I live in a small town, and there aren’t a lot of options for women’s clothes. I also understand that everyone has a bad day, but I’ve had too many experiences with rude employees to think it’s a one time thing. The Murphy, NC store has such a bad reputation though that I don’t think it’s just me.

I love Catos clothes but the customer service that I recently recieved regarding my package has me upset. I placed two orders on the same date online receieved one package but could not track the second package due to postal sevice upgrade and told to wait a week too see if second packages arrived ok fine so I patiently waited over a week too see if my packages arrived and this time placed a 3rd order needless to say i recieved my 3rd package and the second one never come. although i am happy inwas refunded but upset that i never got my items and now can't even reorder the items because they are no longer in stock just wish I was told up front that after waiting 3 weeks that my package was never filled or shipped.

I ordered something from catofashions.com. I’ve been waiting a week plus now for delivery. The way Cato shipped the item ups shows that ups is not in possession of the order I tried reaching out to Cato and all they will tell me is the item has been shipped. If the item has been shipped why is the shipping company claiming they are not in possession of said item?

If I could give zero stars I would! I received 3 blouses as gifts from the North Augusta, SC Cato store. Naturally being a gift, my friend clipped the tags off, but did give me a gift receipt. However, the blouses were too big so I went to exchange them and was informed by staff that this would not be possible because the tags were no longer attached, even with the receipt. What type of customer service is this?? I have shopped at Cato for years, but you just lost a customer, as well as mom who was with me, and my friend who gave these to me. Goodwill received a nice donation, but I will NEVER shop there again!!!

I have been shopping online with Cato for a very long time and until now I have been happy . It has been 17 days since I placed my order and it is still not here . I messaged cato about my disappointment and they simply replied by sending me a customer service # . No apologies no explanation. Sorry Cato but I will no longer be doing buisness with you .

The Corporate employee that I speak to was terrible. She wanted me to prove they made an error. Items received did not even match my invoice. The clothing I received was ugly and way too big for me. The lady at Corporate who made a point to say she was Corporate acted like I had somehow stolen the clothing. NO ONE would steal the ugly clothes they sent to me. The items I ordered were in stock when I paid online and are now no longer available. So they have the items and my money. I would not recommend shopping with Catos. The store employees are great but the Corporate employees are terrible and do not care how they speak to you.

I just went into the Ottumwa Iowa Cato to get a few things and had to deal with I'm assuming the 0Managers children running through the store playing hide and seek and going in and out the door constantly vary annoying will not go back again.

I did all of my blouse buying at Cato, but they have changed suppliers and their blouses are much too short for me as I am 6 feet tall. It’s fine to add new items but why just totally stop making the longer blouses? Very disappointed.

The ladies are always helpful and friendly. They know what I like and when I go In they let me know they may have something I like. I have bought several long skirts and blouses there. This store in Wetumpka, Alabama I give a 5 star 🌟.

I ordered an outfit in store to be shipped for free to the store for an upcoming trip. After a few weeks I had heard nothing regarding my order(Which they charged me for at the store at the time of purchase). I called the store and even went into the store to inquire as to where the order was. The only thing they could tell me was that it had been shipped. I asked for a tracking number so that I could see when the expected delivery date was as my trip was approaching. I was told there was no way to track it but that it would be in probably on Tuesday of that week as that is when they get the orders. Another 10 pass still no word. I call the store and I am told the same thing I was told prior. I call the online customer service and they now call the store and the store tells them that the order was suppose to have been received the previous week but was not in the order. Now when I look online my size is no longer available. I ask can you please send me another size that is available with expedited shipping (at no cost to me for my inconvenience)so that I would have it by the time I leave for my trip. I am told no that they will not do that. My only option is for them to set up a new order for the same product and size, at the regular shipping time line. (most likely my size is not available since it shows no availability online). I am then told that if the not available, the only thing they will do is offer me a refund. Which that is great I get my money back that you took out of my account but this company will do nothing to rectify a situation to help out the customer. This was a new store that I have just recently discovered and now I will no longer go back as they clearly don't take care of the customer. Just so disappointed in the way the company handled the situation. I myself am a business owner so I know things don't always go as planned but I certainly try to do right by my customers in this type of situation.

I needed a couple of nice outfits for a trip that came up all of a sudden. Cato’s have a variety of nice clothes that don’t break the bank. Clothes, jewelry, shoes anything you need for a nice quick wardrobe. Jeans and Capris are my favorite items to buy. Take a look! Great employees too! No! I’m not an employee.....

Store is not open when it's suppose to be in Cleburne tx. Big sign on front door. Open at 10:00 on memorial day.

I give them four stars because I’m here at the store. They are supposed to open at 10 AM according to the sign and the store still close at 10:10 AM. This is very unprofessional. I’m here for last-minute purchase since I have an event in two hours and this is not good . But overall, this is a great store. It has a lot of variety and affordable prices on clothing. Mckinney,TX

I was a very frequent shopper at Cato’s. Guaranteed I spend 6-8000 a year. I bought my normal size pants like so many I have bought before. I took the tags off before trying them on because I was sure since I bought 2 more pair just like it that they would fit and had recently worn those which fit perfectly. They were too big… I believe mid sized. I went to take them back with pants, yaks and receipt in hand and they refused to allow me to return them bc their policy is if the tags are off they don’t return. I called corporate and they also refused to make it right. The pants had been worn only for me to try them on and take them off. They lost my business forever. This policy is so non customer friendly that they should be ashamed of themselves… especially since everyone is having a hard time buying anything. This policy will cost them business. I can understand if I had worn them for a day or had gotten stains on them but non of that was the case. What a shame for Cato’s and their customers that a policy like this exists and isn’t left up to the discretion of the store to decide if the clothing is damaged or worn beyond trying them on. I hope everyone that shops at Catos will remember to wear your clothes with the tags on them for a while to see if they fit. It is also a shame that Catos has now lost me as a customer and also my 2 best friends that spend a lot of money in their stores. I am sure they have lost hundreds of other customers because of this lame policy.

I was shopping at the Newnan store, she marked my money and just Circled it at the end over and over, then she did the same thing to my ten dollar bill. Then she held the Bill's up in the air. I was then disgusted. I hate to be treated like I am distributing counterfeit money. You have a pen to mark the Bill's, why go through all of that. You are not trashing the Bill's, they leave your store and go to the bank. I called the home office, she just said she would pass it on to the district manager. This is not a high end store so why are you treating your customers like this? She said if they didn't do it, they would get fired. Keep your merchandise and I will keep my money. I will never shop at a place where they think you are a criminal.

I love everything in the store but as a suggestion there should be men’s clothing as well as women’s clothing you would get way more costumes.

I went shopping in the cottonwood store. The woman who was working told me I needed to be on the side for plus size women. I went and wandered around there and then went back to the regular sizes and selected a few things. She asked me what I was doing on that side. I said I had always shopped on the side. She huffed away. I did purchase my items but don’t think I will go back soon.
