“Bought curved monitor, Faulty, refused replacement.
Bought a £250 curved monitor in November
2022, January 2023 it started losing picture at random and then the picture would come back. Just been told they can't replicate the fault in an email and they are sending it back to me. Absolute lies. There is no way they tested this for more than 10 minutes.
If I get it back and suddenly its no longer broken I will Correct this review.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I'll be sticking to Ebuyer from now on.
Order number / W4180584 / Acer XZ272UV 27"
CCL RMA 332739
EDIT: 21/01/2023 I have just received the faulty item back, you guys didn't even take the thing out and test it... the box is exactly the way I sent you it, there is absolutely no way you repackaged the box as EXACTLY as I did. You received this and literally just sent it back without taking it out the box and testing it. EVEN THE TAPE I USED TO SEAL THE BOX HAS BEEN UNTOUCHED! Absolute jokers.
EDIT: 25/01/2023 : returned the monitor to me missing the screws needed to connect the monitor to the stand. Will continue to update. Currently in talks with customer service. For the record they did take it out to test and I was mistaken. I tried the monitor for an hour just rested up on the wall and the issue has seemed to resolved itself. However Without using it as I normally would I can not say for certain, this is currently not an option without using the stand, which I cant use due to getting the item back without the screws.
EDIT: 26/01/2023 still no reply after making a second ticket. I can get my bank to dispute the transaction if need be. If all else fails this is the route I'm going.
EDIT: 03/02/2023 I put in a a second ticket on 25/01/2023 and just checked my emails today they are just ignoring me at this point, no reply at all. I'm going to the bank to chargeback. This company is horrendous. I'm still sat here with the monitor they sent back to me missing parts needed to assemble.”
“Beyond annoyed at the moment, it is looking like this could end up becoming a chargeback situation.
Bought a 3D printer from CCL before christmas as it was on offer. Opened it up when Garden office had been built approx 8 weeks later and all looked ok. Built the printer andthen tried to use it and no matter what got a fault about nozzle temp.
I contacted CCL who told me to email "BOX" their sister company for support. I emailed them and got 1 reply asking if cables were damaged. When I said they were not and the printer was new and had never worked they did not reply again.
I went back to CCL who tried to fob me off with BOX again. I informed the guy on the phone that my purchase was from CCL and not box and they needed to deal with it. After informing them I am aware of my rights and the CRA they arranged a collection via DPD. It was collected the next day and delivered to them on the Friday with proof (tracking).
Not until the following Monday did I get an email stating they had received it. This is the only email I have gotten.
After trying to call several times I ended up emailing complaints to get somebody called "Theo" back in touch basically ignoring my complaint saying its being looked at. Once I pointed out the delay he refused to accept that they got it the previous week saying it was not true. Stated the printer will be sent from them to "BOX" and they would try to fix it. Would not give me any information about timescales or process. He claimed the moment the return was raised I was sent an email outlining all of this. I explained no email had been received and that once again I know it arrived with them the week previous.
I was then "offered" for the email to be resent and again told I was wrong about the delivery date.
I replied asking for the email to be resent and offered screenshot proof from DPD that the printer was indeed received the week previously.
This is when radio silence began. No replies to emails now, no calls answered and live chat just say to email and they cant help.
I am down a printer, my money and just being ignored.
Luckily I paid with mastercard so this offers me some protection should they carry on ignoring me.
I am also lucky enough to have recorded my calls etc with CCL so I am now considering how to proceed with this.
Be aware people, they are certianly not what they were before they were sold in 2021.”
“Terrible customer service. No one answers service tickets. Returned an item via rejecting the delivery, so it went straight back to them the very next day. Been a week now and still no refund issued. Not even showing up as returned yet!? Avoid at all cost”
“Quick dispatch after building and testing of pc. Well packed, excellent cable management when installing second ssd. Awesome beast of a machine and well priced. I will definitely be using ccl again.”
“Ordered an order and paid more for fast shipping to arrive at 12 January , today 13 January they still didn't even ship the order.
bad customer service that keep telling you "the HQ will contact you soon", since three days they keep saying the same things...”
“Review of last year purchase. I was sent a faculty motherboard and was told by them to return it. After 4 months I got a refund but they made it very difficult. Check others recent reviews about when things go wrong. This was a great company which has gone down the pan. Delayed review as I'm busy.
September. Yep 2 months later. Sent back the motherboard their tech call centre was faulty. Then 2 days later they have replicated the build I was doing with the components they said would work together (I am being sarcastic) and it has shown up as no fault with the motherboard and they are returning it to me.
To be continued....
So after telling me this part should work but isn`t and advising me to return it they are now saying the part is fine and refusing to refund. This is brilliant they said I should return it for a refund so I got a replacement from another company. It worked straight away. I have now had to escalate this with the credit card company. Please heed this review as this company has gone down the pan.
So final entry. I got a refund after 4 months. The returns team seem to enjoy messing customers around especially the one with the massive nose and stupid skinny pipe cleaner legs. I used overclockers recently and the unused item arrived the day after for free so I,d advise anyone to use them or at a push even amazon are better”
“Their customer service department rarely answers calls. They might put you on an answering machine after waiting for 30 minutes or drop the line totally after 3. They never answer emails. Their live chat answers but have no authorisation to do anything and they refer you to emails or telephone cs.”
“CCL RMA 314858
Selling poor quality grade B items labelled as new but when arrive box clearly been opened and item damaged. Dead pixels on a so called "brand new" screen! Will not refund and take 28 days to supposedly replace with another from the same manufacturer. Will not buy from here again.”
“Shame I can't leave a no star review. We had a computer power supply from them which came with a 10-year warranty. It failed explosively with sparks coming out. We returned the unit to be told they would only accept it with all the cables. Why - the thing doesn't work? No response. Fine to order from but their customer service is truly APPALLING. Don't use them - it's not worth it.”
“Purchased a new GPU card on the 4th april 2021
Item arrived next day, the packaging was mint condition (black plastic mail envelope) all seals outside were intact, the DPD Driver is always the same guy, i know him well enough, he even brings my dog a treat!
When i opened the parcel i was suprised to find damage to the box, it was battered and tatty then i noticed a hand wrote label on the side (see photos).
When i emailed CCL a young lady (named all over the place on various CCL posts as Abby said she could see that the item was infact a returned item, i purchased a new unit not a second hand item!
This then led to a RMA battle that took another 10+ days just to get the card exchanged with many phone calls for progress and even 2 failed collections to take the item back, in the end i had to go to the post office and mail the bloody thing back myself.
First and LAST time i touch CCL with a barge pole, quick deep dive on the company even revealed that Santader bank have filed charges against the company, just go elsewhere!”
“My review from trust pilot this is the first part of the review https://www.trustpilot.com/users/62333f7cdac5c800120c9926 and second part of review
This is an update to my previous review
My Daughter ordered a Msi b450m mortar max from CCLonline but she started to have a issue, so I managed to get her a Rma and sent it Back.
They tested it but couldn't find the issue so they said they where sending it back which was fine. But this is where the issue started, they Decided to return the motherboard in a grey plastic postage bag so it had no protection and of course the Motherboard Box returned in not the same state as it was sent.
Motherboard box showed signs of being crushed and a bit ripped on the corners and you can see inside where the lid had pressed against the motherboard it self.
Now when we sent it for Rma we packed it in a cardboard box with packing around the motherboard box to keep it safe and stop it getting damaged But CCL decided just to put it in a postage bag and hope for the best.
Why couldn't they respect someone's property by Boxing it properly so it cant get damaged when being returned. I have sent photos showing the damage but but had no response from CCLonline so far.
We sent it in as new condition but never received it in as new condition so I have told her not to order from CCLonline in the future as they don't look after your pc parts.

My Daughter has tried to get the motherboard sent back and refunded But with no success at all.
Firstly she went to online chat and explained to them about the review and what CCLonline had said about a refund or replacement but they wouldn't sort it out they just told her to email instead.
So she emailed and 3 or 4 days later no reply from cclonline so she went on chat today but they didn't understand or didn't want to and just gave her another RMA number which she Didn't want she just wanted to get the motherboard sent back and refunded just like cclonline said they would.
cclonline failed to honour what they said about return and refund.
I added photos so you see what the motherboard looked like before it went to cclonline and what it looked like when it came back”
“Bought a motherboard recently which was faulty it would not post , got an rma number repacked everything checked serial number they sent against serial number on packaging , note I did not even think to check serial number on the board, sent it back then got an email saying sorry its not their product as serial numbers do not match? I was like wtf? The package they sent me was the package I returned , I will get my money back , I dont want a replacement any more off them as the trust factor took a dive , very un professional indeed”
“I canceled my order. It was never delivered to me. Yet after 2 weeks still no refund. They say they are waiting for dpd. Yet i said thats not my problem it was never delivered. Many emails many phone calls. The last one the lady was very rude and she hung up on me. Avoid this company.”
“Sent me a faulty Motherboard then made up some BS rule about reporting faults within 5 days and refused to replace or refund.
Am now pursuing legal measures to get my money back.
Wish I had checked out the reviews first because it quickly becomes obvious these guys are just a bunch of scammers.”
“I ordered an item and paid for the fastest delivery option. I had an order confirmation email after I made the order and in that email they said they'd send another when the order had shipped, so everything looked good. The day the order was supposed to come, I still hadn't received a shipping email. I had to get in contact on their website, and the person there on the chat said I needed to email them about it - so I did that, still no reply. I eventually phoned the company and explained that my order was meant to be delivered on that day but I didn't have a tracking number or any confirmation that my order had actually shipped. They took my email and said someone would get in touch. Fast forward a few days and I receive an email saying that the item I ordered wasn't in stock and that they could change or cancel the order. Really annoying that they couldn't have told me that before the day that it was meant to be delivered. Anyway, I found the exact same item on overclockers, ordered it and it was delivered the next day. It's a shame because I've ordered from ccl before and had fast delivery and good communication. Oh well... just wish they could have communicated better so that I could have bought it from elsewhere without the time spent waiting around.”
“I purchased a Samsung 49 inch monitor after reading very good reviews online about CCL. Delivery and communication was excellent. The good news ended here unfortunately the product was either a return and it was evident it had been opened before from the packaging also the screen has dead pixels in the right corner. I reported this to CCL who were happy to take it as return but I have ro pay for the postage and they may retract some amount from the full cost under some circumstances. Ridiculous that they are sending out faulty/returned items and having us pay for the privilege of returning them.

“My experiences with CCL have been far from great.
I purchased a 'bundle' from them consisting of a motherboard and preinstalled CPU/cooler and RAM. I also purchased a PSU.
The original bundle would not power up and after wasting several hours I diagnosed that the CPU had bent pins (as stated this was preinstalled).
Had to send back the whole bundle and was sent a new one, once again all components pre installed. This was more promising and allowed a boot to bios and then an install of the o/s. Then, after a reboot, the system would not POST correctly and the EZ-Diag light for the CPU was lit up.
I tried several successful bios flashes (can be done without components installed) without success. I created a ticket on CCL web site and didnt get a response. Waited a couple of days then raised another. Still no response. So I decided to fork out on a new motherboard from another supplier.
Installed the CPU and RAM and over 2 weeks later the device has been stable 24/7. From this I dont think it's hard to diagnose that there is an issue with the CCL supplied motherboard.
So I rang them and after being passed around the houses had the fault logged. I then got an email stating to send ALL the components back. When I explained what I had done to diagnose and that the device is required because it is a 24/7 CCTV system they refused to budge stating that the warranty was ONLY for the whole bundle.
I have tried to explain that you can purchase the items separately, including the motherboard, and I am only wanting them to confirm my diagnosis. They are flatly refusing to budge.
I do think in some situations a little common sense and flexibility is required.”
