You take to long and I had to get half the job done by another electrician. You only want to do the easy part of the job.

Installation was good but cable is too short. It would be better if it was a stretch coil cable. We keep having to move other vehicles around to get the Hybrid car close enough to the charger because of the shortness of the cable. The casing on the wall used to wrap the cable round is plastic so only time will tell as to whether it's up to the job or not. When you wrap the cable back round the casing on the wall your hands get wet and dirty where the cable has been on the floor. It would be better if it was retractable. I think it was expensive for what it is.

The charger works okay. The initial communication between Chargemaster rep regarding the purchase of the charger was okay too. However that between Chargemaster and my supplier regarding other work required less so. The unit was fitted by a very clean and tidy professional. However, the app that should allow me to monitor my useage has never worked due to not being able to log in. I have on a number of occasions had email contact with Chargemaster and have still not been able to log in. In summary equipment once fitted fine, communication sadly lacking.

1. Two visits of the electrician were needed because the house fuse needed to be upgraded. Should have been identified before first electrician turned up. 2. The overnight charging schedule doesn't work reliably and sometimes the car is not charged in the morning (not good). Have had to reboot the unit several times. Your technical help people say it is because the unit loses its connection ? Whatever the reason it needs fixing as the charging schedule is critical. 3. The app is not great. Didn't accept my password for a long time, had to make several calls to resolve. App stopped working on my wife's Apple phone.

The unit only works intermittently and has to be rebooted by switching off and on at the main switch

Installation work was satisfactory. Lack of written instruction leaflet or booklet leaves me feeling dis- satisfied. Awaiting delivery of ev so cannot comment on using charge point.

The charging unit works great. HOWEVER the app for it is possibly the worst app I’ve used in years. Sometimes can’t even sign in. It duplicates charging sessions in the account and also stores the wrong charge session length - apparently I charged my car for 99 hours during my first week.

The BP Chargemaster is small, neat and modern. It’s simple to use, my only criticism is the app, it’s poor and needs improvement, you don’t need the app to charge your car but it enables you to set up schedules and see your charging history.

Not very reliable. About once a week our Chargemaster has to be turned off then on again to reset it, or it won't charge. This is particularly annoying when you plug your car in last thing at night and expect it to be charged by morning, only to come out around 8 AM and find that the car is not ready to go.

Equipment and installation process excellent. However, complete lack of any mobile phone signal renders my device "dumb" rather than smart. App of no use whatsoever in these circumstances as no data is collected. A great pity. Please lobby the government to do more to give rural areas a network of some sort. We are being left behind!

still waiting for the app to be sorted out as I need to charge this at 12midnight when I get a good rate .if this is not sorted soon I will require a refund as it is not fit for purpose .
