Shocking service from a shocking company. Over estimated and over charged for carpet I didn’t need as it was estimated more than we actually needed with loads of waste. I queried this with the manager at the Blackpool store and all she wanted to do was argue and stick up for the estimator even though I’d had another two companies in to measure. When the carpet was fit it was cut too short and wouldn’t stop under the door thresher so I had to get someone else in and pay for a wider door thresher put down Will never use carpet right for my home or hotel and would never recommend Customer service nice when you first go on up to the point of them taking full payment then after that they don’t want to know. The manager told me there was no waste on the estimators measurements yet I had a full stair run spare and other pieces of carpet spare which has now gone down in my shed. They measured my bathroom at 7.8 sq metres when in fact it was only 5 square metres so I gave the job to another company same vinyl half the price and fitted correctly. Bye bye to carpet right forever

I have just had a carpet fitted from Carpetright in Nottingham.when the fitters arrived i quizzed them about the standards that have as i have seen other horror reviews on here about the fitting.they informed me that all fitters are qualified to the 'Fita' standard and have to pass all exams before being allowed to fit and they are spot checked and retested every year.the fitting i had was perfect and they hoovered up afterwards.i can only assume that alot of these 'reviews' are simply false and being put on by rival firms.i would reccommend Carpetright to anyone.👍👍👍👍👍

Orpington store. Lost my finance agreement paperwork twice... Data protection? Then failed to complete their own paperwork for 3 weeks, in which time the agreement had timed out. Now they've made a new finance agreement without both my concent and without me being present or aware. Stay away from this store!!

Over the last week-end had the pleasure to visit the carpetright store in Yeovil. After trying a couple other suppliers I found the person at this store very, very helpful, and would like to mention his name as Ian. He gave me excellent advice on all my requirements for carpets without any rush, and as a customer we always want his kind of service, with a good price as well as quality. Which he did. I was very pleased to place an order for two bedrooms, and looking forward now to continue carpetright first class service up to now, with the fitting arranged to lay the carpets to both our arrangement. Thank you Ian for your help.

The staff at the Carpetright store were excellent. The problem is that they sub contract the fitting to self employed floor fitters. This means that you have no idea at all about how good your floor fitter will be. Our fitter was Sandeep and he worked really hard for two days laying our floor. We had carpet fitted to the stairs, landing and three bedrooms. This went really well, with no real issues. Downstairs we had dry back LVT fitted. This is where it didn't go so well. The entire floor had to be covered in a self leveling compound before the LVT could be fitted. Sandeep did this work after fitting the carpets and was still working at 7.30pm! He came back two days later to lay the LVT. I was gutted that he used white silicone all around the room where the floor meets the skirting boards. I wanted the LVT cut neatly, tight against the skirting to get the best effect. I was also gutted that the floor is seriously unlevel. I can actually see where the floor dips and rises against the skirting boards. Also some of the LVT planks are starting to lift in places. It seems to me that Sandeep rushed the floor prep stage as the floor was not level but he laid the LVT anyway. I wish now that I had gone to a local, well known, credible floor fitter with a reputation to protect. Sandeep told me that Carpetright send him 90% of his work. This clearly means that he doesn't need to think about his reputation as the work just keeps coming from Carpetright customers who like me expected such a huge company to do a superb job. When you pay a professional floor fitter, the very least you expect is to have a level floor. My floor looks ok overall, but it doesn't look like a professional job because of the finishing - it almost looks like I laid it as a weekend project. I would not use Carpetright again as I have no confidence in the quality of the fitters they use.

WARNING DO NOT USE CARPETRIGHT !!!!!!! Sick of the amount of time and money lost for time off work, for the days booked in for them to come and fit a carpet, that they NEVER turn up for. No phone calls from the store NOTHING !!! Have now got to wait 7 to 10 days for my refund, appalling service. I run a Bedroom fitting service, and will make sure ALL my customers know how Rubbish they are from this day on !!!! Will never use again.

I can well believe these reviews are correct. I raised a complaint over two months ago. Sent follow up emails, telephone calls - nothing. Customer service is appalling. Not even the common decency to acknowledge an email.

Terrible quality carpets, underlay and fitting. All awful. wish I had gone elsewhere. 100% wool carpet should not be falling apart after five years very light tread. The cost £2320.74 for five years carpet is just shocking. Carpetwrong blame manufacturing problems, so for some bizarre reason they will not replace or give a good will gesture towards a "proper quality" carpet. Not that I want another of one of their skanky badly fitted floor dishcloths.

Pathetic customer service! Ordered carpet instore - wrong colour delivered, tthey tried a second time again wrong colour delivered. Their Quality control setup is abysmal - they eventually blamed the manufacturer for incorrectly labelling the product! Full refund eventually obtained after mentioning my Consumer Rights protection. The odd "sorry" over the phone.

People are leaving awful reviews but I have had a really good experience with Carpetright. Their customer service is amazing compared to other stores and they seem like they really care about you as a customer. My oak flooring is amazing and I’m really happy. I will definitely shop with them again soon

only half the carpet fitted due to 1 member of the fitting team off sick. the rude store manager linda from the truro branch said it would be approximately 3 weeks when they come back to finish the job. the carpet fitted by neil was terrible, with a big scar on the carpet in one of the rooms, I'm told this should disappear after 4-6 weeks of hovering and heating

supposedly got a “great luxury carpet” and paid a lot more than I wanted to originally so the quality was better and the carpet looked better for longer but within 2 months you could tell the quality of the carpet was not what it was made out to be, and the fitting was appalling. They came out and re fitted it again but still it continues to come loose on the stairs and around the edges of every room I had done. Will definitely never shop with carpet right again and will always tell people to steer clear of them!

You mean carpetwrong!!! wish there was a minus star Ordered carpet from Redditch shop 8 weeks ago September 2019 & specified date for delivery & fit for 8 weeks time due to the settee coming the next day. Called them on Tuesday due to delivery & fit was due on the Friday they said yes would be fitting. On the Thursday 2 days later we received a phone call from the manager stating that there had been an error on the manifest & the delivery/fit would not be happening until up to 3 weeks away. My husband asked them what they was going to do about it & perhaps get van ect to pick carpet up manager said he would get back to him. We waited a few hours & no phone call bearing in mind I had booked a days holiday for the carpet to be fitted. I called back & finally spoke to Mr Tumble the manager he said the delivery would not be coming & it was possibly be a quality fault or been rejected, I thought to myself his not very good liar telling my husband it was manifest & me its possibly quality issue???????????? I said I wasn't happy as I had booked holiday off work unnecessary & settee coming plus telling us less than 24 hours of delivery. Mr Tumble :/ only offered an apology no possible goodwill offer nothing I said that we was cancelling the order. I am now in the process of putting an official complaint to head office due to carpet wrong manager being in competent of doing his job & also needs training on customer service. I look forward to there response PLEASE DO NOT EVER USE THIS REDDITCH SHOP AS THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THERE DOING!!!!!!!!

Dreadful experience at Clapham High Street location. Ordered a bespoke runner for 10 steps. Survey process did not happen as planned, they did not show up on the installation date. I had to call the following day to learn that the carpet was damaged and needed to be reordered. Store did not call to book installation, I had to call them. The store was giving me a small refund on fitting due to service issue. I had to call 4 times to get the small refund processed. Their follow up, urgency, ownership and accountability was dreadful. Not until I was at my height of frustration did the store manager thank me for my business. I won't be back.
