If I could give them 0 I would. I visited the Boots store located 82-84 HIGH STREET NORTH, E6 2HT on 20.4.24. When I reached the till, I was about to be served and the checkout operator (Mawa), who saw that I was next, proceeded to serve another customer. I politely said, “excuse me” to the other customer and she moved to the side. However, Mawa continued speaking with her and I had to wait to be served, despite being before this other customer. Mawa then proceeded to scan the items in my basket. She was unfriendly throughout. When she finished scanning the items, she said, “Can you give me your advantage card.” I then handed her my card and with the back of her hand, she dismissed me and pointed to the card reader and said, “insert it there.” I was taken aback and asked her why she had asked me for my card rather than ask me to insert it into the reader. At this point, she shouted out to her colleague, Billie, “You can serve her. I am not serving her!” Her colleague then approached the till. I asked her colleague to write down Mawa’s name as well as their manager’s name. In a mocking tone, Mawa said to her colleague, “yes, write down my name.” I told her that she was unprofessional and I was going to report her to head office. Mawa’s colleague did not write down Mawa’s name or the manager’s name, as I had requested. I then asked her again for these details. Mawa’s colleague slammed the receipt onto the counter and said,” her name is on there!” I asked her where the 2 names were, that I had requested. She then pointed to the name “Mawa” at the top. I asked her to write down the manager’s name. This was the third time I had requested these details. As both women were clearly mocking me, I took out my mobile phone to take a photograph of Mawa, as I wanted to ensure I was complaining about the correct person. Mawa then shouted out in front of several customers, “You cannot take my photograph without my consent!” I told her that I did not require her consent and again said that I was going to make a formal complaint about her conduct. The Manager of this branch called me and he was more interested in the photograph I had taken of this staff member to provide to head office rather than address his rude and unprofessional staff members. Head office have ignored all emails and telephone calls. Clearly Mawa has no customer service skills and is in need of training. This company is unprofessional and I would never recommend them to anyone.

Always a joy to shop here as the staff are polite and will go out of their way to assist customers who need help. I took back a shaver as it didn't meet expectations and, after a quick word with manager, the salesman made a refund without question. Only reason it drops a star is that it is not always the cheapest place to go and sometimes there is a queue on Saturdays but that's the weekend for you!

Visited the Southampton Above Bar store this morning, no staff members in sight around the till. Older lady not sure how to use the self serve so we helped her, at least 4 or 5 of the self serve machines flashing red as people needed assistance. For the whole time we were helping the lady and then buying our item there was no sign of any member of staff, just the security guard on the door. Really poor customer service and sorry to say this is often the case in Boots now, very few staff members are ever around and we have had instances before where items have been security tagged and we haven't been able to get help with them.

Did an on line order and chose click and collect date to coincide with a date I would be in store location ( helping with carbon footprint). Didn't hear anything on date so called in to store anyway. Told by store staff that my order along with seven others had been 'lost'. Store staff couldn't do anything as ' nothing to do with them'. Customer service absolutely abysmal. Just said I had to wait another 7 days. Why? Could customer service not have emailed me? Will never shop in Boots or use .com ever again

Is this even legal? I placed an order online yesterday and paid with Apple Pay; I was a bit surprised that there was no confirmation screen for me to check the details before placing the order, but the process seemed quick and slick so I wasn't complaining. Today I logged into my account and noticed that the delivery address had been transferred from Apple Pay incorrectly, the street name doesn't appear in Boots' system. To be clear, this was an automatic transfer of the address, I wasn't involved in any way- also, I don't have any problems with other suppliers when I use Apple Pay, so I imagine the problem is with Boots and them alone. So I called customer service and explained the problem. The apologised politely enough and then POINT BLANK REFUSED to change any part of the delivery information! Instead they want me to wait for an email from the Post Office, then try to arrange delivery to the correct address - i.e. the Post Office and I need to work together to fix Boots' error! I'm not even sure this is possible as I'm pretty sure some Post Office deliveries cannot be changed or rescheduled once they send their confirmation email - but I'll have to wait and see once the email arrives. Is it even legal to send goods to an incomplete address, knowing that the buyer will not receive them?

Boots withheld information from me to extract money. I used their online prescription service which said I would be able to pick up my prescription between 2-24 hours later. I called up to find out how long it would really take and was told…definetly more than 24 hours as there was a bit of a queue. I asked why this wasn’t updated on the website. No clear answer to that. I asked if there was any way I could get it sooner. Definetly not I was told. The online service also costs money. That was a lie. They should have told me to pop to my local boots and within 20 mins I could have my repeat prescription for free. When I tried to get a refund they were difficult. I’m trying to complain they won’t send me their complaints procedure or update me on what they have done. Appalling, immoral and inept. Don’t use them.

**Absolutely Abysmal Service at Northampton Weston Favell Boots Pharmacy** I am beyond furious with the appalling service I experienced at the Weston Favell Boots pharmacy. The level of incompetence and disorganization is absolutely shocking, and it’s a wonder how these people even got their jobs in the first place. Last weekend, I went to the pharmacy to get a medicine that was out of stock. I was assured it would be ordered and ready for collection by Monday or Tuesday. Today, Friday afternoon, I returned to collect the prescription, only to be met with sheer incompetence. The woman at the counter asked for the name and date of birth of the patient, which I provided. She then inquired if it was a yellow prescription, to which I confirmed. When she asked if it was from a GP, I clarified that it was a paper prescription from a dentist. Despite giving her all the necessary details, she couldn’t find the prescription and asked who I handed it to. I pointed out the tall lady, who initially claimed she wasn’t working last weekend. After a moment of confusion, she backtracked and admitted that she was indeed working last weekend but got confused with her schedule. This level of forgetfulness and confusion is absolutely unacceptable in a medical environment. How can someone so old, unfit, and disorganized be allowed to handle prescriptions where precision is critical? I left in absolute rage, taking back the prescription. The tall lady’s incompetence and disorientation are a serious risk to patient safety. Her inability to remember simple details and her apparent confusion about her own work schedule make her completely unfit to work in any medical capacity. It’s disgraceful that such a person is employed in a pharmacy. This experience was infuriating and deeply concerning. I strongly urge everyone to avoid this pharmacy if they expect even a basic level of competence and reliability. The service here is a complete joke, and it’s dangerous to entrust your health to such inept and careless staff. .

Cambridge Newmarket Road. Yesterday first thing. Bought items and went to check out. Young man in dirty looking, un ironed t shirt never spoke a word. No good morning, pointed to money needed to make purchase and no thank you or goodbye. What a world.

I have been trying to get a refund for an item I never collected from Boots, they have been really difficult and tried to avoid giving a refund, now been told another 30 days for an item I never even had. What a shambles, shocking customer service, ignoring my emails and not replying to FB messages in a timely manner. I wonder how many refunds are stashed in their bank that should be back to customers. This should be illegal

Absolutely appalling use of excessive plastic packaging on vitamin supplements. In a bottle of 180 tablets, they didn’t even fill the bottle half way up. I had to count the tablets to make sure that there hadn’t been an error.

If i could give boots online no stars I would. Honestly this is the worst service I have every received. Having ordered the same medication for months and months with an average of £250 per order, I decided to go elsewhere. I am not one to not give second chances so when my new supplier didn't allow me to collect ( which is preferred as its refrigerated medication), I returned. Only to asked a million questions which i responded to almost immediately, then the order was never processed, I am talking over 5 days. Leaving me without this medication. Its honestly a shambles, online meds are supposed to be an easier way in ordering medications but its anything but, totally useless and not fit for purpose. When challenged Boots simply say its not our problem its boots.com and runs separately, zero ownership taken even though Boots take the money before ordering, beware I wont be going back and will advise everyone in my network to avoid this franchise, Superdrug has always delivered on their promises, its a pity they don't have the medication I am on!

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Ordered 7 items online. When the package arrived it contained 6 correct items and one incorrect item. I took a photo of the open box with the items and contacted "customer care" to inform them of the error. They told we to return the item and sent me a dead link to a return form. So I tried again and requested another return form. This time the link worked, I sent the item I had received in error back with a note explaining that I was missing one item from the order. 2 weeks later. Nothing. Chased for an update and was told someone would look into it. Another few days passed. Nothing. Chased again to be told the "investigation" into the case was ongoing and could take a further 21 days! Finally on 3/7 (order placed 25/5), I received an email to say my return was "suspicious" and they were not accepting it. No mention of the item I had ordered and whether they would send it or refund the money I had paid them. I questioned why it was "suspicious" and explained the whole saga again, sending photographic evidence of their incompetency, only to receive another email to say their decision is final. I will not be receiving the item I ordered or receive a refund for the £5 I had paid for the item. Apart from being appalling customer service, that's theft and in breach of consumer rights. If I order a product and pay for it, I should receive it. "The customer is always dishonest" in the eyes of Boots. Well, I am no longer a customer. I hope you spend my £5 wisely and the "customer care" sleep well knowing they're essentially stealing money from customers pockets. Please don't buy from Boots. Find an independent retailer, one who actually cares about its customers.

Very bad customer service. I couldn't believe when I was refused a refund for no reason- the only big company in UK who doesn't do 30 days refunds! After ordering from boots I changed my mind and asked them for refund in the Stratford Westfield Store and they tell me NO 'you should contact customer service'.... There is no chat on the website, no reply to emails... I have never been refused a refund of unopened new products in UK. Avoid at all cost! I will never will shop there again! And I was a really good customer , last two years I spent at least 2 800 pounds there! Never again!

Awful website Permanently crashes and doesn’t upload. Offers aren’t applied at checkout and even took a gift card payment never to be seen again. You could go in store but staff are very unfriendly in my experience. Not great and would not be surprised to see stores closing soon,

Awful service. Placed an order, which should have arrived to Click&Collect one week ago. Called the customer service team, and talked to Maya. They told me the store made a mistake, which will be investigated, taking 21 days. After investigation, the product will be refunded, taking another 3-5 days. Boots made a mistake, and it takes me over a month to get my money back, and won't even get the product delivered. Won't ever recommend Boots to anyone. Stay away from this company! Awful service!

One online order for standard items to click and collect was split into two separate packages. Only one has been delivered to store and collected by me with the app stating the other has been collected (untrue). The store staff have checked their system to confirm not yet received. Unhelpful online response from Customer Services other than to wait another 7 days past original EDD.!! Hopeless system and service and currently £70 adrift with no refund offered. AVOID !!
