“Ok. So this product is not my favorite but it is pretty good. It's loud and allows me to hear people talking. It doesn't work well with watching TV though. I could barely hear the TV even though it's not that far from where I sit. It's easy to charge and carry around. It doesn't make a squeaky high pitch noise when grabbing and putting on. It hard to not touch the that make it do that when trying to put on.”
“Work ok in mornings. as day goes on seem to have to turn up volume . Was in a restaurant and had to remove to hear peopla at my table. Good amplifiers but do no make things clearer to hear just louder.”
“Feedback from my own voice. Too cumbersome, don't fit ear properly, very awkward, part of aid hangs out of ear. They are very visible to others. Good at home or dark theaters where no one sees you. Get what you pay for.”
“very uncomfortable always feels like i have something jammed in my ear the hole in my ear canal is not round it is more of an egg shape, and there is a constant clicking noise whenever i turn my head.”
“They do help with hearing however fit has been a problem. My husband cannot get them to fit and stay in even after trying all the ends provided. They actually fall out when he tries to chew his food. We have no had good results..”

“I can hear well with these hearing aids. Big problem, I cannot keep them in my ears. I've tried all the tips and none of them will stay in. I can only wear them in the house. I would not recommend them!”
“The Proton Max is not a bad hearing aid for the price. However, I was not aware I was ordering such new technology that they don't even have the wax guards available on line yet! You can only order over the phone, and have to give your credit card number to a person. I only use my credit card on line when it is encrypted! So now-- I have two worthless hearing aids because the wax guards need to be changed-- but I can't get replacements. I think the company should have sent more than just 2 with the original order-- since they still don't have them available on line!”
“Not totally happy with these. But giving it another chance. When I put them in… They did amplify the room around me… But when I speak, I’m speaking inside my head. It sounds like I have cotton in my ears. I did contact customer service… And they have explained to me how to handle this situation. So I’m giving it another try.”

I find the sound is very sharp. Also, I can hear all other noises around me even chewing or swallowing, my own footsteps , etc.
One question: do I have to wear both hearing aids (L and R) together? I try to adjust the sound level but, for me left side is quite loud even at the lower sound level but right side is not that loud at the higher level.”
“I didn't realize when I bought these that they were the same as one of the other aids I have. They are about the same because they are hard to increase the volume without getting whistles and screeching noises. Then when they go away the sound volume does not change. The real problem I am having is not receiving the credit for the other pair you sent and I returned to the post office about 2 weeks ago. This is what I was instructed to do to get the $77.53 refund. I would like that returned immediately.”
