I walked into Boots looking for advise on makeup and bumped into Emma in the Clarins section. Being a makeup newbie she immediately jumped to the challenge all the while putting me at ease. I walked out of there safe in the knowledge that I can now throw my 20 year old mascara in the bin. Thank you Emma.

I recently went into boots in Chelmer village in chelmsford. I needed to change my foundation as my was too dark. I was introduced to Anne-Marie who did the no 7 skin match. She was absolutely brilliant, so friendly and helpful. Anne-Marie realised that the colour matched was too light and chose the next colour up.....which is absolutely perfect. Please pass on my sincere thanks to anne- Marie. Thanks to her I will now always get my makeup in boots

Struggled to find a perfect gift and boots stores helped me through the phone and offered me options! Great customer care and managed to find a ted baker gift set for only £25!

I had swallowed a fish bone, a few days before this event. The bone had gone down by now, but it had left my throat sore. I went to a local Boots to ask the Pharmacist what he thought would help. He recommended Difflam spray. When i got home I realised he had not asked me if I was on any other medication or what conditions I have. A requirement of all pharmacists when buying something from behind the counter. I discovered that this spray can have issues if you take Asprin, or are asthmatic. I take Asprin, and guess what??? I have asthma. If he had acted professionally and asked the relevant questions I would not have purchased this item. I complained to Boots and spoke to the customer services manager, she thought it right to apologise for my "disappointment" DISAPPOINTMENT? I was angry not disappointed. She was rude and lacked all understanding of my issue. She offered to refund the item, and compensate me with £8 all on a Boots gift card. Not really compensation!!! I noted that the leaflet in the item clearly states that there could be an issue with Asprin and people with asthma. This manager disagrees. She probably knows better than the manufacturer. Please note...If you are being offered a medication from behind the counter the pharmacist must ask you, (a) What other medications you are on, and (b) what conditions you have , if any..... Disgraceful......

I ordered a perfume and the smell was not the same that it supposed to be. I called customer relation. They gave me a reference number in a minute, that I took to the shop. They sorted out my refund, that was on my account on the same day. Perfect customer service.

Found it ok at first but now when I add items into the basket I find that they later disappear as I add more. So frustrating as it's time wasting and half the time I just give up.

been with boots 15years after missing my delivery i phoned and was told would be deliverd next morning i asked for it not to come betwen 11-30 and 12-15 as i was looking after my grandchilldren at there house the man said that thats ok i got home to find a not saying deliverd 11-40 not in when i phoned boots at newland ave hull a young woman told me that as i cant be in when it come i would have to pick it up myself and would be removed from there delivery list i am 72years old with chronic back pain and a bad heart and blocked artris in my legs some days i cant leave the house and need this delivery after all it was there idiea to deliver when i went to the shop this young woman who was dark skined dont know her name was rude and said we have had this conversation made up a new percription and was told to take it to another chemist where is the respect for us older genaration now dont know why boots employ staff that cant have good manners lucky to have a job these days should look after it derek haydon hull
