Unfortunately I did not do my research and checked the reviews before giving a deposit. After a day of thinking about it I cancelled the order and expected a refund. Over 20 days later this has still not been processed and no senior manager will respond to my emails. Beware they will be quick to take your money but slow in refunding it.

Still waiting for a refund of over £1400 after I was pushed into buying Betta Living kitchen worth £13,000. I was called by another sector of the business where they've advised they'll be able to provide the same kitchen but at a trade price. Unfortunately, they haven't been professional about giving me my money back and I keep being told white lies and still waiting for a cheque. Please don't make a decision immediately when you've had this company approach you. Take your time, when you meet them and let them leave before you make a decision. I feel I'll be losing all this money and have to pay interest until I've paid it back. Don't be fooled

Final straw was an electric shock from a double socket hanging off a wire in a cupboard, socket put below a water pipe. Took almost 24 hours and several telephone calls for a fitter to come out and make safe. No follow up call from Mark Edwards the installation manager. From 1st contact with Betta Living the communication has been atrociouse. Had to chase up why my deposit had not been taken. Surveyor changed our house number fro 16 to 1 and despite many phone calls this was not changed. The kitchen went to number 1 as did the fitters. Told the kitchen would be fitted in 3 days by two fitters, 1 person Steve started on Tuesday, by Friday still no sink and laundry fitting not even started. Piece of trim came off, spare sent to number one and even after yet another complaint the fitter was sent to number one. We then had a water leak, we could not turn the stop cock off as hole in the larder cupboard was too small. Result over £300 water damage to ceilings, in desperation went to the showroom to complain, we were told a manager would contact us, it never happened. Tap loose on sink unit, we reported this to so called customer services in October we were told someone would arrange a service call, we eventually gave up and got a plumber in. In no way would I recommend this company. They are totally disinterested when you have any problems.

Sorry to read of your experience for which I ask that you please accept my apologies. I am aware that a fitter has attended recently so I assume that everything has been corrected? Placed the order for the kitchen in November 2015 and promised to complete before 15th December and ready for Xmas as we were having family get together. The Better Living People material delivery was nothing but useless. They finished the kitchen 3rd week of January 2016. I have written a complaint letter to the owner and he never replied and show room in my area never called me to ask how are we getting on. The customer relations is very poor and soon as they have taken your money you never exists. I bought the Kitchen from Milton Keynes show room, and tried to speak to the manager and he never was there and left messages and never called back. I will never recommend them to my family or friends. Thangarajah (Milton Keynes)

I had a kitchen fitted by Betta Living 2 years ago. The fitting is good and I'm pleased with the quality of the doors, cupboards, work surfaces etc. However I'm not happy with the integrated washer / dryer they fitted. I've had to have people round to look at it several times, and it is currently out of action again needing a part that is out of stock and will take possibly weeks to replace. Also the machine was the wrong size for my kitchen and the fitters had to put it on wooden planks to make it fit so it is very difficult to get in and out. Have paid half of what the appliance cost in getting it repaired

Having used Better Living in the past, we were unaware that they now charge the customer to dispose of the packaging and wood cut for the installation (salesman did not mention this to us)We told the surveyor that the price £6k should include this and he told us he would make the adjustment when the time came to dispose the rubbish. I was told I would initially have to pay and look to be reimbursed. The. Hippo bag wasn't big enough that they recommend to order and I had to dispose of all the extra cardboard, which unknown to me was full of sawdust! The sawdust went everywhere in the car and I had to take the vehicle to be valeted. I explained this to Better Living, this is unacceptable after spending a huge amount of money for me to run around and get rid of the rubbish! This has taken away from the experience of the whole bedroom refurbishment. When a customer spends a significant amount of money they expect a start to end finish job. Having chased the cost of the Hippo bag and cost to get my car valeted I am now told this wasn't agreed....I also had to chase up a refund for the TV that I had to provide as the one they sold to us was discontinued, the job was finished over a month ago. I have to wait another week for this money! I would say to any potential customer a good company is one that offers you a start to finish experience. The after service care Is poor and there's no excuse for treating a customer, let a lone a returning one in such an appalling way. I did give them the opportunity to put this right and call me back to advise of the outcome but no call was forthcoming! Finally, to all future customers when parting with any money ask yourself this "what happens if I need a call back or a refund for anything?!"

Expensive kitchen for what was provided. Units are good. However, the oven was left unconnected. The plumbing was poor - tap has come loose, and it is difficult to get underneath to tighten it - cupboard under the sink was flooded as the drain connection freed itself from its coupling. The company seem uninterested once the kitchen had been fitted. Wish I had gone elsewhere.

We had a lovely bedroom fitted about 18 months ago, just a slight mark on one of the wardrobe doors but the door was replaced the next week with no problem and the fitter was brilliant. We decided we would like some further units fitted along another wall so I gave Betta living a call on 29th December 2015, I spoke to someone called Gareth who looked into our previous contract number and could see the plan of our room, he asked for several measurements of an alcove to ensure we had the correct size and depth of units. He also requested some pictures of the area to be fitted so I emailed them across and was told he would look into this for us and call me back. After 2 weeks I had not heard anything.... I appreciate that I had called in between the Christmas and New year break, so I called again and was told someone would ring me back..... After another 2 weeks had past, and with no call back, I rang again and spoke to Gareth who explained that he had passed our request on to another member of staff.... He even found the email that I had sent to him and that he had forwarded to this other person to deal with, I was told that I would definatley get a call back. After no call back I rang again and spoke to a lady, I explained the whole story again to her and also explained that one of the wardrobe door handles has now come off. She told me that as this was under warranty this would be fixed and she would get someone to call me to discuss the additional units and get the door handle fixed. Yes you have guessed.....no call back. So I rang again today only to be told that there is no record of our request for further units or that there is a wardrobe door handle that needs to be fixed...... I am at an absolute loss.... The customer service for this company is absolutely diabolical.

Felt presured by my the designer to sign on the night even though it was supposed to be a no obligation visit. Was promised a fitting date by the surveyor which turned out to be completely incorrect. The only good thing was the fitter who worked extremely hard & did a great job, however on the first use of the oven there was a fault with the seal & 2 months on we are still waiting for this sorting out after numerous phone calls & since then have been waiting a month for a door replacing & now a LED plinth light has gone so no idea how long we will be waiting for that sorting!

From start to finish there was no problem and hassle free, A awesome design followed by a superb job in fitting it by COLIN TURNBULL very clean and tidy worker and could not fault him one bit, Well recommend better living to anyone.

B70090 We are really pleased with the wardrobes we have just had fitted by Bob and Brett, we had all 3 bedrooms done over 2 days and there work is second to none. They worked so hard. Overall from start to finish all at Betta Living were professional and kept in contact all the way through from design to the end product. Would definitely recommend . Thanks Sandra & Mike

We have a Betta living kitchen booked for install on Monday 23rd of Feb, we had all the goods delivered right on agreed time (8:00AM) by 2 x rearly helpfull delivery guys (Jason + Kevin) who had driven down from Birmingham to Lenham Kent that morning. 5 star so far

From the visit by the designer Paul, to the visit from Dave the surveyor, and the fitting of the bedroom furniture by John, we have received an excellent service from Betta Living. All contacts were made as promised and when the wrong headboard was delivered, I emailed and the Installation manager Don got back to me straight away and ensured that it was replaced with the correct headboard and fitted by Anthony, in time for our new bed to be delivered - thank you for this. It has been very refreshing dealing with a company who do what they say they are going to do and have provided us with the design that was exactly what we wanted. We are very pleased with the finished result and wouldn't hesitate in recommending you and using you again in the future

From the start to the completion of the fitting of the wardrobes, this really has been an absolute pleasure. Well done Betta Living. The fitting and final completion by Gary again was outstanding. I will certainly be using Betta Living in the future.

B60815 Finally returned to carry out remedials 6 months after bathroom completed but caused more damage to adjacent bedroom in the process. A few days later carpet in bedroom soaked and my own plumber identified a leaking pump beneath the bath but unable to repair as behind the bath and out of reach, meaning the bath will have to be removed. Promised a fitter today before 10. 11 am and no one has turned up, meanwhile the carpet is becoming more damaged and the wall and skirting board also, probably hidden damage to floorboards also. Given mobile number of fitter but he is not responding. Don't listen to any response from Lesley as it is all words, nothing happens. Worst company I've ever dealt with, do not touch!

A very big 5 star thank you to Ken, Tommy & Don as I now have matching draws. ( addional draw units to my newly Betta Living fitted bedroom) I am now the proud owner of one of the most beautiful bedrooms. I am very pleased with my new kitchen designed and installed by Betta Living. The woman who designed my kitchen loves her job indeed and she is very experienced. She answered all my questions and gave me unbiased information about their products. The surveyor was also very professional and he checked every detail of my kitchen plan and made sure it would be my perfect dream kitchen. The kitchen fitter Alex is a curtious ,diligent and hard working man . He and his son fitted my Betta Living kitchen to a superb standard. Betta Living called to arrange the date for the kitchen to be delivered. My kitchen was delivered and fitted in the same week!!???? Warning : Betta Living High quality kitchens and excellent service didn't break my bank account!! No hidden fees! Just a great service ???????? Satisfied customer Duxford, Cambridge
