“I first went to view the products in store, the staff were quite uninterested in helping. After having to approach the staff myself for assistance I was given the reply "Well what do you want to know?". For a £649 carbon fibre tripod there are quite a lot of selling points. I then bought the tripod online the following day as the Drummond St store only had the display model in stock. The item arrived and everything was fine, until I damaged it just before Christmas. I decided to wait until the new year to get in touch about getting it fixed, called and left a message with a gentleman who said he would email 'Ross' to get him to call me back. I'm still awaiting the call, three days later. I also placed an order on the 14th December for an item which was out of stock, the money was taken from my account on the 15th and I'm still awaiting any news on this item, something - anything would be useful. I look forward to hearing from you.”

“Whether a business is customer focused or not is best shown when purchases don't just slot into the 'business as usual' box and follow what should be well established process. Calumet were superb at resolving questions and ensuring that a couple of unexpected 'bumps' we encountered over the Christmas period were never my problem and didn't affect me or my schedule. Would strongly recommend them...great corporate attitude, pleasant proactive people and any issues handled with the utmost integrity.”

“The product was as stated on ordering. I think the £4.99 postage for sending a lens cap was excessive. The item could have gone in a jiffy bag and been posted first class for a lot less”

“I put an order in on 31 Dec 2015, the item was advertised for next day delivery. As this was over the New Year holidays I did not expect delivery until after the 6 Jan 2016. It has taken until the 12 Jan 2016 for delivery. The purchase was also delivered to the wrong address. All this was after 2 phone calls and an email to the suppliers, during one call I was informed that the item I had purchased was out of stock for several days, but no one informed me of this. Over all I am very disappointed with the hole service”

“It was a Saturday, so there may have been part time staff on. I had done the research, and found that most of the items that I required should have been in stock, but had forgotten to bring the part numbers with me. After looking up the parts, we eventually found most of the required items. Despite qualifying for maximum discount for an account holder, I still found that I had paid more for the items than the price advertised on the website. I was also disappointed that although being 'Calumet branded', there was not the full range of accessories for the items available. Specific items: RM7232 @ £40 Ticket price inc VAT RM7360 @ £35 " Total £75 minus 20% = £60 inc VAT Invoice No: 3720296 Acc. No: 382500 Item RM7360K (kit of both above) £52.00 (Before discount!)”

“The information supplied and communication from Caulmet was terrible. Once my order was made I waited a few days on an email telling me something about the order. No email was sent so I contacted them. I was told I should receive my order on the 5th of January. It never arrived. Contacted them on the 6th. I was told your order will be sent today and you will get it tomorrow. It never arrived. Phoned again on the 7th and I was told it had just been sent out and I was sent an email with tracking number. It finally arrived on the 8th of January. I will never use Caulmet again. Very poor”
