Tried to get a refund and couldn't even though I bought protection. Have to file claim through insurance company. Stupid!

[Update] They reached out right away learning about my situation, and worked kindly with me to manage and compensate me. I sent me the refund right away, and offered further compensation, so this was nice to experience. I am extremely disappointed in this service. It took 8 hrs and 3 phone calls to receive my ticket for an emergency travel, then I got lied to several times and got charged and ripped off about the checkin baggage. The lady I spoke to said it's not included in my ticket even if it showered up in the Lufthansa website after I logged in, then she lied about the price and charged me way more than what it actually costs. She said it's normally $150 1 way for 1 checkin baggage internationally, but she can give me a deal for $275. Then when I didn't take it she said she "just found" a coupon code so she can give me a deal for $200 and she didn't let me get off the phone without paying for it. The next day at the airport the agent at the baggage checkin confirmed that it was included in my ticket, and that the prices for 1 checked baggage is between $30-60, nothing nearly $150... I am going to call and ask for a refund and report the whole incident to BB and other platforms.

Cheap fares did a bait and switch on me. Also was very nebulous on flight insurance which added fees. I caught this and cancelled the duplicitous fee. Bottom line is I have to watch this site very closely for hidden fees which add up to regular airfare costs. I learned and now I know what to look for.

Spoke with dispute resolution this am. Refunded $25 ticketing fee per person and offered coupon for $50 off next flight. Professional of them to reach out to dissatisfied customers. Could have rebooked flight on line for roughly $400 on line per person. Cost for covid and required rebooking thru cheap flights $750 per person.

Bunch of Bull S@&t… low fare and then after you buy that you have to pay extra for a seat…. Just a bunch of BS… won’t make that mistake again…

I felt it was a scam as my card was declined they kept calling until I paid but switched me to a more expensive flight I felt I was taken advantage of!

The price up front is misleading, price advertised should include seat prices. I am on a fixed income and was very disappointed.

It was kind of difficult to ge E ticket Almost 48 hours as they want to verify my name as written for air port security My name in Visa was without M initial I was told in 1 hour. I will get the tickets It took from 8 pm to 7 am next day All this made me late to have hotel and car reservation and miss good rates330 instead of 550 hotel Your process can be made more efficient and that’s really helped to have more customers doing that. Another issue is related to the addition of fees for personal belongings and seat assignment and luggage that made my total ticket more than 360 what it was listed as $160. I believe you should mention that those are going to be added to the price of a ticket before the reservation would be made by the customer . The only reason I went with your company for direct flight from Flint to Nashville and also it was AirBus Thank you for Your attention

Needed a one-way fare for a family emergency. Book the ticket the agent and try to upsell me and charge me $75 to upgrade me to economy and told me that I was not entitled to bring a carry-on on board. Also included in that $75 charge would be assigning me seats for both my flights. I declined, went on United website found out I was entitled to an carry-on and was able to assign myself my own seats. I don't know if the agent did this out of ignorance or company policy

I booked a flight back in May to visit my daughter and grandsons in Chicago. I got Covid and had to cancel / postpone it . It cost around $ 217.00. They could only credit me $ 167.00. So, I called back this past weekend to get another flight to Chicago and use my credit. Well of course they tell me that there are some technical difficulties and Southwest won’t take my credit . So , they offer me a hundred dollar refund or 100 dollars credit towards new tickets on southwest. Long story short they charged me another $196.00 dollars on top of the 217.00 I paid last May for nothing. So my total cost now is $413.00 . So “cheap flights” is not cheap at all. And how I only get 100 dollars credit after paying 217.00 originally makes no sense to me. Sounds like a shady deal to me. So buyers beware of this company!!!! They rip you off!

The service restrictions for economy class didn't fare well with me as I had to pay extra for my check luggage with no carry on. Please ensure that all services are apart of the cost.

The rate changed when I entered my credit card detail....additionally, the first flight that populated once I entered the dates/destination was a flight for a different date. This is too confusing and feels misleading.

After seven hours of purchasing a flight for my dad and myself we had to cancel since my dad with 88 years old had tested positive. Obviously we needed to cancel they did not want it to help us, After 18 minutes of argument I was giving them some options instead of them giving me options I requested for a Boucher and they agreed as long as I paid $125 for that service I have nothing else to say very bad experience

We booked our flight online, including paying $72.00 for our seat assignments. There were plenty of other seats available on the flight. A $10.00 fee was charged to our credit card, we don’t know why. Then when we booked the final reservation including car rental, the card was declined by the bank. We called them and they wanted to put us on different flights to “save money” when we had already chosen our flights. One flight would have us landing at 10:00 at night. The woman wanted to charge another $72.00 for seat assignments because she said that the seats we booked were already taken in the few short minutes our card was declined. We told them to cancel everything, and they miraculously were able to keep us on the flights we wanted. And we got the seats we had booked. Update: I changed my rating from 1 star to 2. The credit card was declined by the bank so we called them. The woman on the phone tried to put us on later flights to “save money”. She said we could use the trip insurance we’d paid to pay extra for the seats we wanted, seats we’d already paid for when the card was declined. We said to cancel the whole transaction and that’s when everything we wanted was charged to our credit card. In the end we got what we originally wanted and did not pay extra for anything and we still had our trip insurance, but I would not recommend them because of their pressure tactics to take different flights and use our trip insurance for seat upgrades.

thus far, i am very disappointed! Airline fares started and 360.00 and ended up around 800.00 by the time all was said and done. then there have been rental car issues, which i thought were reserved, bought, and paid for!! not the case.. now have to go to an off site location for the car.. hoping there is a shuttle free of charge, or i might go ballistic!!!

Not a good experience. Paid twice what I ordered online. Can’t imagine what I paid was the “Cheap”est flight they could find after they wouldn’t “verify” the first flight I paid for. Really ended up paying double. Not good. Won’t use this again.

It's nice. The only thing I don't like is that the fair isn't really flat because one has to also buy the seats and the system makes me feel like my flight isn't a for sure thing. I might loose my flight if I don't pay a certain fee.
