Shame on Boots be very wary if you have a gift receipt Boots do not honour the price paid you get sale price why do gift receipts and make money out of your customers my daughter would have given the actual receipt if she had been told lost 30%!of price paid other companies do not operate this way it is a Christmas rip off would have expected better of such a company

two complaints. 1st not allowed to redeem advantage card points to buy a gift card . Seriously mean spirited . 2nd short changed deliberately by a shop assistant because she did not have a penny. She consiously gave me 2p change when she owed me 3p saying she did not have a penny. She should have sourced the penny or given more than i was due to the nearest denomination available. Not about the money but the principle. Huntingdon Boots seriously not up to speed

I was away for New Year and left my Clarin’s moisturiser at home. Thought not a problem would pop into Boots and ask for a sample to tide me over. There was no one on the Clarins counter so I asked the girl on the counter opposite, who was doing nothing and said girl was on holiday, go to Debenhams quite rudely. I walked down to the Bare Minerals counter to ask a question lovely girl called Annabel who was very helpful. I explained what had just happened she said that they didn’t have a Clarins consultant at the moment she left before Christmas and bless her got a pot and put some cream in it for me off the Clarins counter. She has changed my review from no stars to 5 ⭐️ why couldn’t the girl before if offered to do it. The other counter behind Clarins gad 5 staff just chatting not good

Tried to add £3.16 advantage card points from receipt today but was told this can’t be done as receipt hasn’t been VERIFIED at time of purchase......sales assistant failed to do this....or mention that I couldn’t do this...whose fault is it then...won’t be rushing back to Boots for next purchase in a hurry. Only purchased said item 1 week ago...maybe take it back for a refund and shop elsewhere.

Just wanted to commend Jade, It Cosmetics, at New Mersey Retail Park, Liverpool. She is a delightful, friendly, professional member of staff who always goes the extra mile. She has given me great advice on a number of occasions and always remembers me. She provides a truly kind and personalised service. Thank you.

I went into Boots main store in Chelmsford Essex today. I asked if there was a trolley I could use and was directed to some ‘trolleys’, which were like 2 baskets - one above the other- with 4 plastic wheels. The trolley had a mind of it’s own - what a nightmare!!! When I got to the checkout, the young lady who served me - Natalie - was brilliant! She packed my bags and, seeing how I was struggling with the trolley, took it back for me ( there is nowhere to put it at the checkouts, so it has to be taken back). If it wasn’t for the impractical, useless trolley, I would have given 5 stars. Thank you Natalie.

Just bought Benadryl Allergy One A Day 10mg tablets containing Cetirizine. WHAT A TOTAL RIPOFF! £9.99 for 30 tabs The exact same drug (10mg Cetirizine) is available from Amazon - 6 months supply (180 x 10mg Cetirizine tablets) for £3.35. That's 33p per tablet from Boots and 1.8 pence per tablet from Amazon. Boots is 17.73 times more expensive!!

Online order, delivered to store. They sent the wrong items. Okay, people make mistakes, but the process to put this right was appalling. A ten email thread, just to get to the point where I am told that I have been refunded and will get my money back within 3 to 5 days - or 14 if you believe yet another email that arrived at the same time. Oh and they’re deducting my Advantage Card points - petty, much?

I was told by a pharmasist that senacot IBS relief tablets, or indeed Immodium could'nt be sold without a prescription? so I visited another non boots chemist and bought what I needed. They'll probably end up like Tesco, Dixons, McDonalds, and many more that have left Stretford Mall.

A lovely lady called Tanya works at Cardiff Bay on the No7 counter. What an absolute star she is. I went in for some advice on a skincare regime & she was amazing. You can tell how passionate Tanya is about the beauty industry as she took her time to assess my skin, recommended suitable products & explained how each product would work & how often to use it. Conversation was effortless & I left the store with confidence knowing how to use the new products now I had a routine. Tanya is a breath of fresh air who deserves to be recognised for her great customer service. She is a true asset to Boots.

Sale on. All checkouts full. Asked lady on perfume counter if she was putting through all boots items on her checkout or just the brand she was selling. Said you would put my items through. So I waited quite a while as she served the customers in front of me. She then said she would serve the customers behind me, as she recognised they had products off her stall. I objected as I had been waiting over 20 minutes saying they should wait there turn. She said she would serve them first as they had some of her products among there shopping. Telling me I should expect to que on sale day. And that that I should go and start queing again at the main checkout. She then went on to serve a further 2 customers before me, who simply waved her products at her to jump the que. I do expect to que on sale days . I did ask if she was serving every body. Charlotte of lancaster your attitude stinks. Your customer service is nil. I will not be shopping at boots again.

Newport, Isle of Wight branch. Served by a lady on the Clinique counter just before Christmas. Made it quite obvious that my purchase was not Clinique and I shouldn’t have really gone to her, despite her having no one queuing near her till. Maybe a change in her attitude would encourage more people to purchase Clinique items from her

Boots Sunbury History – 8+ years repeat prescriptions. Have regularly been sent text notifications of prescription ready for collection…..for another person in my area with the same name, then they failed to advise me when my repeat was ready, thus, to alieve aggravation, forced me to diarise when repeats were ready. Boots repeat system clearly not fit for purpose(?) Present – Tried to collect my repeat today (23/12) but was told not ready as too soon to collect (due for issue on 31 Dec). When I told the pharmacist I would be away, she advised it was my issue as I’d not told them I was to be away. She confirmed they had my tabs in stock, but could not issue prior to 31 Dec. I advised her of my previous issues with their ability to dispense but was met with a cold stare and sarcastic “You should have advised us if you were going away”. Now I understand why Boots Sunbury display multiple signs advising CCTV was in operation and advising not to be abusive. In context, there were 4+ staff working in pharmacy/dispensing, I was 2nd in line on arrival, and still had to wait neigh on 10 minutes to be seen to – yes, Boots, you have the staff records/ CCTV to confirm this. Future – Called my doctors practice (Sunbury Health Centre) today who answered within 2 minutes (pretty much the norm in my experience) – suggested I pop down to the surgery today, fill in a repeat prescription form, and it would be available from Tesco Sunbury in 3 days. As much as I prefer dealing with a pharmacy, Boots have done themselves in. Frustrating for me, but then, vote with your feet.
