I find it actually takes longer than TSA Pre, also the eye sensor worked the first time then it didn't and the finger verification always takes 2 trys. I also received a special offer to add family members for 3 months free. They charged me for a membership, when I called I was told I must have not entered the code so they gave me a credit less 15 cents. I went back in and tried again and there was no place for a code, so I was charged again and this time I was told it is not 3 months free it is a reduced membership for family members, they charged a different amount this time and credited me again for less 15 cents again. I will not be renewing, waste of time.

Horrible waste of time and money. By the time we waited on employees to scan our prints and write on our boarding pass, it took longer to get thru security. The others in our party , that didn't have Clear, were already thru. Its nothing more than a scam for them to verify your identification. Same security line. Same security measures. For $199 a year, not worth it.

Tried to take a picture five different times to secure identity on LinkedIn and was unsuccessful each time after having tried multiple time to secure a acceptable picture of my ID. I’m the president of a multi million dollar company with several locations and if I was not so busy I would create a company to complete in the task successfully. LinkedIn, you should certainly consider using some other service, that being said, the LinkedIn service is not what it should or could be as well.

Save your money, if you are at a major airport you will go through regular security faster. The Clear personnel at JFK have not got a clue as to what they are doing!

Not worth the money. If you get pre-check, you will be better off. Clear is such a waste of money and the service keeps getting worst, at least in the Houston airport

Clear works 30% of the time. 50% or more it slows you down. TSA has done such a better job at getting people through the line. You dont need clear most of the time. When you do need clear they usually have problem’s causing you delays. In fairness sometimes it works. No thank you clear not me…!

Worst scam ever. Customer service is not helpful and sends you in a loop every time, with the 'fill out this form' or call this number. Doesn't work. This is a waste of money and time.

Signed up for Clear because we were told it included TSA. Have had to go back to Houston Hobby 4 times. Horrible employees, incompetent, rude to travelers in the airport. Watched another traveler complain to the Clear manager about an employe being rude. Clear manager was rude back and then went to gossip to the employee about the travelers valid complaint. As a Clear customer of 4 days, we don't care to use their service or everything interact with their employees.

Applied for TSA precheck through Clear since they appeared to be faster. What a joke. It has been a month and I am still waiting for approval. Don’t believe the 3-5 day approval schtick. It seems unless you also pony up the $$$ for Clear, your TSA precheck is going to take at least 60 days.

Please be cautious and avoid falling victim to their deceptive fabrications and false endorsements, as they are operating a fraudulent scheme. This operation is not only a scam but also a criminal enterprise. Once they have gained your attention, they will persistently demand more money from you. Fortunately, after expressing my concerns to the SPECTRUM-CREST personnel, I was able to successfully withdraw my funds and prevent them from being misappropriated. I strongly advise against engaging with them in any way.

Waste of $ and time. It takes longer, is more expensive and is in less airports than TSA. When they first started, joined because reimbursed by AMEX and they were on their best behavior. Now, the people aren't trained or helpful, constantly have to rescan your eyes and enter info. The better half and I have several times taken TSA and Clear and TSA always is faster. Stay away and hopefully, they will go out of business soon.

I'm having issues with getting my Husband his ID. He is having a rough time getting Employment. So we can get another Bigger Apt. We don't have the $$$ to put up a Security Deposit and Rent Waived. He hasn't had Employment in some yrs. We need all the help we can get. His Father Mr Abel Ernesto Castellano won't bother helping. He has no way of applying for FAFSA so he can get enrolled in Online Classes for his BA Degree in Computer Security. We're Financially Struggling and Distressed with one Income.

Total SCAM. Get ready to call your credit card and fight to remove these charges. Total sales job to unsuspecting, rushed travelers like me. I have traveled the world extensively and you'd think I'd been scammed overseas by now. Nope. It happened right here in USA by CLEAR at an airport: LAX specifically!

People were rude. The payment process is ridiculous. You’ve already charged me then you’re charging me again for the exact same service with some ridiculous promise of a refund. Absolutely positively will never recommend this service

I would leave -5 stars if I could. I signed up for a free trial simply because I was running late one day and needed to get on a flight home. I canceled the trial as I had been given TSA Pre-check access anyway. I have an email confirmation from May, 3rd 2024. I was just charged today, November, 4th 2024, for a subscription I DID NOT RENEW. I immediately called my bank to dispute the charge. By the way, this service only helps you cut the REGULAR security line. It's nothing like TSA Pre-check, where you get through quicker and often go through a shorter line.

I was at CVG airport waiting in line with my friend. A woman cut us in line. Your clear employees which I do have the names of as well as the video, which has also been reviewed by TSA CVG airport, were completely inappropriate and unprofessional. A woman cut us in line and instead of your employees handling the situation appropriately they handled it like high school teenagers who had some petty vengeance against us for no reason. They were 50 year old women bullying 20 year olds at 5:30am for no reason. Something that did not even involve them but they decided to poke their big nose in it. I wouldn’t put it past them if it was a racism problem. We had one race against another and the malicious intent was CLEAR and obvious. It’s sad and unfortunate that this company puts themselves on this high pedal stool as if you are here to help but you created more problems for people who just wanted to go home and was minding their own business. Reflect and do better, be better. The world is bad enough and does not need the people of your company making it worse.
