The series 2 coffee cup leaks, even when kept upright. I thought my product was faulty so I contacted Chilly's only to have customer service tell me the series 2 coffee cup "is not designed to be leak proof with temperatures above 60 degress". Seems like a pretty serious design flaw it is not designed to be leak proof. Also, I bought the cup to keep hot liquids hot, not to wait until they cool down to 60 degrees before it can be used properly!

I have. found the customer service poor, and the coffee cup is a leaky joke. It has ruined my bag, the coffee does not stay warm. Reading these reviews has confirmed for me that it isn't worth the bother of trying to sort it. But I won't be buying ever again.

Leaky lid ruining my bag and paperwork!!! Drip. Drip.Drip. . . . . I told customer services but because it is out of warranty they will not help - fair enough - I will therefore not reccomend your bottle as I believe it is either a design flaw or bad materials in the plastic thread of the lid which is "threaded" - as the drip got worse I had to tighten it more and the bottle is now a useless ornament - my cheaper alternative has lasted nearly 10 years! Not worth the hype. Thank you customer services, good work!

Bought a 500ml series 2, the cap leaks every time it’s opened. They sent a replacement cap and that also leaks. The neck also stains if you drink anything other than water (e.g squash), and the two neck components regularly screw off together which is very annoying. They sent a rather condescending response about ‘how to hold the neck in place’, as an adult with common sense I understand this, however having two components where you need to screw/ unscrew will always create this issue. Really disappointed about this, we have 4 series 1 bottles and no issues with these. The series 2 is a poor design, over-engineered and I will not be purchasing again.

The bottles are good, if you get one delivered that hasn't already been used and/or broken! Ordered one through Amazon, turned up with seal on box broken and the item itself used. Sent it back. Thought I'd get better luck ordering direct through the Chillys website. No... it turned up with not just the seal broken, but the bottle broken, and black finger marks all over it. The handle was covered in dust and scuffs too. Fobbed off by Chillys by saying it must have been caused by transit... but I don't think dust and finger marks are caused by transit... instead they have clearly shipped a used item. Considering we are in a global pandemic, sending out used bottles isn't really the way to go. Won't buy again. Oh, also the delivery was late.

After seeing a father's day promo for chilly I'd thought I'd order a bottle for my dad. The order went through and I received a confirmation screen with order number and the money withdrawn from my account. This was 4 days ago... Father's day is tomorrow, and with no post on sundays I'd thought I'd contact customer support to track my parcel. To my disappointment my order had been cancelled. With no emails or contact of cancellation, I'd still be waiting for my order to arrive next week if I'd hadn't got in contact with Chilly first. Do I have to now guess whether things I pay for will actually arrive? Customer service said, cancellation occurs when card details are incorrect, so why has the money been taken out of my account and still not refunded? Customer service said, the cancellation happened immediately after ordering and I would have been emailed. So why was I shown a confirmation screen which I had closed approx 5 minutes later, getting on with my day, and no emails received? Infact the only email I've received from Chilly is the a copy of my live chat conversation with them. To make matters worse, I was offered an apologetic 15% discount. I better tell my Dad the great news!!! Absolute $h!t show from Chilly (who still have my money)

The bottle is great and ice in it can last for twelve hours so I ordered the ice cube tray. It’s so flimsy and floppy by the time you get it from the sink to the freezer it’s slopped all over the floor. Filling if halfway you might as well not bother. 😕 I’m trying to get in contact to see if they’ll give me a free return otherwise I’ll end up paying nearly the cost of the bottle in shipping.

My series 2 coffee cup leaks I wrote to them and they responded by sending a new lid. Before they sent a new lid I was asked for lots of different photos - which I sentIt still leaks After the new lid I sent second email It leaks a lot when shaken. Less when moved or on its side but is wet with any movement. And more videos This is the reply I got “Given that our coffee cups are not 100% leakproof, we do not consider this a product fault. I do apologise sincerely if this was not clear upon purchasing the item, but we do not state that the cup is leakproof anywhere on our website.” It is remarkable that anyone would want to buy a coffee cup that leaks. My opinion is that if you can keep it fully upright it is fine - but if it is in a handbag or sports bag - your bag could get wet. I was amazed at the response- and I did reply earlier today but having had several exchanges - this was the final straw

My series 2 coffee cup leaks. I contacted customer services - they asked for a lot of photos which I sent. They sent a new lid. It still leaks. In one of their responses they say that “We do not consider this a product fault” It doesn’t flood but it leaks enough to make your bag or anything else you are carrying it in wet. I sent photos of it being shaken and just held - with both hot and cold water! Obviously it leaks more when shaken but it leaks when not standing entirely upright and still - so transporting it is a challenge in my opinion The final straw relating to the leak was the response below “I do sincerely apologise if this was not made clear upon purchasing the item, but we do not state that the cup is leakproof anywhere on our website” I certainly don’t want coffee in my handbag or sports bag

Don't waste your money! This company is a rip off. Claim to be environmentally conscious company but have them made in China. My coffee cup arrived damaged and they wouldn't send me a new one because it's not environmentally friendly. Really?! I was offered a measly £3 refund off a £30 cup. When I queried this I was brushed off. So it's fine to ship as long as you pay a fortune but not if they messed up. Also totally fine to have them manufactured in a country which is consciously polluting the environment and has no worker's rights. If I wasn't environmentally conscious myself I would throw it away on principle. I will stick with the £10 coffee cup I bought 15 years ago which actually keeps my drink warm.

I bought the Series 2 bottle after having the Series 1 bottle since launch. The Series 2 bottle is a great design visually, but from a practical stand point, it is poor. The collar screws into the bottle, and the screw cap into the collar. The screw cap doesn't have a gradual close to it, it just stops. It is very very easy to knock the screw cap so it comes undone. The only way to keep it tight is to screw it on that much, that when undoing, the collar comes with it. So to use this bottle, you either need the screw cap slightly loose, or have to have the collar come off each time. The silicone base also arrived hanging off. I contacted chillys to return it 3 days after i received it. I explained that the screw lid wont stay in unless you tighten that much the collar comes out. They gave me a canned response for how to tighten the screw cap, and keep the collar on, it is clear that they have had to tell a lot of people about this. Ultimately it is a bottle. You shouldn't need to have to manipulate it in a certain way to open it and use it correctly. This is a design issue. A simply divot system would fix this compeltely. They have refused a refund on health and safety grounds. Unfortunately for Chillys, the bottle as is, isn't fit for purpose so I am contacting trading standards.

I ordered two bottles on there paying £60. One of the bottles is a completely different colour to the one on their website. They fobbed me off saying that it is the same and that they cant help what it looks like on my monitor. However, i viewed it on many monitors to rule this out and explained this to them. They wouldn't offer a exchange, wanted me to pay for returns despite it going against the Consumer Rights Act 2015 selling an item not as described, there should be no further cost to myself to resolve this. The person dealing with my case 'Holly' was rude and had the audacity to say she was thankful that i received the correct colour, you can judge for yourself with the photos attached whether it is the same or not..... I am never buying from Chilly bottles again and wouldn't recommend them due to their deceiving products they sell as well as the support they provide to customers buying their overpriced bottles, it is truly shameful.

Ordered a series 2 coffee cup for my wife, and when the lid was fitted it leaked constantly from the lid seal. I contacted Chilly’s and they sent a replacement lid that leaked as bad as the first one. I could actually get it to seal if I tightened it as hard as I could, the only issue was I couldn’t get the lid off it without soaking the whole unit it hot water for a while and only then would it release. Chilly actually refunded the money for the coffee cup which I threw in the bin, and I purchased a Chilly’s 2 water bottle instead - but still disappointed with that as the ring below the lid comes off when removing the lid. All in all a bad experience on what used to be a quality product company.

I've been a chillys fan for a long time. I owned many of the series 1 bottles and when the series 2 range came out; I was very excited to give this a try as the series 1 was a fantastic range. Sadly you can see that chillys went from a great brand in the past to one that's very poor; and now clearly focused on low cost high profit operations. Long gone the days of DPD delivering bottles and instead it's now done by Hermes who don't always deliver with due care. The series 2 product itself is extremely poor. I ordered the coffee cup, on arrival there was damage to the bottom and also a two lines around the bottle which shouldn't be there (looked like it was done by a milling machine or sander). The plastic lid was cut with small jagged edges and sadly this isn't where the quality control issues end. After a few days of use the silicon bottom is already peeling off and I'm now just waiting on the rest of it to fall apart. I was hoping customer services would save the day. Sadly again the support is something very lacking. Reported damage on the 25th of Jan. Response on the 31st asking to provide the batch number which I already included in the first contact. Still no resolution, response or ownership of the issue. It's more fustrating I have ordered a second cup and will most likely face similar issues. I sadly can no longer recommend this company and advise people not to waste their money on a company clearly putting profit over the customer and environment. A large number of posts on social media show similar faults with series 2 and the constant requirement for replacement is no good for anyone.

Series 2 products are poor. Water bottle shoulder comes off with the lid. Coffee cup base comes off as it's a sticker and the twist lid is really bad. Awkward size means it doesn't fit in holders.

**Wouldn't even rate one star** I will never be ordering from Chilly's again. Firstly, I paid for express delivery to receive it by a certain date and upon my confirmation email Chilly's stated 'Orders to the UK and the rest of the world will continue to be dispatched as per normal.' This was not the case and my product was not dispatched until over a week later. When I received the product (2nd gen bottle), the engraving was extremely flawed and the loop handle is not positioned how it is advertised in 12 bottles when purchasing the product. I want a bottle which I purchased from the advertisement images, not different. Extremely poor customer service, contacted 10 days ago with my complaint and nothing has been resolved. DISGUSTING FOR AN EXPENSIVE PRODUCT AND PAID ENGRAVING!!!

In-keeping with a lot of recent reviews (have you changed your team recently, what's going on here?) I've experienced awful customer service, faulty products and a flawed warranty policy. Despite being able to prove my product was within warranty (their logo changed less than two years ago, so it was clear my product was new enough), Chilly's have point blank refused to issue a replacement to the faulty lid on the food pot I received for christmas, just because my sister didn't have the receipt anymore. Lack of human emotion in email responses and no helpful resolution. Keep well away.

Worst service - ordered a christmas gift and they sent the wrong item. Can't get hold of anyone and i've emailed 3 times now with ZERO reply. I also received an auto 'how was our support email' but obviously i've had no support. I just need the correct item in time for Christmas - they are such a waste of time i would absolutely not purchase anything again in the future and will not suggest them to anyone else. I think i might just return the item and give up all together!!
