The stores are scruffy, dirty and the staff do not look presentable at all and rude. Over the last 5 years you’ve got greedy and not considered freshening up the stores and management taking health and safety more on a daily basis.

I would like to recommend BOBBY from B&M store Wolstanton for his efforts to help me source several items in store. He rang several other stores on my behalf and found items in his store for me. He did this with the great zeal and I Was very impressed with work ethic. Thank you Bobby.... you are a star

Absolute rubbish! Bentley Bridge. I worked hard for 9years 2 months and was sacked for lies good on me even with no evidence of aggression on camera and conflicting statements not going word for word as any decent frame job is done these so called bits of evidence looked over by C.A.V called fishy and blatant slander and liable they up held the decision in an appeal hope they all never darken my path again seriously ruined my life because of these people I may end up homeless!

Visit the Shrewsbury Harlescott store quite regularly for occasional bits. Nearly every single time I visit I am not spoken to at the till, never get even a 'hello'. Usually I have to wait for the member of staff to finish their conversation with either a friend in the store or a colleague before they scan my items despite there being no-one else in the queue, and reluctantly as it's made clear the conversation is far more interesting than doing their job. My items are then cast to the end of the packing area, a hand held out for payment and usually not a thank you afterwards. I work in customer service, if I acted like this even for one shift, I would lose my job. Disgusting 'service'.

Visited the BRUNEL PARK, READING shop yesterday, for the first time. I was disabled and was hubby was struggling with trolley, we were helped by a really kind member of staff, nothing was too much trouble and he found a special disabled trolley. He was even concerned about us getting wet in the pouring rain yesterday. He was too helpful and deserves all the praise possible, thank you so very much. Excellent store.

I regularly visit the Longton store. But I won't anymore. I am appalled by the attitude of Katie on the tills. She was rude a time before but I thought maybe she is having an off day. She was rude AGAIN! I am a manager for a supermarket that shall remain nameless, if Katie was my memeber of staff I would fire her on the spot.

Went to the new B&M in Northampton by Morrisons yesterday. Overall, it was tidy and stocked up (as you would expect for a new store) but not much choice particularly on kitten food. The few products that they had were blocked off by a pallet (literally pressed against the shelving) that a member of their staff was distributing across the aisle. Extremely disappointed with his unwillingness to make it a better shopping experience for customers... He looked at me as he saw my trying to look 'through' him to see what kitten food they had and didn't offer to move the pallet even after hearing me say to my bf "I can't see what they've got". He then cracked on with his job and what I didn't understand was, why couldn't he move it when it was placed in the middle of a very long aisle, and he was stocking up the end of the aisle (surely he could have saved himself the extra journey each time!?)… So first impressions, not great.

Would have given 0 stars. Went to Norwich B&M today with my 50 year old dad and he wanted a little set with a bottle of wine in it. We got to the check out and even though dad put the things through and I stood with him I got asked for ID. I'm 30 years old, but had left my ID at home. The woman behind the counter refussed to sell him the drink set and said if he come back alone she still wouldn't. It was shameful and embarrassing the way she spoke to us. I mean if I'd been a kid and dad had brought a drink set for himself they wouldn't have stopped him. I felt very anxous with people looking at me as if I had done something wrong when I had not, it made me feel Ill after leaving the shop and my dad didn't get his drink set. I will not be going there again if that is they way they treat people. He even showed them his ID. I've never had this happen just for being with him at the time. Disgusting.

Work here or come to shop as a customer, managers will create scenarios regardless on paperwork, create dodgy contracts and make you do Jobs your not supposed to do by breaching contracts - my contract was customer service assistant, I was offered to work in warehouse August 2018, Jeremy area manager, would know this when he worked with M.N - K.N manager came in and moved me from warehouse, and started getting rid of people by bullying them. They had actors people who accuse me, as witnesses and created witness statements enough to get rid of me, they breach to many contracts, and to my guess, and they have just let an innocent person go like me and sacking me over an allegation which didn't happen. The chairman who done my appeal hearing, wrote some words done, couldn't uphold the points by creating fictional lies to defend themselves. They do nothing to find the route cause for bullying and victimisation in the work place, and they are breaking the laws within human rights. They blackmail. B&M Ortongate should be ashamed.

Sold out of date product but when contacted customer services on numerous occasions with confirmation of receipt- I received no reply. Appalling customer service! So if anything goes wrong in store and like me it is a long round trip to go back, don’t rely on customer service to help you! I now have a local store but based on the terrible experience I have received I avoid going there at all costs.
