Slightly tricky negotiation regarding meter installation - but once problems ironed out - fitting as a dream! Extremely helpful admin and fitting team. Fitted without problems and works a treat. App is a bit difficult to get to work - but I can now schedule charging overnight (which is saving ++ on costs)

Don't under estimate the amount of potential work required in advance of a home charge unit install. Yes, you will be guided through what is required, but you need to ensure that your home is ready. Your fuse boxes need to be correct, which may mean they need to be updated and you need to think ahead about how the cabling is going to work in terms of getting it from the fuse box to the actual charger. Plan ahead. Install was requested in Dec 19, installation happened in Jun 20. Customer Service was very slow and responses to communication took time - caveat with the fact that Covid hit this process, so benefit of the doubt to those involved, but I would have hoped that this would be a minimum 6 week process in reality. Once we managed to get to the installation it went extremely smoothly. The unit works very well and I have no problems, exactly what I would expect with the installation taking around 2.5hrs to complete. The downside is the app - totally useless, can't even get registered. Reading other reviews for it, it is a wonder that BP Chargemaster want their name associated with it. I would pull it until you can demonstrate that you're actually interested in your own app. Because at the moment it is clear that you are not. Get that working properly and scores and reviews may improve.

Installation was carried out professionally, and neatly. An explanation of the procedure and positioning of the cabling to the unit was provided prior to starting. Very happy with the unit chosen, charging and working perfectly.

Probably due to lockdown, but I found there was a problem with coordination of your various departments. As an elderly user of the internet I had difficulty understanding the procedure I had to follow, but with the help of your Bellinda Bellingham I got there

We recognise the special situation in the pandemic - but we feel you did not keep us sufficiently informed of the reasons for delay in installing our home charger. Emails went unanswered, and there was never a word of apology. We are over-seventies, living in a secluded spot - and our only vehicle was our ZOE. There was no sense of priority given to our circumstances. We are, however, pleased with the installation. You engineer was quick, and very professional.

The installation plan went entirely as scheduled. The engineer (Leon Haggard) couldn't have been better. He arrived at the beginning of the window, quietly went about the work and cleaned up meticulously before he left. The Chargemaster is simple to operate and seems to work well. So this has been a very good experience.

Poor installation and having reported it Chargemaster want to charge £75.00 to rectify .
