“Engraved crystal tankard received well packed and despatched within a few days. Great product and really pleased with the quality. The only small problem was the courier company made three attempts to deliver but wouldn't leave the parcel in a cupboard at the side of the property unless they had written instructions. Eventually left it with a neighbour. Haven't had this problem with other couriers in the past but I guess they are just being over cautious.”

“Bought a tankard for an 18th birthday present. Unfortunately instructions for engraving were not followed correctly, however when the problem was pointed out, buyatankard.com dealt with the issue immediately. They offered to replace the tankard or refund the engraving cost. Excellent customer service and a wonderful product. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone wanting to purchase a beautiful tankard. Thank you for your excellent customer service.”

“Tankard arrived very quickly and was of beautiful quality. Only glitch for me was the placing of the initials which I assumed would be to the right of the handle, but in fact were to the left, facing the drinker. Might be a good idea on the website to have customer state if initials are to be on the right or left of handle and not assume which side they want them. I was a little disappointed over this.”

“The service was excellent and I would from buyatankard.com again. The tankard itself -- the handle in particular -- was slightly lower quality than I'd expected from the photos, and the tankard needed a bit of cleaning, but I think the price I paid was fair.”

Hi Marijn, Its so good to know you are pleased with your tankard, we are just sorry to hear you had to give it a clean. It should have reached you in perfect condition. What the marks might be is residue from a type of polish we use. All our pewter items are handmade and in the finishing processed they are polished with a really thick and heavy polish, this is what makes the pewter so shiny. Very occasionally some of the polish is missed and it can form dark marks on the pewter and can look like scratches or discolouring of the metal. I am really pleased you were able to clean this off. ~ Sam

“I purchased two tankards. They are beautiful and a great price. The only thing that disappointed me is that the rim of the tankard is very sharp. I invited a friend to have a drink with me and we both almost cut out lips with the sharp edge. ***I would rather pay more for this tankard*** and have them round off the rim should that take more time as they are lovely tankards. Unless they make this change, I would not purchase another one of these tankards; however should they ever make this change, I would purchase the tankard many times as gifts for friends.”

“My custom tankard turned out great. The custom Logo was done well though it is just slightly off center but its barely noticeable. The image was quite complex and Im very happy with how it turned out. They did an outline version of the image so none of the shading shows up but still done very well. Great quality product overall. This was a gift for my father with our family coat of arms and I liked it so much I will most likely get more for my brothers and myself.”

It's not common for this to be off centre, however this can appear that way simply due to the logo, it will have been centred. “ordering was easy, goods arrived in good time but on unpacking one tankard was clean the other was still a bit dirty with the buffing polish still in nooks and cranny's which we had to clean off.”

“I received my order -- a gift to a friend -- much quicker than I anticipated, so that was a massive plus because I didn't have to worry about not getting the present in time. I did leave instructions to make the lettering of some of the engraving on the tankard bigger (as illustration suggested this could be done). Sadly these instructions were not followed -- would have been 5 stars if they had. My friend still liked the present so all in all I am pleased with buyatankard.com”

“website sizes of goblets a little misleading, I ordered a 5 inch one, neve did I think it was going to be 5 inches in total! I thought it was a 5 inch cup! but the staff in the shop when I went to collect the goblet were very very good, they took onboard what I said and helped me find a replacement to my liking.”
