“I started by signing up to emails and applied for the discount code to be used against a first purchase however when I went to book an experience the discount wasn’t available. No where did it say the discount was for certain experiences only therefore I had assumed it would be used on any first purchase. I felt let down and misled, especially as someone recommended your website to me who had previously booked the same experience and had been able to use the discount code.”

We always aim to offer the best value on our products by reducing prices or sharing discount codes - we love a bargain at Buyagift!
However, some products cannot have additional discount codes applied to them I’m afraid. I'm sorry if this is disappointing but rest assured we really do try and keep all our prices competitive and ensure that codes, where possible, can always be used.

“My daughter bought me a buy a gift voucher for a two night stay in a hotel.
This morning we sent three hours trying to book a hotel for the end of March which isn’t exactly peak season. We made a list of the areas and hotels where we wanted to stay. Then I tried to book them. Absolutely impossible. They either didn’t take the vouchers at a weekend or only did it in the quiet months or for certain days. . Also the vast majority of them didn’t offer breakfast.
This was a total waste of our time. One woman offered me one night for the two night voucher. She said she couldn’t possibly do the end of March for two nights for the price of the voucher. So what is the point of purchasing one in the first place. We ended up looking at areas which we weren’t interested in. In the end we looked at Airbnb , got exactly what we wanted and for better value than Buyagift and booked within 20 minutes.
Will never use Buyagift again. There are better deals out there which are easier to book.”

I'm sorry to hear you've had problems trying to book a date for your hotel stay. All the hotels that we work with do aim to accommodate as many Buyagift customer bookings as possible, but some hotels may be fully booked at certain times. The hotels do have a set number of room allocations for Buyagift vouchers and once this quota has been filled they may have to advise certain dates are fully booked. To minimise any disappointment this may cause, the hotels will always try to make extra rooms available where possible. In addition to this, Buyagift always aim to add information regarding limited availability to the product webpage and also to the My Voucher site.
If you are unable to make a booking with any of the hotels of your choice on your preferred dates, you are always welcome to extend or exchange your voucher. Simply log into www.buyagift.com/myvoucher to either:
· Extend the validity period of your voucher for a further time period (validity periods will be clearly shown for all hotels) OR
· Exchange your voucher for a brand new experience - another hotel stay or something completely different.

“Buyagift responded to my earlier review. However, their response was not acceptable. The e-voucher failed to print clearly on all three occasions and was not suitable to give as a gift. The email they sent me following purchase led me to expect a gift pack to arrive and making a charge to protect ones self from a possible £2.5K liability in the event of an accident, with this hidden in the notes section is entirely unacceptable - very much the American approach - cheap up-front until you actually buy all the bits you really need to make it work.
