It was quick to install in my garage - and really easy to use, you simply plug it into the car!!!

When purchasing there is a lot of promise about there customer interaction on the engineers visit. Not very friendly engineer and not half the promises made kept.

So easy to use - the cable is already attached to the box - so I just plug it into the car and off it goes - much quicker than using a normal power point - can charge my car from 0-100% in a couple of hours - the engineer who fitted it was so efficient and explained everything I needed to know !

The process from the time of purchase to installation has been cordial even though the pandemic situation delayed the the date of sending engineer to site. Engineers did a thorough and neat job with good level of professionalism.

Good communication initially with the team. Left an email after installation but no reply. I thought the homecharger was like a plug witch last a lifetime. Now found out they go wrong and BP chargmaster get poor ratings a on the comparison website I saw so feel apprehensive. Can't easily find out how to register and am looking on FAQ right now. We dug as 60cm trench to a post and armoured cable not used which was a surprise but I guess that's ok as we have the certificate. Slightly concerned so we put rigid warning board on top before filling trench. Engineer did neat work and easy to work with. Aga helpful and knowledgeable.

The only comment I have to make is I think before installing the charger you have to send someone to do a survey.For me it was very difficult as it kept going back and fort.The engineer who installed the charger was extremely professional and knew his job very well.

The application process was long winded and BP where in a translation period of changing email addresses which caused some delays in the processing. However the installer James was awesome, only 2 and half hours for the installation- neat and tidy job!

Only done one charge from 69% to 94% and my consumer unit tripped ou SIX times! The only other device in use was a standard size fridge-freezer. Totally unacceptable.

The people on the phone extremely helpful, but even though I emailed them lots of photos of electric cable and fuse boxes, they could not tell I needed to do a big upgrade of my cable/connection fuses boxes until engineer arrived. It cost me an additional £1000 to upgrade cable and boxes. Also, they told me I needed a charger cable, so I bought one of their cables. When I picked up my new Tesla, it came with a charger cable. They must know Tesla supply a cable!!

The installer was polite and knowledgable on the subject, he was efficient and cleaned up during and after the job. I would definitely recommend a Chargemaster installation to any new EV users.
