Unfortunately there is not an option for no stars which is why I have given one star. I ordered a bed costing over £2000 and was given a two month delivery date which was fine. I had several messages warning me that my delivery was on track and that I should be ready for my delivery, Great! So delivery day is here, I get a text saying I am delivery No 4 and will be delivered between 07.30 and 09.30 and how to track my delivery. So I get to delivery 3 and it is now on route to delivery 4. that's me, Great! after half an hour I check again, message says delivery failed not on van. I now have no bed and the shop say Oh! we don't know what has happened and they don't know where my bed is.I now have no bed as mine has gone to make space for the new one. I am offered up to a £50 air bed while they resolve the problem, are they joking? I suffer with arthritis of the spine and they offer me a blow up bed??? DO NOT TOUCH BENSON'S WITH A BARGE POLE. I WANT MY MONEY BACK I WOULD BE BETTER OFF ON EBAY.

If you buy a mattress from Bensons then decide to exchange it under the 40 day deal you have an appalling wait to get through to customer services.They need to give you a code which you then give to the store where you bought the mattress from just so you can order another one.Ive been cut off whilst queueing so had to redial & they don't reply to emails. Just avoid buying from this company.

Run from this company. I would rather buy a bed every year than to deal with them again. I payed almost £3000 for frame bed and mattress, after 8ish months the bed had like 5 holes in it(my husband ended up to the hospital with spine problems after sleeping like this) I send them pictures with the broken bed and they said they cannot see clearly that the bed is broken 😳😂😂😂 so is my duty to pay someone to prove that is a manufacturing problem. Ok I just let it be and bought another bed because I just couldn’t sleep like that. After 2 years I send the pictures with the £2000 mattresses (who has a 10 years guarantee) which is all lumpy and very uncomfortable, they’re answer was the same like first time. Ok, this time I hired the company that they told me to come and make a rapport about the damage. The man came, told me that the mattress need to be changed or at least the mattress cover, and when he send me the email report he wrote that “the damage is under the tolerance and no further action is required” 🤯 Whaaattt, so this time they even made me pay to be fooled. It’s incredible that a company like that ended up to be so low!!!!!! I don’t what to hear about them again, neater my family and friends who were witnesses at all this nonsense. I will go further to look for justice because this is not possible in 2022.

We went to New Malden store on December 30th and we receievd very good customer service. We ordered a bed and waited just over two months for it. A day before the delivery was meant to take place, we received a call to tell us that our bed ins't avaiable and they do not know when it will become avaiable. This just digracefull customer care, umbeliavable unprofessional service from Bensons.This was the first time we done business with then and I can assure is the very last.

We ordered a bed for delivery in January. Without warning on the day it never arrived. They said they phoned and left a message but we have absolutely no record of that happening. Tried to speak to customer services who put the phone down on us. Contacted the store where we purchased the bed from who said they would get back to us but they didn't bother so then visited the store who were of no help after purchase at all. Tried to get a refund but nobody will reply to us. Had an email saying we will get a new delivery date. We are still waiting for the bed to come which is ridiculous as we are now in March. We will never use this company again. Avoid.

Would not buy from bensons ever again, worst bed I have ever had, sent home serve out to check it but after reading reviews that was a waste of time, no more reply now going to the tip robbery they are not interested once they have had your money

Purchased a bed 2nd week of January and given a date of the 4th March for delivery. We have received 4 texts confirming bed would be delivered on the 4th March as promised. We have painted the bedroom dismantled and sold my daughters current bed so she now has no proper bed to sleep on and my wife as taken time off work to be here for when the e bed was due to be delivered only to be called the afternoon before saying the bed wasn't in stock and they can't confirm when it will now be delivered but the system will be updated over night and a new date provided and they will call to confirm in the morning 4th March. At 15.43pm because I still hadn't heard anything as never got a call had to chase them again after waiting ages for a member of staff Nicola to eventually pick up the phone to be told the bed did get delivered to them on Thursday 3rd March but missed their delivery van and delivery to us now won't be to us until the 14th April another 6 weeks time approx. Explained not good enough and promised by Nicola she would call me back today once she has spoken to distribution and again and surprise surprise no call back. The man who sold us the bed in the first place in Reading is a credit to the company - the after service is shocking do not use BENSONS if you expect a half decent service or what you have paid for to be delivered on time. I have asked Anthea on my call yesterday for financial compensation as my wife has lost a days work and she said they will look at this once the bed is delivered so anybody else who experiences the same service make sure you get something off the price you paid if the bed ever turns up.

When you buy a bed from them they are all smiles but when there is a problem the branch where you purchased it from just pass you on the customer service department. When you phone that you are about 38 in the queue and when you finally get there they say that they can't solve our problem for 7 to 10 days. Great when you've paid out over £1000. They like your money when they get it they don't give a damn. Shoddy pr. Disgusted 🤬

Ordered mattress with 8 week delivery date. Received 2 SMS messages saying order on track. Further message confirming delivery date. Delivery was due to be Monday for which booked day off from work. Received voicemail Saturday prior to delivery date saying mattress not even in stock. Called Benson who are not able to give me a new delivery date and offered £100 Benson voucher or £50 back on my card. Hopeless!
