“It's misleading, if not a straight-up scam.
They add hidden fees, and they don't disclose them! I attached a picture: the subtotal was different from the total, showing ZERO fees in between, claiming it was a free delivery for the store we had chosen.”
“I placed my order at 2:30 yesterday, I was told it would come between 5-6 pm at 6:15 I sent a message asking where it was as I had work at 7 pm I was told it would arrive after 7, so I had my daughter wait on it only to find at 7:30 it still had not arrived. I text them again and said I needed it there before at got home from work at 9, I was told it would arrive between 9-10 am the next morning and now I'm after getting another message saying it will not be here until after 12:30. Sorry now but this is ridiculous. I had to cancel my order as I just don't have time to be pussyfooting around”

“I use Buymie frequently, so handy. People complain about how expensive the fees they charge are but the fact they pay their drivers an actual living wage is fantastic. If you have issues with how expensive it is then you have issues with them paying their staff a fair wage. Getting groceries delivered is always going to be at a premium. You are paying for convenience, safety, the driver getting a living wage and the company's operating fees. Nothing shady about that! It is not the same as Tesco delivery - it's a premium service so you pay premium... durr. I am so glad this app exists! A godsend during lockdown! Excellent customer service too. Try it out!!”
“I have complained every single time I use this service. The drivers don't wear masks, some even insist on following me into my property (I collect my groceries outside and I wear a mask). Today I was charged extra for plastic bags that I didn't order nor consent to paying for. Keep at them if you are entitled to your refund. I got refunded for the bags when I asked to be shown how I am legally obliged to pay for them. Absolute scammers!”
“Have to agree with a lot of reviews here over priced delivery hidden costs. Shopper was good no problem but company are a rip off.
Check the small print charge for bags, delivery charge, plus 13.75% min charge also if under 40 euro shop another supplement charge.
So in my opinion and many others avoid.
I don't understand why lidl, Dunnes, Tesco use this company has to be bad for them it's put me off shopping with lidl aldi all the way from now.

2) Missing item, their customer service even not bother to do the correct calculation, made a lot excuses to not give you the correct refund.
3) Hidden charges. Charged €2.6 for 3 Lidl bags even after they charged €10 for Processing & Platform Fees.”
“I’m very very happy with the service!! Is it expensive, yes! However, I had no way of getting to a shop a few times and no way of booking any other delivery on such short notice.. so I was more than happy to pay. They actually deliver on time too and with the app you’re aware where they are all the time!! Drivers were helpful and nice. Some of the items were a lot cheaper than other major supermarkets and the delivery is cheaper so it kind of evens out in certain cases.. would highly recommend if you’re in a pickle..”

“!!DON'T BUY!! It should be clear and easy but I had work with this for half the day.
1st: one of three of my shopping bags was forgotten in their car and I had to get in touch with them to get my complete groceries, because if I didn't, they would've just charged me without getting informing me
2nd: they adjusted my bill 2 times because there seemed to be too high of a charge, but then they decided it was right at the beginning and changed it back. So confusion not only on my part but also with them
3rd and thats the main point!: !HIDDEN COSTS! They advertise free delivery but what about the platform cost? The processing fee? The VAT fees? Paid ~12€ more although "free delivery".”
“Outrageously expensive. Too many fees, unclear until you have created a cart what all the fees will be. Platform fees plus delivery fees plus the option to add a tip. Totally ridiculous product. Even with €15 off voucher for first time use, it's poor value.”
“Don’t use this service it’s too expensive. The total Bill was €62.59 with free delivery. Bank account debited €90.27 when order placed. The order could not be delivered for three days. I had a further €1 debited from account today so I don’t know what that for.”
“Would highly discourage you from using this. 40% of the items were out of stock but you are charged the full amount so you'll be waiting at least 10 days to get that back. Then additional time for this to be credited to your bank account as it's originally sent to your buymie account. (I'm still waiting for this part)
At least 3 items out of an order of 14 were completely wrong and kind of random. I've been changed almost 65 euro for what was a 20 euro shop had I been able to go to Tesco myself (and would have got the right products as well).
All in all, just a bit sh*t.”
