I ordered a physical voucher as a leaving present and chose next day delivery so that it would arrive in good time for a colleague’s last day. It didn’t arrive at all. When I got through to customer services (live chat only, no phones) it transpired that the packing team had not sent it out. To be fair to the customer services they immediately sent an e-voucher and refunded the delivery fee, which is why I’ve given a second star, but I was still left with nothing to wrap up and would have preferred it not to happen at all.

Hi you wrote that price is with 2 meals breakfast and diner. But is only breakfast. You just fishing 🎣 🙄. Now I have to pay extra. Is not fer.

Very limited time frame for a gift voucher that we cannot redeem and cannot be extended. A swap seems to be possible but you cannot see what you are signing up, where it is nor whether a suitable date is available - within the tight time scale! Hopeless. Don't waste money.

Bought theatre tickets through Buyagift, which advertised a 22% discount. Upon purchasing and booking seat options I looked at theatre website to discover that I had not been given any discount whatsoever. In fact I had been charged more!!! It was very time consuming and frustrating trying to get a refund or relevant priced seats. I eventually got a refund for the balance. (No discount given) Therefore it is false advertising, and took a lot of inconvenience to recover my monies, I should have just booked at normal prices through the theatre website. Personally I was expecting a small compensation gesture, or the stated 22% discount, for the inconvenience and time consumed with emails and stress, as a ‘sorry for the stress, we messed up and you had no discount given on your purchase’ payment. Be careful with your purchases. I shall definitely be double checking your said offers for any future purchases.

Bought family pass for the circus so was very disappointed not be able to use it but was giving a refund easily

It wasn’t made clear on purchase of vouchers that only a certain number of vouchers could be used on each jet boat ride, which then limited the timings available. Got sorted in end but would rather have paid the full amount and get the time I wanted.

Customer service disgraceful. I brought 2 buy a gift vouchers and have only received 1. Tried for to days now trying to get hold of customer service to find out where the other voucher is. Been kept on the phone twice for over an hour and a half then get cut off. It is a disgrace. I’ve also sent two complaints through there complaints form and still nothing. If they carry on like this I’m afraid they will loose customers. If I don’t here back I will contact my credit card company to get my money back.

Bought a voucher for a hotel in London charing cross. It’s only when you try to redeem the voucher and book a hotel is when you find out that the hotels that can be used with the voucher are all around Heathrow and over airports. If you want to stay at a hotel around London, you need to pay extra on top of what you’ve already paid. It’s not written in the fine print but I got a refund because it’s a very misleading offer. Not impressed and will not buy anything from here again.

The afternoon tea was not what I was expecting, the portion size of the sandwiches were terrible. I was not happy with the service either.

I bought a gift which I believed to be one gift, even though it was for 2 different venues, but it came as 2 vouchers. It was for the Shard, then dinner at Galvin, but I expected to present it as one gift, I really did'nt want it to be 2 different vouchers.

Firstly, I signed up to receive a ‘new customer’ discount code to use with my purchase but this was not emailed to me. I spent 25 minutes in a ‘customer service chat’ queue waiting to resolve this problem whilst my gift was in the basket. To be fair, the assistant was very helpful arranged a refund for the discount voucher I didn’t receive but I had to pay for the item in full first & provide an order number. However, I am STILL waiting the the gift to arrive in its special gift envelope! This is so disappointing as this was for a friend’s special birthday last Saturday. Here we are on Monday & it’s still not arrived. Come on BUYAGIFT Company - get your act together! You’ll be losing customers otherwise.

I have made a complaint as the gift vouchers I received in the post are not the experiences I have ordered and paid for. I am concerned that the gifts I bought have been delivered to someone else!

Site was easy to use and payment was taken quickly BUT I still haven’t received my gift certificate after a week. This was very disappointing as it was for a child’s birthday.

Your site states free postage then when you try to edit the £1.99 shipping costs it wont work. I also am still waiting for my purchase to arrive 5 days after I made the order.

I bought a buyagift to book London theatre tickets. I was aware that I might have to pay an extra fee depending on what seats I wanted however When it came to ordering the tickets the fee was a set fee with no account of what price the tickets were,I ended up paying £25 more for the tickets than it would have cost at theatre price,it was a hard lesson to learn.I couldn’t go for a refund as voucher used before I realised how much it was costing

Have booked a spa day and afternoon tea but once I got to book this the nearest hotel from Dover is Maidstone and this hotel does not provide afternoon tea! When looking at changing my voucher it was quoting £99 which is ridiculous 😐 I have also sent an email to your complaints team and not had a reply. Very disappointing

I purchased 5 vouchers for a Two Night Memorable Break with Dinner for Two (10 nights) in January 2022 costing £680. So far I have been unable to book any of the nicer featured UK options for May, June or July this year, and some have very expensive upgrades. Only a few dates at the less attractive locations exist, so we need to rethink our holiday plans. This is obviously very disappointing & we are unlikely to buy vouchers again.
