You have a lovely manager Lesley at Manchester branch but some of your staff are abrubt and not helpful, I was looking for ink for my 3880 I purchased from you. I was not sure which code number ink I should get. I asked your staff and they told me that everything is on the shelf , what a horrible customer service then I found my ink after searching google which I shouldn't as I could have bought online but I wanted to come right your shop , there should be happy people working there

It was my second and last time when i deal with you, first time i was waiting for all items more than 3weeks, now is second time and i waiting more than 5 weeks. Never had any problem with Jessop

Rented of Sony A7 r ii and slider didn't turn up on the right day. When they arrived slider was broke and unusable also microphone wire was very worn. So lost 3 days work.

First of all you didn't send any item at all despite me placing an order on your website. When I rang up after a 10 days to see what had happened and why I hadn't received anything I was told that the Sniper Strap I had ordered was no longer available despite the fact that you had taken the money for it. I was then promised by one of your operators a different Sniper Strap in compensation for the missing strap which I was promised would be delivered by that Thursday in time for 2 weddings that I was shooting that weekend which was why I had ordered the strap. The Sniper Strap never turned up and when I rang again on the following Monday to see what had happened I was told that it had never been dispatched, it turned up on that Thursday 6 days after I needed it. This was over 2 1/2 weeks from ordering to receiving the Sniper Strap that I had ordered. I find this highly unsatisfactory, and it will be a long time before I purchase from your website again. Placed and order only to be later told that the camera was out of stock. At which point I cancelled the order and purchased from elsewhere. A week later a camera arrives from Calumet and money was taken from my account. It took over 2 1/2 weeks for my money to be returned. My 1st and last time using Calumet

My order has still not arrived despite it being ordered on 25th May, 26 days ago. I was aware that you were awaiting stock when I placed the order, but I didn't think it would take so long. You failed to contact me to let me know what the issue was, I had to get in touch with you twice. You are still not bothering to contact me to keep me informed of the progress of the order, so clearly your aftersales customer service is diabolical. I simply want to know when there is a problem with my order and I wish I had decided to shop elsewhere. Your customer service needs to improve with immediate effect or I shall be telling all of my photography colleagues not to bother shopping with you again, there are plenty of competitors who would value our custom instead.

I am now a fully ‘retired’ professional photographer, if such a thing is ever possible. I dealt with this firm when they were called ‘Pelling and Cross’, long before being taken over by Calumet but nothing much has changed. They are one of the top professional photographic dealers in the UK and still my first port of call for all new equipment. To be honest my pre-order of the Nikon D500 has taken a ‘very long time’ to come but that was not their fault. The earthquake in Japan disrupted supply and as always, Nikon gave the lion’s share of what was available to America. Thanks to Calumet however I now have one of the very first Nikon D500’s in the country and could not be happier. Cropped frame or not it is just one fantastically 'fast' camera (Focus / FPS / ISO ) all just go! go! go! I speak as a happy D810 owner…. I now have both... the Nikon limo... and their smaller sports car. Many thanks Clumet Bob Bridges

Ordered some super compact light stands on April 17, 2016, and I am still waiting for them. It is now June 20, 2016!! Very poor service

I'm a big fan of Calumet. Every time I walk into the store I enter with excitement and optimism. I recently bought a mic that can only be refunded if it was faulty. Nowhere was it clearly mentioned that this was the return policy, perhaps I've overlooked it but what really upset me was the customer service I received by one of the gentlemen behind the counter. Very distasteful and bitter. He needs to know that photographers/videographers of all levels enter the store and there was no need to be so direct and condescending. Although he only gave me one (vital) piece of misinformation the rest was accurate. He should really know his cable knowledge if he feels so superior. I never write reviews but this guy clearly upset me/pissed me off. Other than that keep up the good work.

Refused to deliver my order to DODDLE - the only retailer I have come across with this policy. Have aked for my 700 pounds back. Ridiculous policy.

I am a professional photographer who has just started my business up on my own. I secured 3 contracts and a bunch of weddings. I required 2 new lenses for these contracts. I ordered x2 lenses at the end of April totalling over £1000 which is alot of money to shell out when just staring out. The most urgent was the Tamron 24-70 which o was told would take around 2weels to arrive. 1 week before the first of my weddings I had still not received this lens and the customer service was less than poor. I had to have money refunded and buy one elsewhere (the company I got it from was the same size as calumet and they had 10+in stock). I am still awaiting my second lens which has a supplier issue. Inhvebrecives very little in customer support/apologises or alternative solutions. Today I have been infomes the solution is to have my money refunded! Great news! But how am I going to tell my clients for the 5-6th time I need to hold of even longer to complete the signed and part-paid for contracts!!! I am now 1month overdue to complete these and may loose them in turn leaving me in a very very very bad position to continue as a photographer! I am very very diapointed with the service, supply and quality of everything involved with the Glasgow calumet store.

Treated like a scammer. I set an order with that store for a camera. My bank validated the transaction. Then I received notification that they require, identification, and utility bill with the address, which is dangerous and unnacceptable to send passport ID via email. No matter what I provided those and they still rejected my order. Not worth the hassle, shop elsewhere.

Ordered and paid for Saturday AM delivery and got let down so had to cancel a job with one of my biggest clients... Very disappointing!

I ordered a lens from you at the Birmingham show and was told that it would arrive in two weeks. After two weeks, and no contact from you, I called and was told it would be another week. One week later, still no contact but I was then away. The following week, while I was away, a note from FedEx was pushed through the door saying they had tried to deliver a parcel. I had no idea who it was from. The parcel was finally delivered today, containing the lens, four weeks after I had ordered it. Amazon is my benchmark. They keep me informed and tell me when things are going to be delivered. You are the total opposite! Who do you think I will use in future?

Dismal service, I bought a new camera and some studio equipment, all confirmed, even rang to confirm I could pickup that day from Drummond street. When i got there they could not find my order, then spent the next half an hour looking, in the end they did not have the whole order so had to leave half of it. The system doesn't work and the staff have little to no common sense. Won't be returning any time soon.

Ordered 2 items on Thursday before 3 pm with next day delivery. On Friday 1 item got deliver another went missing. I phoned customer service and was told that FedEx lost my parcel (backdrop - 3 meters size box) and promised to get it delivered before 12 o'clock on monday. now its 2pm on monday and I still haven't received the item. very annoyed

Ordered a backdrop paid extra postage Call handler typed wrong post code Backdrop delivered to wrong address I had to buy another backdrop urgently at extra costs FedEx rang me redelivered I contacted calumet They apologised arranged to redirect backdrop to hq then refund me Backdrop turns up at my address! Now stuck with two very expensive backdrops not even a refund on delivery

I ordered a Calumet Camera Adapter for Canon with N-3 Plug on February 21st 2016 and it's now April 12th 2016. The item is still showing as out of stock on the website, and there has been no information regarding restocking or if the item is discontinued. Glad it's only a small adapter and nothing more expensive.

I was after a double strap for the weekend,. but the one I asked for was out of stock....no alternative suggested. I asked if there was an alternative...no reply, so I searched the web site and found one... Yes it was in stock so I ordered it on the Tuesday. Yes it will be with you by Wednesday, Thursday at the very latest. So on Friday I chased it up, 'Sorry' we will send it out for Tuesday delivery (after the weekend) No offer of Saturday AM... no offer of money off. It actually turned up on Monday after the event I needed it for. Not very impressed for a professional company. JB-K
