We advertise the expiry dates on the voucher prior to purchase, and we also print the expiry date on the voucher itself. When purchasing a voucher you will be asked to put in billing address information and delivery address, if the voucher was in your name you must have entered this in to the delivery address box.
I am sorry for any confusion or disappointment this causes, however we do try and make the delivery information as clear as possible for all of our customers.

“Booked in for a spa day for my partner and I with lunch. Very disappointed with the spa. Wasn't clean, and quite small. The 1 toilet in the changing room was vile, the sanitary bin was overflowing leaving a terrible smell and lots of flies. The shower was leaking constantly and maintenance workers walking around the spa in their dirty boots.
Lunch was very nice however. Good choice on the menu and lovely staff. Only good part about the 3 hours we spent there.”

“We went on the Glass boat on the Thames.The food was sub standard.It was meant to be a special birthday for my husband.zwe were located a waiter who spent all night fussing around a couple next to us who seemed to have different food .As a nurse equality is uppermost in all I do.We were treated appalling,waiting up to 25 minutes for a drink whilst our waiter took copious amounts of photos for the other couple. And even getting the band to play a song "Just for them,no body else".I could have overlooked the poor menu,and poor view ...not as advertised,but our service treatment was humiliating.I left tearful and hungry.What was meant to be a really special night was ruined.I would expect you to address this .”

The experience was brilliant and the response from customer service was prompt and detailed, but I still feel that if you buy an experience as a gift, the recipient shouldn’t be expected to top up. “We bought a beatles story experience at first I thought that this was good value for money especially with some discount that I got as it worked out a lot cheaper than the door price, when I tried to use the voucher they were stating that it was not valid, and I had to go online to redeem this, I explained several times that I had done this but would still not work, eventually after being stood there roughly half an hour ,
the manager stated that she had, had a lot of trouble with these vouchers and that she would sort it out and to go through, the museum was not like I imagined it to be I found it too much and overwhelming, we do like the beatles but not to live, love and breathe them”

“I purchased a Buyagift fo a 2 night break for 2, I emailed the BB and told them I had a Buyagift and asked if they had rooms available in Sept they responded to say they were fully booked for Sept but had availability for October, the same day I emailed the BB requesting they reserve me one of their rooms in October but a few day later they replied saying they were fully booked, after 6 email they still would not offer us a date when we could stay. I think this was because I had a Buyagift Voucher.”

I'm sorry to hear you've had problems trying to book a date for your hotel stay. All the hotels that we work with do aim to accommodate as many Buyagift customer bookings as possible, but some hotels may be fully booked at certain times. The hotels do have a set number of room allocations for Buyagift vouchers and once this quota has been filled they may have to advise certain dates are fully booked. To minimise any disappointment this may cause, the hotels will always try to make extra rooms available where possible. In addition to this, Buyagift always aim to add information regarding limited availability to the product webpage and also to the My Voucher site.
If you are unable to make a booking with any of the hotels of your choice on your preferred dates, you are always welcome to extend or exchange your voucher. Simply log into www.buyagift.com/myvoucher to either:
· Extend the validity period of your voucher for a further time period (validity periods will be clearly shown for all hotels) OR
· Exchange your voucher for a brand new experience - another hotel stay or something completely different.
