The manager mudasor at the Watford store wrongly advised us TWICE! About the re-selection process. I honestly believe this company has the wrong attitude and purposely mis-advise to favour the sale. I am distraught and confused as to why a manger could possibly be so poorly trained.

I have just had a bed delivered to my brand new house. 2 delivery men took the bed up stairs. When I went up after they had damaged my walls. I spoke to them about it they didn’t seem bothered. Call help desk... 45 minutes later .. asked to send pictures... still waiting on what they are gonna do. What ever you get , just let them leave it at the front door. No respect for your property at all! Shocking and never use again.

Unbelievable shockingly poor customer service....in fact the lack of customer service (and the customer support system itself) on this particular occasion beggers belief - Bensons having been advised of the partial failure of the frame of my elderly aunt and uncle's [in their 80's and him having advanced Parkinson's disease] bed purchased from Bensons just some 6 months or so ago. - local Bensons showroom staff said they couldn't help...."phone the customer service line" - numerous attempts to phone their customer service line were 30 to 45 minutes long without answer! - Emails sent on their behalf by me resulted in an auto reply stating there should be a response within 10 days....10 days! - the email response actually took 3 weeks and amounted to "phone us"!! - When on one occasion I did get through to them on the phone they refused to do anything as they did not have my aunt and uncle's permission to speak to them despite my advising them of their age and health circumstances. - finally my aunt got through to them (after many aborted attempts to get through over a period of 10 days or more) only to be told they would have to pay for an independent assessment of the bed and would have to post the report to Bensons! An incredibly poor service and system at any time but absolutely unacceptable for elderly customers....I cannot tell you how much stress this has but on my aunt who has more than enough worries in her life caring for her husband. Angry to say the least!

TERRIBLE COMPANY. Don’t buy a mattress from this company, I’ve been treated shockingly bad, the mattress they sold me in the shop was completely different to the one that arrived and they won’t give me my money back. I’m now stuck with a mattress I can’t sleep on and £600 out of pocket. Be warned!!! They NEVER give money back, the Customer Services Manager said he’d get the sack if he did!

Thought I was just unlucky with my lift up bed the one ARNOLD SWARTZENNAGER would maybe on a good day be able to put down if he had had his Weetabix FOUR visits later by THEIR REPAIR COMPANY I use that term loosely they still cannot fit correct struts that operate the up/down and that they are wrong struts for particular bed MOST CUSTOMERS RELY ON PROVIDING FIRMS KNOWLEDGE did not realise had to take degree course in lift op beds before purchase ABYSMAL X

Wouldn't even give one star . Absolutely appaling customer service . Bed delivered 4 weeks a go damaged. Countless emails calls 2 shop and today finally after a 4 week wait a tect 2 say order new part . No apology no reply 2 emails absolutely disgusting

My delivery was due today, so my daughter took time off work to wait in. Was happily waiting, went to the front door only to see a card stating that they'd attempted to deliver. My door bell is broken, but it clearly didn't occur to anyone to knock the door! I phoned the delivery guy twice in the hope that he could double back. No response. Phoned the company number and waited 14 minutes for a response, only to be spoken to by a quite snippy woman who asked me not to shout at her, although I was speaking in a perfectly normal tone! I have to phone back TOMORROW to re-book. No system in place to deal with that today then?! Looks like my son won't have a bed for the foreseeable, as we skipped the old one in readiness for the delivery today. very poor service!

Do not go to dirty bensons for anything, customer service is a disgrace, products are over priced tat, they sell you the dream but delivery a nightmare, everyone who works there are bell ends, don’t sort my bed very sharp it will be straight through their shop window 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

2 of 4 items of bedroom furniture damaged April 2019. Customer Service shocking. Calling 0300 number.. 50 minutes on hold. Told to email request for replacement, attach photos and allow 10 working days for an update. No update, phone back, another 45 minutes on hold. EMail not actioned, they arrange over the phone. Replacement arrives a month later, damaged. Request refund and collection of faulty goods. Collection of goods happen, although I have goods on a finance agreement with their inhouse finance company ' Creation'. I've called several times to get resolved, finance agreement not credited for the £399, today is 21st October 2019. Still ongoing! Serious Benson of Beds, it atrocious! Totally horrendous experience!

Horrendous ordeal trying to get my bed. It took a total of 8 weeks to get my bed (and phone calls each week filled with false promises). I was offered £30. When I rang for this compensation they refused to offer me more than £20. Easily the worst company I have ever ordered anything from.

I have an issue with a mattress that we purchased, I tried calling them on Saturday. The automated message advised that the average response time was 65 minutes. I waited for over 90 minutes for someone to answer, chatting in the background and then hang up!! Totally frustrating and unprofessional.

Following an insurance claim for damaged furniture in April. I have had replacement furniture delivered on two occasions. Each time I have waited 10 weeks for the replacement only to find it badly damaged. The most recent replacement was 19/10/19 It would appear that there is no quality control at Bensons. Any email I have sent has been ignored. Each time they attempt delivery I have had to take time off work. No offer of compensation. They are a joke.

DON'T BUY A WARDROBE FROM BENSONS! Wardrobes were delivered in March 2019 and when the driver opened the van, the parts had not been tied to the side of the van correctly and surprise surprise numerous parts were damaged. It took 6 months and 38 phone calls to be sorted. I was originally told the parts would be reordered and would take 6 weeks to arrive. 6 weeks later, got a phone call to say my parts had been lost in transit (only to be then told they were damaged). Benson's re-ordered the parts and told me that I needed to wait another 6 weeks. 6 weeks later got another phone call to say the manufacturer in Germany can no longer supply the parts and that as a gesture of goodwill they would replace both wardrobes were newer "soft closing" versions. I told them I needed to check with the wife and I would ring them back to confirm. Cue several phone calls where they told me the parts were still due to be delivered - imagine the frustration of trying to tell them that according to someone else on their staff had told me they were no longer being delivered. Anyway - eventually realised their mistake and the old wardrobes were dismantled, the new wardrobes were delivered (but were not soft closing) and then had to wait 10 days were them to be erected by servicor. I was promised that on successful delivery I would receive a gesture of goodwill payment. I didn't, so I phoned them and they offered £40 - WOW. In short - avoid at all costs. Terrible customer service, no ownership, poor communications. SHAMBOLIC

1. Furniture arrived and delivery men would not take it up the stairs to the bedroom...rude staff. Once they finally agreed they broke the item and it had to be returned 2. Servicemen were to come another agreed date to fix the delivered furniture however they used an excuse of 'all the parts aren't here' and left. 3. Still waiting on service men to fix our furniture and for our new unbroken item to be delivered however no one has been in touch. Wish I had purchased furniture from elsewhere. Something that was meant to be delivered and fixed within 6 weeks is an ongoing problem now for almost 3 months!

Bed broken more than 6weeks for repair to take place. Meanwhile I still have to sleep in it potentially making it worse. Customer service tell you one thing and then contradict themselves later in the conversation.

The mattress stinks, I mean it literally stinks! Keep waking up in the night to the smell of mould and only had the mattress for a few weeks! Prerecorded message on customer services said wait may well be 75 mins - gave up after 25 mins. Can't see this company continuing much longer to be honest. Why do star ratings start at 1 when 0 is often more appropriate?

Worst Customer Service and delivery in the country!! This review would get -5 stars if possible but one will have to do for its purpose. Ordered a bed and mattress in store in August to be told it wouldn’t be able to arrive a month later on 25th September. Come the supposed week of delivery I was left a voicemail stating it’s would not be arriving until the 15th October. Fast forward to the 14th October, I received another phone call stating it would not be available for delivery until the 12th November! That’s a bed paid in full which cost nearly £1000 and having to wait over 3 months for it to arrive!! All dates of alleged delivery, plans were made which resulted in me losing out on 2 full days pay of work as well as the annoyance of having no bed to sleep in for over 2 months! Prior to this I emailed customer service about the delayed delivery time off my items and was not got back to over nearly 3 weeks despite their email stating all responses will be within 10 days! Now to even consider getting paid for my wasted time and lost earnings, I will have to email them again and will more than likely have to wait another 3 weeks for a reply! Rang customer service to be placed on hold for over 55 minutes to then be put through to another member of customer service and put on hold for another period of time! Did not offer to give any form of compensation until brought to their attention! I was that angry I ended up cancelling the whole order and will be taking my custom elsewhere. Now I have to find a way to get to the store again which is over an hour away from my location which is going to cost more money as I am unable to drive; just to receive a refund of my money! Complete disgrace and I’ve never experienced this level of poor customer service from anywhere in my life! Will not be back and will be telling anyone I know to stay away from this company!
