“My experience dealing with byggebo was mediocre.
When we first went to buy our bundle the SA told us the bundle was over €200 less expensive than when we went to the till to buy it. There were also delays with our Cybex base that was never communicated when initially purchasing the bundle. I also was the one to contact them regarding collection as it was less than 4 weeks to my due date even though when I had rang they said my purchase was ready then they emailed to say the base was missing the week I was due to collect.
I had to make every contact regarding my order no one followed up with me.
All in all it worked out fine as we got what we bought but I wouldn’t purchase again from byggebo.”
“Delivery took a lot longer than stated, I was not given any updates or made aware of the delivery delays after making my purchase. This is unusal in this day and age and left me disappointed with the service. The product was as described but I would be more inclined to shop elsewhere in future as the same price with better communication/delivery can be found elsewhere.”
“I was extremely disappointed with my shopping experience with Bygge Bo. I placed an order on the 4th June for the Tripp Trapp complete set and other items. I emailed four days later to check the order had been processed as I had used One4All vouchers and had not heard anything re the order. Bygge Bo replied to tell me that they were waiting on the harness and tray for the chair and then the order would be shipped. I then received an email on the 11th June to say the cushion we had chosen was not available and could I choose another, which I did. My order was then shipped on the 18th June, received on 19th June. However, the harness for the chair was not in the delivery, and when I emailed about this on 2nd July (giving time for a second parcel to be sent to me) I was told that it was out of stock and that it was expected in the next 7-10 working days . I didn't receive the remainder of my order until a month later, on 3rd August. My communication with the company was varied; Sarah was polite in offering explanations for delays and apologies, but any other contact I had didn't seem to be too bothered in my order. From first order to full delivery, we waited almost 9 weeks and I appreciate that delays can happen, but I think that our experience, and the length of time waiting, was very disappointing.”
“I ordered a sebra baby cot on 5th May which arrived on 16th May with some very damaged parts in transit. The product was packaged very poorly. They managed to send me the replacement parts on 25th June! more than 1 month after delivery. Customer service was responsive and they sent me a voucher for 50 euros however it did not really cover my frustration. Next time I would buy the bed directly frm Sebra.”

“I ordered the Stokke Tripp Trapp chair and accessories on the 27th Nov and expected to wait 2-3 weeks for delivery while stocks were replenished, as advertised. If something is promised within a certain time then I expect it to be delivered. It should have arrived by 18th December and it wasn’t dispatched until 3rd January. The box it arrived in was also very flimsy and it was only luck that nothing was damaged.”

“Hi Amanda and team, I am sorry to say that I did not have a good experience online shopping online with byggebo.com. One of the products I had ordered and paid for was out of stock and the committed order could not be filled. The second product in this same order arrived as the incorrect but similar product which cost half the price of what I paid for and was expecting. The was very inconvenient as I needed this product by a certain date as I was due to travel with it. I drove from Galway to Dublin to make the swap for the correct product. The staff in the shop in Sandyford were very nice to deal with and apologised for this error.”
“The pram EVENTUALLY arrived and product was as described, but it took a LOT of chasing. Chose Bygge Bo over cheaper alternatives because they claimed to have the product and colour in stock. Got immediate confirmation etc. Then, silence. After multiple emails, over a month of waiting and constant chasing, bingo - a delivery. However, the arrogance, lack of customer service and general refusal to accept their obligations was the stuff that sitcoms are made of. They eventually offered a pathetic store credit, but well short of the difference between their pricing and that of their more honest competitors.”

“Was sent the wrong item, had to arrange pick up with DPD, heard nothing else and rather than customer service emailing me directly they CC’ed me on a thread where they seemed to be arguing with the delivery company. I then had to follow up to ensure that the correct travel cot arrived. I felt like customer service were really cold throughout. Fast delivery initially but was not what I had ordered! Took two weeks for the cot that I had ordered to get here.”
“I had orders a footmuff in the beginning October, which came back into stock in Dec. I saw this on their website back in stock and delivery within 2 days(it was last Christmas orders) although I ordered a black one; I had to settle for a blue one after multiple calls and chasing (even though the black one had come back in, but it seems my order wasn’t honored and people who ordered in Dec got it instead). I will say though that their customer service ladies were very professional and polite! I think something went wrong with their orders”
“I recently ordered my second Tripp Trapp from ByggeBo.
I ordered the first one in April for my own daughter and received the wrong colour chair.
I decided to give ByggeBo a second go and ordered a second Tripp Trapp as a gift for my nephew. My order was placed on 28th of September and wasn't fully filled until the 9th of November.
Both times I found the customer service to be a bit lacking - with my most recent order I was assured on a number of occasions that the remaining items in my order would ship within a few days only for them not to show up, with no follow up from ByggeBo until the next contact promising delivery would be made.”
