Having just visited one of your stores with money in my pocket to purchase several items I was flabbergasted with the reply to my questions. 1, can I buy bedroom furniture direct as I have a fitter already? I was told NO, "we only sell via a home visit and our fitting service" Ok then...... 2, how much approx would these items cost with fitting etc?. "we couldn't give a price instore, you would have to make an appointment with one of our estimators to visit your home" It appears that Betta Living dont sell bedrooms, or kitchens, just the oppurtunity to have a total unwanted and uneeded stranger in your home for who knows how long selling you something you probably never wanted or needed in the first place. Betta Living must make that much profit from thier installers that they are quite happy to turn cash sales away in store. I would certainly never buy into having to be forced to have a person in my home just to get an idea of costs. Betta Livings directors were most likely double glazing salesmen in the 70's and 80's by this outdated mode of marketing. good luck in the future, I for one would never dream of using your services and would certainly never recomend you.!!!

Our experience with Betta Living started well with a seemingly well informed salesman coming to our house. The follow up appointment with a surveyor was even better and he corrected some errors which the salesman had made. The bathrooms were delivered and it seemed that only the bath panel was incorrect. We let the office know and the right one was promised. The installation date was put back several times, but finally the work began on Tuesday, a day later than the 'final' date we were given. The fitters were pleasant, clean & tidy, helpful and skilled. They finished their work on Saturday and we transferred them their money. On living with the bathrooms for a couple of days, we noticed some small issues and contacted the fitters and the office to get the newly arrived bath panel and the snags dealt with. This is where the nightmare began. It is now 4 months since the bathrooms were 'finished' and despite calling almost daily to try to get things finished we are still no closer to this ideal than we were the day after the fitters left. The calls follow the same predictable format, where the office promise to contact the fitters and NOTHING HAPPENS. We are left with missing cupboard doors and an incorrect bath panel for 4 months (and counting) with no sign that we will ever see the fitters again. The bathrooms come with a ten year guarantee, but given our experience in getting them to finish the job in the first place, we have no faith that anything going wrong in the future will be dealt with at all, never mind satisfactorily. Fine materials and good workmanship let down by appalling customer service. I will not be using this company again.

Disappointed with our consultation today. We have the smallest kitchen on the planet. We were open about our budget and needs. The designer said he would do his best, after measuring up he asked about colour etc - not once did he show us the samples he said he had in his car & gave us a quote of £3180 without -fitting or survey included - if we were to include it would be £5595. You cannot swing a cat in our kitchen, he wasn't creative or offer storage solutions options. He stated that he would do us a favour and draw up the plans and said he'd sacrificed his commission in the price, he asked me to sign them & if we wanted to go ahead we had until Sunday 6pm. Then he would run it through Monday. If we didn't he would just tear everything up. Shocked really because now I'm worried I'm tied into something because I've signed.

After purchasing a fitted kitchen from Betta Living through Next can I suggest you take caution if taking the finance out and read ALL the small print, don't take what the representative tells you as fact. We did and unfortunately took out finance when we had the money to pay outright and are now suffering the consequences. Interest is loaded from day one not at the end of the agreement

New Bedroom Fitted by Ken and Tommy, Would highly recommend these guys nothing too much trouble all question answered ,arrived early and hard days work put in, Would highly recommend Betta Living .Thank you to all the Betta living team

I'm disappointed I have to say. I'm not a one to complain but good customer service is very important and beta living were brilliant throughout the whole process, but then 6 months down the line had a problem with our worktop scuffing and looking very worn (I've looked after it, not used harsh cleaning products on it or anything) and am having to chase and chase for a reply to my complaint. Really disappointed by this because they were so good throughout the initial process and judt want them to fix it and do what's right and fair for their customers.

We had our small bathroom modernised with a different layout agreed with bettaliving.From going into the showroom,meetings with with designer and surveyor and completion of the installation the whole job was done in a friendly but professional way. The layout provided gives the impression of increasing the size of the room while the standard of fitting and quality of work done by Derek and Robert can only be described as exemplary.Probably captured by a comment from Derek "I respect my customers and make sure they get what they want" Certainly recommend paying bettaliving a visit.

B60079 WE DECIDED TO RETURN TO BETTALIVING TO FIT OUR OTHER TWO BEDROOMS FOR ONLY ONE REASON BEING , THAT RAY THE FITTER WOULD RETURN TO DO THE JOB AGAIN.BETTALIVING SHOULD BE PROUD OF HAVING SUCH A HARDWORKING PUNCTUAL,RELIABLE,HONEST,NEAT IN HIS WORK WITH ATTENTION TO DETAIL PERSON WORKING FOR THEM.RAY ALSO WORKED ALONG WITH US IN GIVING US ADVICE AND MAKING SURE WE WERE HAPPY WITH OUR DECISIONS BEFORE GOING AHEAD WITH TASKS. Wendy & Alan Mathers new bedrooms in Warrington. Well what can we say? We have 2 beautifully fitted bedrooms in our new home and they look perfect!! You never know how good they will truly look until the jobs been done. Well I think it's down to the amazing fitters Ken and his (side kick) Tommy. The finished work was truly top notch and boy did they work, even late into the evening. 1 year ago we had a bedroom fitted by Hammonds, a well respected company. We can definitely say Betta Livings fitters were the best and gave a higher standard of fitting. Thanks to them I would recommend the company. Only downfall was a damaged unit top that took too many attempts to re deliver. Thanks boys it's all down to you two!!!!! ??

We've had a kitchen fitted last year and over the course of the year we noticed a few chips on the work surface - when we rang up to complain, I was told that it must have been my fault. If it had been one chip, I would understand but there are several and I as I have never done this before in my life (I am 40 now), I would say that it is very very unlikely I or my wife have done 7 or 8 this in just 1 year. The account number is b41332 if anyone would like to rectify this and recognise that this work surface has not been made to the standard it should have been. A couple of other minor problems -salesman told us that we would not need to have kitchen plastered after they took away old one. The plasterer we had said this was very strange and made some areas very awkward to plaster and should have been done in between. Salesman also never told me the APR rate. Thankfully, that was not a problem as we paid off straight away.

After my mam had her upstairs bathroom fitted less than 6 months ago paying over £6000 for a top quality bathroom. There has been nothing but problems, leaking through to the downstairs kitchen areas ruining the wallpaper and furniture and causing dangerous fungus growth in the kitchen which has been reported by environmental health but still NOT rectified by betta living leaving us without use of the bathroom for over two weeks. Do not recommend them at all very poor customer service, will be taking this further. When informing beta living of this numerous times by email and phone calls they have ignored messages not giving us a date to come and fix these problems.

Good service until installation but if anything goes wrong, you are in big trouble as worst after sales service ever (despite the one year warranty) I got bedroom fittings from the company and was overall satisfied with the quality of work and process till installation BUT when I realised one of the chest of drawers isn't closing properly , it's been 3 months since I made a complaint and have had atleast 15 calls to arrange for time but either 1) after sales don't call you back 2) never have fitters in area 3) if they have fitters in area they dont give you specific time but a day they can come. It's abysmal service and would NOT recommend using the service because of after sales despite good product and pre-sales Gani (West Kensington - London)

After my review 1 month ago , I thank you for a response, I had new plinths delivered within 1 wk, however fitters do not seem to be interested in wanting to return to rectify any faults. Wouldn't recommend and won't be having any further carried out by better living.

B59392 - Worst experience ever and will be seeking legal advise due to the incompetence and poor management by this company. A project that should have taken 12days to complete has gone into 4 weeks and shows no sign of being completed. We paid for a power shower and was told to purchase an additional tank, pump and cylinder to have this. Part of the shower was installed and yesterday and I almost cried when I saw how slow the pressure was. In addition the water sprayed all over the floor due to the poor design of the door. The fitter works when he wants to probably because he has more than one job on the go and when the supplies arrive you either have missing parts or parts that are broken. I have foolishly paid a deposit for my kitchen to be installed by this firm and wiill seek advice as to how to be reimbursed as I shant go through this experience again. A letter of complaint has been sent to the company and I await their response in the hope that my concerns will be addressed. Until then my advise to those that are contemplating using this firm is DON'T.

We had viewed a number of fitted bedroom specialists and only came across Betta Living by accident whilst in the Trafford Centre. We were immediately impressed by the quality of their products so we asked to see a Sales Designer. From Enquiry to Installation there is absolutely nothing you can fault. Melanie at the Stockport Showroom, Simon our Sales Designer, Ross our surveyor, Karen the Installation coordinator and Mike Morley our fitter all exude the level of professionalism that guarantees the exemplary final installation. The icing on the cake is the price, excellent value for money. We have just popped into Stockport to make the arrangements for our third bedroom.

I had my kitchen fitted a month ago and was left with it half finish was told that they would be in touch to finish to rest of the kitchen. As I didn't hear anything in 3 weeks I rang the company to find out what was going on and when would they be here to fix it. They told me they would look into it and ring me back the next day. Its been a week and still haven't heard anything. They were fine to take the money off us but now they have been pay they don't want know. I wouldn't touch them as they don't get back to and promise you things they cant deliver very disappointed and still waiting for my kitchen to be finished.
